LETTING GO
How can I truly let go? Why is it so hard for me to release control long enough to feel my inner peace? It appears to be hard for some to let go. We are taught all of our lives to hold on, fight for things and control our environments.
Going within every day teaches us how to let go. It teaches us that allowing brings peace and resisting brings derision. We choose to struggle because our egos don't want to give up the illusion that we can control our own good from unfolding.
Our own good is always present. It is we who choose to separate ourselves from it by not letting go. The only way that we truly become free to grow and expand comes when we get over ourselves and allow our greater good to guide us to fulfillment.
Be ye therefore letting go of everything that thwarts our progress to unfolding our Divine purposes in Divine order. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
SELFISH PROFIT
When selfish profit is sought more than the safety of our environment it clearly demonstrates that short term financial goals are more important than the long term benefits of protecting our environment.
We need to weed out the selfish profit mongers and elect representatives that serve our collective needs more than deriving profits from their corporate puppet masters. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

When we stop glorifying war, patriotism and personal sacrifice for nationalism, we will begin to grow up and learn to live in peace with each other.

BLOSSOMING
If you are content with whom you are, what you are, where you stand, how you live your life, when you share Divine love and why you even exist, you are not blossoming your Divine purpose in Divine order.
Challenges to your complacency and contentment are necessary ingredients to your growth and expansion into you becoming just what you were created to be. Life is a process of unfolding that which you were created to express.
Being too content leads to mediocrity. Being too complacent leads to selfishness. Ignoring challenges to your understanding of the truth of spirit leads to stagnation.
Focus on what edifies your understanding of your inner spirit more than what diminishes it and brings your ego to the forefront. That is the way to live in a dynamic expression of Divine love.

REJECTION
Whatever you reject in your life will leave your consciousness. Whatever you accept in your life will remain in your consciousness.
Whatever you resist in your life you are re-creating over and over again. Whatever you allow to be in your life without fighting, resisting or attaching any emotion to it, will pass through you into oblivion.

Conservatives Big on Fear, Brain Study Finds
Are people born conservative? Post published by Nigel Barber Ph.D. on Apr 19, 2011 in The Human Beast
“Peering inside the brain with MRI scans, researchers at University College London found that self-described conservative students had a larger amygdala (link is external) than liberals. The amygdala is an almond-shaped structure deep in the brain that is active during states of fear and anxiety. Liberals had more gray matter at least in the anterior cingulate cortex, a region of the brain that helps people cope with complexity.”
Is it true that an enlarged amygdala is the source of a conservative mindset? Could it be that the increased blood flow triggers more intense emotions of fear? “Stimulation of the amygdala causes intense emotion, such as aggression or fear. Irritative lesions of temporal lobe epilepsy have the effect of stimulating the amygdala. In its extreme form irritative lesions of temporal lobe epilepsy can cause a panic attack. Panic attacks are brief spontaneously recurrent episodes of terror that generate a sense of impending disaster without a clearly identifiable cause.”
“Liberals had more gray matter at least in the anterior cingulate cortex, a region of the brain that helps people cope with complexity.” It seems that the conservative mindset has difficulties in coping with complex issues. Perhaps that is why they are so single minded focused on defending the use of weapons because it substantiates their preoccupation with fear. With more grey matter in the anterior cingulate cortex, complex issues are more easily handled and solved due to the increased blood flow.
All of this is, of course, speculation; however, it seems quite apparent that those who fear more than others have extreme difficulty in handling the complexities in life. Peace and transfer the extra mass in the amygdala to the anterior cingulate cortex! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
ARGUING FOR
YOUR INFIRMITIES
Argue for you infirmities, aberrances and negativities and you will own them.
They will become what you accept as real and the more you think about them, feel their existence, speak their support, act on their supposed reality and behave according to their principles, the more you will be recreating them into your life.

