CONTROLLING WHAT
WE BELIEVE

The corporate news does a great job of telling us all what the elite wants us to believe. They weave a tapestry of ‘radical’ this and that without giving specific facts to lead to an informed decision. Just as they have you at your peak interest, they present a commercial that makes you feel good about yourself and the products and/or services that their advertisers are selling. They pique your reactions to do something to help yourself resolve the tension and chaos that they reveal in order to sell whatever their advertisers are hawking. Don’t believe me? Then study advertising and the psychology of selling.

One of the greatest tools of advertising agencies is the non-sequitur. It presents scenarios of life that don’t make any sense. These commercials annoy you because the brain HAS to resolve what it perceives and as long as you don’t know what something means, you will attempt to resolve it. Remember the Calvin Klein commercials of the ‘80’s and ‘90’s? The girl looks alluringly into the camera and says, “I hate my mother.” Most people did not know why but when they saw her picture with that look in the department stores Calvin Klein sales skyrocketed.

Advertisers KNOW how to manipulate the masses and that is why they have staff psychologists that they pay enormous sums of money to in order to market their wares. In this modern day and age the corporate news does the same thing! It keeps showing you disarray, chaos and innocents being maimed or murdered to put you into a state of fear where they can manipulate what you do as a result of these horrific acts that we view almost daily in the news. Watch intently and see what commercials are run; what political ads are touted; and what miracle product can make you feel more at ease and less fearful.

Go within each and every day to de-program yourself from the onslaught of the corporate news media filling your head with hatred, fear and loathing. We are the ‘us’ and the corporate news media is the ‘them’ that control, dominate and manipulate us by spoon-feeding the masses with what they ‘want’ us to believe more than what the spirit within ‘knows’. It is good to know what is going on in our world but it is better to know what we can do about it. Together we can choose faith in what we are capable of more than choosing fear in what we can do nothing about.

The choices are always present and it is up to us to choose what contribute to the growth and expansion of all of life over the fear of what will ‘possibly’ happen that is being preached by the xenophobes. Why are they preaching this? Because they want you to believe that they can rescue you from this horrendous and evil world when in fact the only thing that they are doing is increasing their bottom line. Ego seeks to increase the power it wields and the spirit allows all of us to live in peace, understanding, joy and Divine love.

Stop listening to the war mongers, the fearful sheep and the barking dogs. Be ‘pigs on the wing’ and fly over the battlefields of the manipulated into the realms of health, wealth, prosperity and abundance everlasting. Free yourself from the loathing and fear of the manipulators not by flicking the off switch; but by KNOWING what they are doing and WHY they are doing it.

Go out into your communities and contribute your talents, skills and abilities in Divine service to others and prove that their apparent hold on what we believe is not what drives us to inaction or reaction, but what drives us to proaction! A RED PHONE

A friend of mine here on Facebook just informed me that I occasionally imply that I have a red phone directly to the Divine. As I answered him, my 'red phone' is the same as your 'red phone' and is the same as anyone's. I come here to share my insights about my phone calls and some have a tendency to try to tell me what was said in my private conversations and how it was NOT on the 'red phone'. If my declarations become implications then it is on those who decide from their ego's stance that I am talking more from my ego than from the Spirit of God within.

Claiming that their take on what I do is the way it is without discerning what I am saying is tantamount to ego manipulation and NOT acting from the spirit within. As always, I relay my experiences just as you relay yours to me. If I am sometimes argumentative or acerbic it is because we all need to discuss spirituality with a common understanding of terms, definitions and principles. Without that commonality, we are talking in a void of misunderstanding and non-fruitful communication. We all learn from each other here on Facebook and in order to keep learning from each other we need to successfully communicate what we think, feel, believe, speak, write, act and behave in terms that we mutually understand. Without that, we are spinning wheels or treading water.

My intent has always been to express what I learn from the Divine in deep meditation with the authority of spirit. However, some take that expression of authority as being egotistically dogmatic because they have no understanding of what the spirit reveals or they don’t believe in or know the spirit at all. They only deal with what exists in the ‘seen’ world of the ego and have no knowledge or experience with the ‘unseen’ world of spirit. Actually, it is quite simple. If what your meditations reveal contributes to the growth and expansion of all without hurting anyone then it is definitely from the spirit. If it takes away from someone’s joy or hurts them in anyway while benefitting you only, then, and only then does it come from your ego. If anyone cannot understand that, then their ego is controlling their lives. If you can and do understand that, then the Spirit of God within is guiding and directing you.

From the ego’s viewpoint anything and everything that the spirit reveals is dogmatic, unsubstantiated and unreal because it does not come from your 5 physical senses of perception. What they fail to realize, is that their senses are limited and do not reveal the entire picture. They become dependent only on what they reveal and discard anything else (e.g. intuition) as invalid. They have closed the door to their sixth sense of mental proaction and remain in their limited emotional reactions of what they feel and experience from their external environment. Their seventh sense of spiritual intuition is relegated by them as being transitory and meaningless. Don’t allow their limited sensing, thinking and knowledge of the ‘seen’ world to hinder your ability to feel the wisdom of the ‘unseen’ spiritual world of intuition. It is they who have chosen to be limited while you have chosen to be unlimited.

