When something is so obvious in intent and execution that you come to an informed opinion based on the repeated facts, the only way to absolve yourself from the consequences is to change the definition of what you have done.
This is called ‘spin’ based in personal agenda manifestation and further construes your guilt in the original acts that have defined your aberrant behaviors. When covering your ass becomes more important than living in the truth you have lost your soul.
Living in the truth requires character, insight and caring more than defending your aberrances which you actually ‘chose’ to commit. If you parrot what others say without verifying its veracity or validating its occurrences, your opinion is worthless. If you choose to believe something and don’t make the steps to unwind your beliefs to see if they are erroneous or accurate, your opinion is worthless. If you blame someone for judging others when they are discerning whether their opinion is truthful and valid, you are judging them yourself.
If you ferret out the truth by doing the research and checking the veracity and validity of your sources, you are DISCERNING the truth and NOT judging what others say. When you emotionally react to what others say based on your beliefs and opinions, you are judging what they are saying and not discerning what they are saying. Opinions that are NOT based on facts are erroneous, not circumspect and of no use whatsoever except to emotionally charge others to jump on your bandwagon.
Look at Donald Trump; listen to what he says. He talks about how much people like him more than the issues. He loosely discusses policies and is non-committal. He is bullshitting everyone with his rhetoric, self-centeredness and his ego. Cut through the bullshit and see him for what he is; a liar, a manipulator and an opportunist. He cares not for you or me. He only cares for himself and his financial and attention-getting capital. He thrives on your attention and when he is ignored, he is lost. See him for what he is. STOP FIGHTING
As long as you fight that which you believe is harming you, it will keep recreating itself simply because you have given your resistive attention to it. You have accepted its truth and reinforced its validity. Why do more people lose their ‘battle’ with cancer, their fighting against inequality and their overcoming of obstacles?
It is because they have directed their mental and emotional energy to reinforcing its very existence. Instead of fighting and resisting that which appears to be against us, we need to allow it to pass through us without attaching any emotion and passion to it; and let it fizzle out and debilitate itself.
Look around you and everyone is fighting this or that, running away from what they fear and hiding from what they know that they were created to be, do and have. Fear is a motivator that creates more fear. It NEVER creates love.
Love is a motivator that creates more love and subsequently complete and utter fulfillment. Stop fighting, battling and resisting that which you fear and embrace peace, understanding, joy and Divine love. THAT is your winning formula! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Do you believe in pernicious and avaricious people, who are attractive, say what you want to hear or do what you hope to do and be someday? Do they capture your attention and your heart because you want to be like them? Or is it that you care more about how the world perceives them then the fact that they ‘have’ no connection with their spirit within?
What are your priorities? Are you more concerned about what you can get from them or what you can do to be as ‘recognizable’ as them? Many talk a good game and convince others that they are focused on all when in fact they are focused on themselves. Ego has a way of spinning the perceptions of reality to its own ends in order to gain allies.
Don’t be fooled by what ‘appears’ to be sound, caring and true. Go the extra mile and dig deeper until you get to the core issues. Come to know that what they are doing is more for their own edification than for the edification of all. See through the veil of ‘spin’ and come to know that agenda manifestation guided by ego will ‘appear’ to be unfolding what is best for all when in fact it is what’s best for itself.

HEARING AND LISTENING
Do you hear with your mind more than you listen with your heart? Are you always hearing what others are saying and concentrating more on what you are going to say next more than understanding what they are saying? Or do you simple ignore what they are saying and feel that what you are going to say is more important? If you do, you truly have ego dominance problems. Listening to reply intelligently and caringly is more important than hearing to reply reactively without even considering what someone else is saying.
The ego builds walls to block certain incoming information when it has decided, by fear, to establish an opinion despite the facts. Facts progress and change as time moves forward. Digging in your heels to believe something that is no longer true or valid is selfishness at best. Only and open mind and a considerate heart can process new information that stifles erroneous beliefs. How can you get an open mind and a considerate heart?