NO RESISTANCE
Is allowance, in reality, no resistance? As with electricity there is positive and less positive instead of positive and negative. It is a difference of potential; allowance is positive and resistance is less positive more than negative. We naturally resist first due to ensuring our survival and then choose to allow after we have reacted.
Choosing to allow is proacting from our perceptions of threats to our self-survival. Our brains receive sensed information in time slices and perceive this information as electro-chemical copies of reality; these copies are then filtered through our individual belief system for comparative analysis as to whether or not the perception of reality is threatening to our survival or not.
Our emotional reaction in our amygdala is to run toward (fight), run away from (flight) or freeze (stand still). Our complex brain processes then determine its meaning. This becomes our 'awareness' of reality AFTER our automatic processes have filtered the relevance to our safety, security and survival.
Pivot from reacting to proacting as soon as you have determined your safety. Move from being less positive to being more positive. You can do it! Be ye therefore centered on awareness of your meaning in life more than just your survival! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
OUT OF CONTROL
Contention and debate are considered by some as an expression of love but technically they are ego lashing out to control, dominate and manipulate that which it doesn't understand; contention and debate are NOT love!
Love is that which edifies all and diminishes none. Love is what seeks to understand, bring together and unite; not which ignores, categorizes and separates.
Logic is the beginning of wisdom and living in love is the end of it. Reason is shallow without feeling the nurturing bond of all things.

THE BORDER
OF DISORDER
We exist every day of our lives on the ‘border of disorder’. Our cells naturally rearrange their structures in anticipation of environmental changes to ensure their survival. It is something that has been bred into our biological systems in order to grow and expand into something more than we currently are.
The more we discover about our inner cellular, molecular, atomic and subatomic systems, the more questions arise and the more we realize that we only know a slice of what is really going on. This programming leads us into being goal oriented creatures that strive for bettering our current situations in order to deal with the ‘border of disorder’ effectively.
Our subconscious minds accept this programming because it has proven it is the most successful way to ensure our individual self-survival and mutual collective survival. We are driven by urges to accomplish our short-term goals by the moving away from pain and moving toward pleasure.
However, our individual understanding of our inherent purposes create long term expectations that ‘overcome’ short term pain in order to maintain the quest of unfolding our purpose despite living on the ‘border of disorder’. A purpose driven life surmounts any and all obstacles placed before it because it HAS to in order to ‘feel’ complete and fulfilled. The end result has ‘feelings’ associated with it that occur ‘after’ it has been attained.
These feelings are the triggers for accomplishment and when we immerse ourselves in these feelings we actually reprogram our psyche to ‘overcome’ the obstacles that we perceive are in our way to fulfilling our perceived destiny. Knowing our individual purposes within and feeling the joy from attaining them creates a synergistic energy that drives the fulfillment of our individual purposes above all else. It is not just a selfish drive but a communal one as well.
When we fulfill our individual purposes we actually contribute to the growth and expansion of the collective of humanity. We elevate that which is by being the best of what we can be. Striving to be the best only comes when we recognize perceived obstacles as being copies of reality more than reality itself. When we understand that our perceptions are mere copies of reality we can learn that striving to be fulfilled actually becomes allowing more than striving.
It is in our inabilities to be sure about something that we give strength to that which we perceive is against our forward progress. As George Carlin once said in his book “Brain Droppings”; a deserving charity we should support is “The Alliance Of People Who Don’t Know What’s Next.”
Why? Because in accepting how things are perceived as being the only reality that exists we begin to doubt, worry about and fear that which we don’t know and don’t understand. The short-term goals of the avoidance of pain and the seeking of pleasure versus the long-term fulfillment of our purposes are like the juxtaposition of the short-term expression of weather and the long-term progression of climate.
You cannot use the short-term to predict the long-term because they are locked in a dance together that unfolds in a direction that can be mutually exclusive more than individually inclusive. Seek not to ‘overcome’ your perceived obstacles but to allow them to be what they are and never attach any emotional reactions to them. When you do, you reprogram your subconscious mind to react to them more than proact from them and create resistance more than allowance.
Live on the ‘border of disorder’ with a feeling of joy and accomplishment no matter what appears to be derogatory to your progress. Allow it to be what it is and it will pass through you into oblivion while you march forward to your destiny. Be ye therefore at peace amid chaos! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

NOT TRUSTING
Those who choose to live in fear are NOT trusting the Spirit of God; plain and simple. When you argue for your aberrance you embrace it more than the spirit.
Your choice; and you have the right to choose it; however, your choice affects the lives of others.
If you don't have true faith or complete trust, you will believe in opposing forces. Believing in opposing forces is living in the perceived dualistic reality AND living outside of yourself!