The doorway to intuition is opened when we learn how to use our imagination and see beyond the constructs of the physical world and into the superstructs of the spiritual world. The ‘unseen’ underlies the ‘seen’ and modern science has mathematically speculated its existence even though experiential evidence only comes from the result of its interactions more than the direct observation of it. There are more things in the omniverse than meets the eye and as long as anyone denies that categorically based on the windows of limited observation, it appears as though the physical world unfolds irrespective of the choices of our consciousness. This occurs even though modern science KNOWS that our consciousness not only affects the observation of an experiment; but alters the result of what is perceived.

Learning the complete truth requires an open mind to all of the possibilities and not a closed mind that limits its experience. I have always brought that perspective to the table and share that with all of you. If I have implied that I am dogmatic in my zeal to express what I have learned I apologize; that was not my intent. INTOLERANT OF FOOLS

I recognize and 'see' the Divine in others and de'ego'ize fools with the terms and names that they have EARNED because of their aberrant choices and behaviors. For me to point that out does NOT make me bad or egotistical and I will protest their aberrance as long as they display it!

My spirit is humble and my ego is intolerant of fools and their folly. As with everyone, we all need to balance our spirit and ego and perhaps my imbalance is what is needed to wake others up.

I draw the line at foolish, moronic and assholish behavior because I have lived long enough to see the results of it and no longer need to relearn lessons that I have already learned. I will NOT suffer the ignorance of fools.

I will identify it and call it out for exactly what it is; the ego's aberrance to protect itself at the expense of others! Peace. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

LOSING TOUCH
WITH REALITY

When what is not normal becomes what is normal, we have lost touch with reality. So, naturally, we need to ask the question, “What is normal?” Normal means to be in conformity with established rules of order; to be balanced and forthright in truth and justice; to live in between superiority and mediocrity by practicing that which supports you, your family and friends. Now we need to ask what is it to be abnormal? It is behavior that is deviating from the standard of normal. If your aberrant behaviors become what are normal for you, then you are definitely abnormal.

If your accepted behaviors of contributing to the growth and expansion of yourself and others are true to you, then you are considered by those in a healthy society as being normal. Normal is a standard of behavior that encourages others, gives back to what has supported you and stands firm for the truth. Don’t let anyone convince you that those who defy ‘normality’ in behaviors by displaying negative actions are on the right track. The right track changes mediocrity and superiority into a balanced state of normalcy.

As most of us have learned; too much of a good thing is not a good thing anymore. Can this be said in the converse as well? Is too much of a bad thing not a bad thing anymore? Hardly. Normalcy balances what you demand of yourself to achieve and what you actually do achieve. It is a dynamic state of growth and expansion that recognizes good behavior over aberrance. It means to stay on course and NOT go astray from your perceived destination. So the next time someone says that being normal is boring, they don’t truly know what it means. THE ABUNDANCE OF NATURE

Take a walk and observe all of the abundance in nature. Feel how the trees need the rain to thrive. Feel how the flowers need the insects to survive.

Feel how the grass needs the Sun and rain to grow and expand. Feel the connection between all of life and know that you are NEVER alone.

The essence of life has loved you enough to give you life, maintain it and allow it to grow. Be thankful for your connection to life and love and you will be healed of all loneliness. Peace. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

EGO DESTROYS

Ego destroys what it does not understand while spirit gives life to what supports life and who loves the beauty, magnificence and majesty of creation.

Nature reveals the unfolding of Divine order perfectly in harmony and balance. It flows as it is without the interference of anyone’s ego.

Be like nature and allow Divine love to flow through you into your world and co-create beauty, peace and love with all.

You are nature and nature is you when you stop resisting that which you don’t understand and start allowing that which gives life to all! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

POLYGENISM

Polygenism is a theory proposed by those who refuse to see the facts of the unfolding of human life. Yes, we appear different on the outside but are the same on the inside. It is in how we react to our environment that we vary in emotional responses.

Just because we are one race doesn't mean that we have certain proclivities of behavior. it doesn't matter what skin color you are to be a bigot, jackass or asshole. Only those who live in fear know what that means.

We are all the same spirit on the inside despite what color of skin we have, what we believe about our world or what we do with what we have. We are all blessed! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

ME OR WE

The ego always points to ‘me’ while the spirit always points to ‘we’.

Words are the fruits of your thoughts and feelings and they will always reveal your focus.

Your ego is a construct of your being’s biological processes and the spirit superstructs fulfillment from those processes. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

FACTS AND OPINIONS

Facts exist independently of opinions. Opinions exist because of skewed beliefs people accept as true about facts. If their beliefs are erroneous, then they have altered the truth about the facts to justify their selfish conclusions based on their fear of being safe, secure or mediocre. If their beliefs are accurate, then the truth will repeat itself without their justification and they will know that they are safe, secure and blessed. Allowing what ‘isn’t’ to taint what ‘is’ is tantamount to prevarication while believing that you are telling the truth.

See the truth ‘as it is’ by discerning what you observe, evaluating its possibilities, inferring its probabilities and knowing the difference between what ‘might’ happen and what ‘will’ happen based on logical conclusions and Divine intuition. Reacting emotionally to the unfolding of life forms erroneous beliefs and uninformed opinions which hurt more than help others come to know the truth. It is YOUR responsibility to be an accurate witness and your word depends on just how accountable you are to the truth.

Believing more than knowing proves that you are only out to protect yourself more than moving toward what protects everyone. A false witness will reap what is sown by always living in fear while an accurate witness will always maintain joy in the truth no matter what anyone claims, infers or dictates. When you are truthful you align the unfolding of your Divine purpose in Divine order to reflect Divine will and share Divine love with all. Anything else is fooling yourself and lying to everyone.