By allowing that which is within and beyond your selfish ego to listen with the intent of understanding more than the reaction to reply. We all see things from our own unique perspective and to deny what someone else sees categorically without understanding their perspective is selfishness at best. If, after careful examination, their opinions are based on erroneous beliefs centered in fear and selfishness, then you can reveal their veracity and validate their occurrences to others.
Listen from your heart and respond with your mind AFTER doing the necessary work of learning the truth. In this way, what you say (mind) and how you say it (heart) will be in alignment and reveal the accuracy of the truth and not the illusions of erroneous beliefs. A VICTIM OF
CIRCUMSTANCE
Are you a victim of circumstance? Do things pile up around you and you feel that there is no apparent way out? Are you surrounded by people and things that you feel are draining your very life energy? Circumstances are the conditions surrounding and accompanying events, occurrences, situations and the reactions to the behaviors of others and yourself. The root of the word is circum (around) and stance (to stand). In other words, circumstances are an unessential or secondary accompaniment of any fact or event; the minor details [dictionary.com].
These details are the result of the occurrence of facts unfolding in time. They are sometimes perceived by us as the consequences of our actions; when in fact, they are the ancillary perceptions of what is occurring around us. Most of the times they are NOT even real! Don’t be afraid of circumstances because they are perceptions of possibilities more than the manifestation of probabilities. When you accept them as being real and believe that they will definitely manifest, you have participated in your own undoing.
Yes, you participated in creating those circumstances but you don’t have to be undermined by them. Send them off into oblivion and see the end result of what you desire. Don’t participate in creating that which you don’t want simply because you believe that the results of those circumstances are inevitable. Be focused on what you desire and feel the joy of living in your desires by taking advantage of opportunities when they arise to be fulfilled. It is then that they will manifest in Divine order at the right place, at the right time and with the right people. Be ye therefore aware that circumstances are perceptions more than inevitabilities. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
DISCERNING TRUTH
I discern the truth through thorough research on the Internet and in the library. When people come at me with their opinions based on supposition and NOT fact, I call it how I see it. Judgment is a reactive evaluation based on emotional beliefs accepted as real; even when they are erroneous. Discernment is a proactive evaluation based on logical reasoning from critical thinking or from intuitive guidance.
When people spout opinions with no facts to back them up I call them on it. I am not looking for controversy or to beat up on someone intellectually. I speak from the heart about that in which I have tested its veracity and validated its occurrences. When people spout opinions from websites that are funded by Republican think tanks manifesting their clandestine agendas, I will point that out.
In Trump’s case, I have known contractors who he ripped off and never paid; only to buy their businesses when they went into receivership. He is an egomaniacal buffoon who only cares about seeing himself on TV. That is why I mock and point out his aberrance and will continue to do so. In Obama’s case, my research has clearly shown me he is a decent family man, a methodical scholar and a sincere and caring person.
Things that could NEVER be said about Trump. Being spiritual means being honest and forthright despite what other say, believe or do. I will be who I am and call out those who are led by ego more than by the Spirit of God. Peace. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
Can you be on one side of the fence and on the other side at the same time? Can your left leg be on the left side of the fence and your right leg be on the right side? Sure it can. You can straddle the fence of wisdom all you want and you will never make any forward progress. Only when you either move your right or left leg in a direction on one side or another will you be able to move forward and unfold your Divine purpose in Divine order.
Are you moving to the right and living in fear? Or are you moving to the left and living in love? These states of existence are mutually exclusive and cannot occupy your mind and heart concurrently. It’s either one or the other. It is your choice and your choice alone. Wisdom silently reveals that you cannot straddle the fence and make progress. It is in your commitment to moving ahead that you either follow the whims of your selfish ego or the truth of Divine guidance.