THE GREAT SPIRIT
The American Indian trusted the Great Spirit to protect them and became subject to genocide at the hands of the constituents of this government. Why? Because they chose to fight and resist instead of allow and be. They chose to protect themselves with war instead of allowing the Great Spirit to ‘protect’ them.
Their hearts are pure but they are human and therefore subject to making choices that undermine their societies’ longevity. They did not deserve what was inflicted on them, but because they were proud and not humble, they faced an opponent that used advanced weaponry against them. Columbus called them Indians because they were “in dios”, meaning people of God, or the Great Spirit. They were NOT called Indians because he was sailing to India. In fact, in 1492, the name ‘India’ was NOT the name of the country we now call India. It was Hindustan!
Indians do NOT like being called Native Americans. They migrated here BEFORE the Europeans and were NOT indigenous to America. It was the U.S. Government that labeled them ‘Native Americans’ to brand them and associate them with their oppressors. The Indian religions exemplify respect and accountability for what you believe and more people should live from their core principles to be at peace with our environment. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Choosing to fight is living in fear. Period. End of discussion. Peace to all of those who choose to live in fear, fight with every breath and resist that which they feel is against them.
You will learn on your deathbed that all the fighting you do to stay alive will be for naught. Why choose animosity when you could choose to live in peace and respect for all of life?
Defending your ego, your infirmities and your aberrances will only bring more of what you don’t want in your life. If you can’t, or won’t, see that, I pray that someday you will before you draw your last breath. Peace. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
NOTHING INTO SOMETHING
What is unseen congeals into what is seen by the process of creation. Creation moves from what we define as nothing into something by the observation of our consciousness. We participate in creation because of our consciousness.
This is why the extended process is called co-creation. The unseen is the expanding force of dark energy dominating the congealing force of dark matter. Consciousness directs the ‘unseen’ forces into the ‘seen’ forces of matter and energy.
What we sense of ‘reality’ is but a slice of it. We expect what we ‘perceive’ is real to be true. Perception, however, takes sensed observation of ‘reality’ and filters it through our accepted belief system in order to make sense of it. If we contain any beliefs that are erroneous, they will taint our observations in order to meet the expectations of our belief system’s agenda.
When we think about reality we expect what we sense to be true. We come to rely on our senses to be supplying us accurate information based on factual occurrences. Our subsequent thoughts rely on this information in order for us to concentrate on their accepted reality and contemplate their usefulness.
When we expect what we think is true we input beliefs into our belief system. By repeating thoughts that we accept as true we create beliefs; whether accurate or erroneous. We ‘feel’ that what we believe is true despite any contrary observations to their veracity. Only through an ongoing process of validation do we come to a deeper understanding of why we believe what we do.
When we expect what we ‘know’ to be true, we are allowing our intuition to guide us to fulfill our Divine purpose in Divine order. By knowing the end result of living in our Divine purpose and fulfilling our manifest destiny, we develop a dynamic state of inner peace, mutual understanding, ongoing joy and the sharing of Divine love. In essence, we are bringing a future possibility into a present probability.
We align ourselves with Divine order and bring about dynamic states of health, wealth, prosperity and abundance in our lives. Why? Because trust IS ‘knowing’ what you were created to be, do and have and NOT allowing any event, occurrence, situation, circumstance or the behaviors of yourself or others to diminish your conviction of your manifest destiny.
Trusting is expecting what you know to be true to unfold despite anything that you might perceive as reality to the contrary. That is how this vast omniverse was created. Despite the chaos, order resulted. Life always finds a way to re-create itself by the consciousness of expecting growth and expansion. Without expectation nothing would ever be created or done.
Expectation, in essence, is the trusting of the Divine completely and allowing Divine order to affect natural order and manifest our destiny despite the ‘odds’. Our job is to focus on the end result and feel the joy of its manifestation. That is the secret to living in fulfillment!
Be that which you are now by feeling the joy of living in fulfillment. Co-create the life you desire by letting go of your ego’s yearnings to control, dominate and manipulate existence toward your own selfish end and allow your Divine purpose to be fulfilled by trusting in it already happening.