Stop fooling yourself by following the beliefs of others that are erroneous and not a part of your forward motion and manifest destiny. Get off of the fence and move toward complete and utter fulfillment by choosing to live in Divine love and NOT fear. Your happiness depends on it! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Thanks to Donald Trump, Obama’s citizenship stayed in the headlines with the BIRTHERS! A genuine ‘disinformation’ website designed to ‘invent’ and create news that aligns with their agenda manifestation more than the truth. By using ‘partial’ truths they speculate that a big conspiracy is afoot. Kenneth F. Schortgen, Jr., an IT professional, an affiliate and business owner at Karatbars International and affordable Gold by the Gram Affiliate, finances the To the Death Media website in order to make their erroneous claims plausible to the general public. One such story is “BREAKING: Hawaii Officials
Drop BOMBSHELL About Obama’s Birth Certificate”. Mr. Schortgen is also a contributor to the right wing blog site Examiner.com (a right wing blog engine) for which I used to write for as the Wilmington Spirituality Examiner until I was fired by them in 2009 for speaking the truth against one of their right wing nut case (in my opinion) Religion and Eschatology writers Keith Wimer. This is all detailed in my book “Spiritual Growth: Articles of Expectation”. Now, when someone makes a claim it is always best to go to the bottom of the website and find out who the publisher is and google their name to find out their affiliations.
In other words, find out who is financing the website and low and behold, you will discover why it is there to manifest their agendas. Also, take the headline and plug it into the search engine atsnopes.com to find out if it is fact or rumor. In this case, visit this link and you will find that the claim is false. Always follow the money and the reasons why someone wants to spin the truth to their advantage. Liars seem plausible but their twisted hearts will always be revealed in the light of truth. Go ahead; call me a liberal, a progressive and a bleeding heart. I will wear those tags as badges of honor. Why? Because I seek peace in my life and the world around me every day more than fighting, resisting and derision. PEACEMAKERS
Some people refer to weapons as ‘peacemakers’. How can you make peace by violence? It is the threat of counter action that maintains peace more than the actual use of it. Weapons are NOT peacemakers; people are that employ the philosophy of the ‘balance of power’. Imagine, for a minute, that you are an Iranian citizen in a job and trying to raise your family. The ‘threat’ of Israel having a nuclear weapon generates fear in your people. Your government initiates a nuclear program in order to ‘balance’ that power and minimize the fear of being attacked.
Why do they live in fear? What has Israel done to the Palestinians time and time again? The hostility in the Middle East is NOT over religion. It is over land and the resources contained in that land. Israel is NO saint in this hostility. They are complicit in generating fear by force. Don’t buy this ‘holy land’ biblical bullshit that this is the Jews ‘promised land’ and they are God’s chosen people. Who wrote all of the Old Testament? Jews. No wonder they are ‘favored’ by God!
We are ALL God’s chosen people because God created us in his spiritual image. We all have the Spirit of God within. Only when we operate from that blessed spirit will be seek peace; learn to understand one another; live in joy with all of life; and share Divine love everlasting. In the temporal world the ONLY thing that ever maintains peace among radicals is a balance of power. The Iran Nuclear Deal has slowed down Iranian progress toward completing a nuclear weapon.
We will lift their economic sanctions when this deal is approved by our Congress. Five other nations are behind this deal. Only fools dismiss negotiations in favor of war. Let’s all stop being foolish. Call your representatives and urge them to pass this deal as we move toward a balance of power in the Middle East where Israel has to obey being peaceful and not fomenting war. OUR MORAL COMPASS
When your right to express your opinion supersedes the right of the rest of us to know the truth, especially if your opinion is based on lies and untruths, we have lost our moral compass and have elevated those ‘rights’ over the truth itself.
The truth is always paramount, despite the erroneous opinions and beliefs of others. If your assessment of reality violates, hurts and diminishes the truth for the rest of us, then your right to express it should never be elevated over the right for the rest of us to know the truth.
Spin it anyway you want and your agenda manifestation will be obvious to those who discern more than judge and who seek the truth over skewed opinions and judgments.
The truth always stands on its own without the egoic yearnings of those who seek to control, dominate and manipulate it to their own end.

LOVE THE TRUTH?
When you truly love the truth you NEVER let anyone else control it, dominate it, manipulate it, spin it or bastardize it. You stand WITH it and you anchor yourself in it! You allow it to be your shining star and NOT the egos of others and their agenda manifestation.
Allowing anyone to alter what is to suit their own agenda is to deny the truth and live a lie. Stand up for the truth and what is right no matter what happens and you will be blessed with peace, understanding, joy and Divine love everlasting!