WHAT GIVES?
THE EGO'S DECEPTION
Claiming that living imperfectly is living a fabulous life is listening to the deception of the ego.
As long as the ego claims it is imperfect, it has a way out of accepting responsibility for its actions.
Living perfectly in Divine love is the greatest delight! Why? Because if you declare imperfection that is all you will ever see and experience.

LIVING IN FEAR
Living in fear of what 'might' happen actually contributes to making it happen by the emotional resistance of it possibly happening. Whatever you focus your thoughts on and fuel with your emotions co-creates the end result of those thoughts and emotions. Why not deal with ignorance by allowing it to be what it is and moving toward what it isn't? We are not going to change the ignorance of others by fighting it; we will change it by not allowing it to be spread unchecked by the truth.
Ignorance relies on erroneous beliefs. Beliefs are nothing more than repeated thoughts that we accept as true without the necessary validation of their recurring probability. Without feelings behind them, beliefs are simply thoughts that have been repeated so much that we accept them as being true without testing their validity. When feelings fuel our beliefs they become our intentions to speak, act and behave to fulfill their obvious agenda. Whether based on fear or faith, the omniverse responds with the like condition in order to substantiate our premises. What appears to be true is actually a reflection of our projection and becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
We need to continually validate our beliefs with ‘facts’ and not conjecture in order to experience truth. In our world we are constantly hit with ‘possibilities’ of things happening without knowing whether or not they will ‘probably’ happen. Our contribution to the possibilities actually helps co-create the probabilities of them happening because we ‘believe’ that they will happen. This is why it so important for us to constantly test our beliefs in our belief systems so that we don’t co-create what we don’t want unconsciously instead of co-creating what we want consciously.
As long as we observe the facts, validate their possible outcomes and look within for the answers to their probabilities, we will be on the road to truth more than conjecture. Be ye therefore prudent in acceptance of what appears to be true without being properly validated! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

HELPING THE POOR
Since when is helping the poor not biblical? And besides, whether it is or not, it is common sense to help someone who needs a helping hand. It IS part of living!!!
My question to all the right wing Christian morons who believe this is that why is their understanding of the scripture based on what some egomaniacal preacher has taught them and NOT what it actually says in the Bible?
Why would they even consider not helping the poor to be the truth? The poor understand more than what they do; for sure! I guess they have forgotten about being your brother's keeper! Like Cain, they are their brother's murderer when they don't help the poor!
They are selfish and mislead by their own yearnings to control life and never allow the beauty of God’s world to unfold. May God have mercy on their wretched souls! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

IGNORANCE IS NOT
A POINT OF VIEW

Being responsible means that you are accountable for your actions regardless of how they play out. If you choose to fear what unfolds in your life that is your right.
However, if your fear interferes with my faith and trust in the Divine it is my right to expose it for the aberrance that it is. I choose to reveal instead of tolerate.
For in toleration, the ego does what it thinks it has to in order to appear socially correct. If you step on my toes, I will remove your foot and move on.

Choosing to love your neighbor more than fight with him clearly shows that you are in touch with your inner spirit more than listening to your selfish ego.
Making that choice each and every day brings peace to this planet. Encourage others to make the same choice and the effect will cascade across this planet.
It is in your ‘belief’ that you can do nothing to bring about peace that you are holding yourself back from living in it. You are a co-creator of your experience and it is up to you to choose wisely.

ACCEPTED BELIEFS
What is the one thing that separates us from each other? Is it that we look different? Is it that we behave differently? Is it that we live in different locations? Or is it that we share something in common that divides us instead of unifying us? It turns out that what truly separates us are our accepted beliefs.
Beliefs are nothing more than repeated thoughts that we accept as true. We use these beliefs to filter our experiences in life. If they are accurate, we ensure our safety, security and survival. If they are erroneous, we create dissension, derision and disconnection from others.
When will we come together and realize that we are one with each other AND our environment? When will we evolve and become peaceful, loving and kind to each other? Humans will evolve to living in peace when we come to know whom and what we truly are; expressions of Divine love that actively choose to allow life to progress without fighting its changes that we disagree with and resist.
We need to collectively grow up and accept the responsibility for our own destinies; learn to be accountable for our thoughts, feelings, beliefs, words, actions and behaviors; live in Divine love by sharing our talents, skills and abilities with all. Be ye therefore unifying more than dividing. Stop fighting and resisting and start unifying and loving. It will bode well for EVERYONE!!! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

WHAT IS MARRIAGE?
And what is marriage, really? It is “(broadly) any of the diverse forms of interpersonal union established in various parts of the world to form a familial bond that is recognized legally, religiously, or socially, granting the participating partners mutual conjugal rights and responsibilities and including, for example, opposite-sex marriage, same-sex marriage, plural marriage, and arranged marriage. Anthropologists say that some type of marriage has been found in every known human society since ancient times [dictionary.com].”
If you attempt to take away the right of others to express their love for each other then you are no more than a self-serving bigot that doesn't really care about love at all! Stop interfering in the lives of others to make yourself feel better about whom and what you believe you are.
Come to know who you are as well as others. Mind your own business and support love more than separation. What you seek to do becomes what you believe you are. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
RELIGIOUS STANDARDS
When you believe that others should meet your pre-programmed religious standards at all times it reveals that you are completely fooling yourself. You believe that because you were raised a certain way, led to believe things that were purported as true without validation and reinforced by those who were fooled just like you, that everyone should meet your standards of belief and behavior.
Who are you kidding? Who died and left you boss of everyone? Who do you think you are? Your job is to handle YOU and NOT impose your erroneous beliefs on anyone else. How dare you judge others based on your childish and erroneous beliefs? Get off your high horse and walk with the rest of us. That high horse of yours is blind to the truth and will end up throwing you off when you least expect it.
Religion comes from the Latin word ‘religio’, which is a binding together of people with common beliefs. It does not mean that those beliefs are TRUE! Focus on what you choose to believe and constantly challenge those beliefs by validating whether or not they are actually true.
Unless you do, you are fooling yourself and when you impose your beliefs on others you tainting your spirit with the demands of your selfish ego. Be ye therefore open to the truth and demand that it be tested over and over again until it is proven that it is the truth! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

A KNOW IT ALL?
I have been subtly accused of being a ‘know-it-all’ concerning ‘knowing’ the Divine and the principles of how the Divine expresses Divine love into our shared perceived dualistic reality. To know the peace, understanding, joy and Divine love of the Divine and sharing that with others is NOT being a know-it-all. Only a know-it-all would perceive it being that way because it challenges their erroneous beliefs that are based on the control, domination and manipulation of their self-centered ego.
An ego mindset always directs any discourse back to them and not us. A spiritual mindset always directs any discourse back to us and not them. I come here and share everyday because I have spent my entire life learning about the Divine and communing with the Divine in prayer, mediation and service. I have never claimed to know everything, but I do know that the Divine loves all of us equally and that we all have our own experiences with the Divine that are personal to us.
However, when people try to justify their aberrances of selfishly hoarding resources, separating us from each other and defending the use of weapons against other living beings, I have to speak up and say that God does NOT kill. God gives life and love. It is we who ignore that to our own ends believing that we are correct even though we know inside that the taking of any life goes against all of us. Too many of us will fight to the end defending our ‘right’ to hold the power over life and death over another living being because we ‘believe’ it is justified in the Bible.
I suggest that we all spend more time learning what was really said instead of what some egomaniacal preacher has told us is the truth. Discernment requires the intent of truly knowing things as they are and not knowing them to prove one’s own personal agenda.
