What appears to be miraculous is in actuality Divine order moving natural order to unfold what you observe to fulfill your actualization in direct proportion to your expectation of its occurrence and the allowance of its manifestation. Either every action is miraculous or it is not.
The miracle of life is life itself growing and expanding into what it is expected to become and what is allowed to happen. Seeking supernatural explanations for natural unfolding is like claiming that a wise old bearded man on a golden throne in the sky is gracing you for kissing his posterior and obeying his rules to reap some reward that has been dangled like a carrot in front of a mule to get him to move. If you believe that this is the way life works then I suggest you look into how nature unfolds and manifests whether you participate or not.
Life goes on without your concepts and constructs of its manifestations. Life is. It came out of chaos by congealing and defining organic order from the inorganic raw materials that were doing their dance of energy and matter state change. Is life “a course in miracles” or “a curse in miracles” that unfold in your perceptions? You are what the Divine created you to be. Life out of randomness and chaos in order to look back at itself and proclaim, “I am that, I am.”
Be fulfilled in knowing that you are the advancement and culmination of what the omniverse does naturally; even though it appears to be miraculous to your limited perceptions. Divine love is the expression that created of all of life. As above, so below!
Be ye therefore perfect and NOT what others and your perceptions tell you that you are. Be the perfect divine being you were created to be by expecting the best to unfold for you and others and then allowing it to be so. And so it is! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

AN ASSURING CALL
years ago I received a call from my long time friend, colleague and mentor, Pastor Dr. Benjamin “Twin B.“ Brown. He called to assure Liz and me that no matter what the courts, the attorneys and the evil ones are doing that God will reveal their evil when the time is right. He wanted us to know that especially today on Thanksgiving. God bless him! Following is an article on him that was in my book, Spiritual Growth: Articles of Expectation.
“Recently, a good friend of mine celebrated his 80th birthday. Pastor Dr. Benjamin “Twin B.“ Brown celebrated another year just after the loss of his beloved mother 3 years ago. I have observed this man for many years and have just recently, this year, come to know him as an associate and a friend. His track record of community involvement speaks for itself. For 68 years he has served the Wilmington community. 55 of those years were in broadcasting, 48 years were preaching the gospel and 38 years of teaching our youth the principles of video production in his video production workshops. Over the course of his career he offered assistance to many people and families in this area, receiving over 51 awards for his meritorious service. For 44 years he has offered special services for shut-ins, seniors and the needy. He has received 3 honorary Doctor of Degrees after 48 years as an ordained gospel minister. Pastor Brown was the originator of leased access TV programming now on Comcast Cable Channel 28. His hallmark shows have been the Sunday morning Spiritual Revival Hour (8 AM to 11 AM every Sunday) and Reaching for the Stars Talent Showcase.
Pastor Brown is an extraordinary man. He has had challenges with the cable companies, government bureaucrats, school officials and government agencies for most of his career. His desire and dedication to the youth of our community is unparalleled. His major challenge over the past few years has been to get the City of Wilmington to get Comcast and the school districts to follow through with their contract and commitment to actualize PEG. PEG stands for Public, Education and Government access for the community. So far, Channel 22 in Wilmington broadcasts government related programs to the city. Most of the local school districts have the capability at some schools to broadcast educational programming. Recently, the City of Wilmington has agreed to broadcast educational programming on Channel 22 (however, Comcast has to provide a separate channel for this purpose).
When I was in high school, Rollins cable allowed our video facility at Newark High School to broadcast entertainment and educational programs to the cable franchise territory. Since then, the interest and commitment level hasn’t been fully utilized. Also, public access hasn’t been fulfilled by Comcast. Public access is free programming on a separate channel than leased access (pay to play). Currently, only 2 channels have been utilized and Comcast’s contract is supposed to have 4 channels. Through the efforts of Pastor Brown and LAPA (Leased Access Producers Association), many of these issues and requirements for Comcast have been addressed over the years. However, they have fallen on deaf ears. The school districts, the public and government officials as well as Comcast have done as little as possible to offer quality educational programs to the community.
In an age of information overload, many of our young don’t have the opportunity to experience true peace and community involvement. They are distracted by video games, mindless television and non-participatory parenting. Pastor Brown has offered his free workshops to teach these children the skills of video production and the skills of life mastery. Many of his students have gone on to careers in film, television and radio. His instructional legacy has had a positive impact on many young lives. What can we do to help? A MOMENT IN TIME
What is a moment? Is it a second of time or a series of seconds that allow you to ponder your thoughts and generate inner feelings? A moment is an indefinitely short period of time; an instant or juncture of importance or consequence; a particular time or period of success, excellence or fame.
A moment is an undetermined period of time where time loses its significance because you are experiencing the feelings associated with your predominant thoughts. It is the awareness of your thoughts that channel those thoughts in subsequent feelings that support your predominant thoughts.
If you continually focus on what you do not want in your life in these moments, what you do want in your life cannot and will not come to you. Why? Because the acceptance of your well-being cannot manifest what you do want when you are continually co-creating what you don’t want by dwelling the thoughts and feeling the feelings of what you don’t want.
You cannot feel good and bad at the same moment! You can from one moment to the next feel differently, but NOT in the same moment! Moments become seconds, seconds become minutes, minutes become hours, hours become days, days become weeks, weeks become months, months become years and years become a lifetime!
If you spend the majority of your life focusing on the moments of what you don’t want in your life, you are co-creating more of the same until you get to the end of your life and wonder why you haven’t gotten what you ever wanted!
Go for the good feeling of what you want in every moment of your life and you will be co-creating more of what you do want in your life. It is not that you are physically attracting objects, things and people through a mysterious Law of Attraction; it is because you are allowing your greater good to be a dominant thought and feeling that assures you of fulfilling what you innately desire!
The Law of Allowance is very simple and straightforward; what you allow, you fulfill! Be there in your life’s moments with thoughts and feelings of peace, understanding, joy and Divine love and you WILL be completely fulfilled with the manifestations of your inner desires.
You were created to experience health, wealth, prosperity and abundance as your NATURAL state of well-being. Stop interfering with the natural flow of well-being by accepting and fulfilling your erroneous beliefs instead of expecting your deepest Divine desires. Be ye therefore fulfilling! ~Dean A. ARE YOU FOOLING YOURSELF?
What you feel, think, speak and act can be weak links in a chain of erroneous beliefs that when severed distract you from manifesting your Divine purpose unfolding in Divine order.
Your feelings allow you to instinctively know what is going on in your environment; a Divine feedback system. Your thoughts allow you to ascertain whether events, circumstances, situations, occurrences and people are threatening your survival or contributing to your ability to thrive.
Your words allow you to communicate your thoughts and feelings in order to take the necessary action in surviving and thriving. Your actions are physical statements that culminate your feelings, thoughts and words.
Your feelings, thoughts, words and actions are all filtered by your belief system. If there are any erroneous beliefs and convictions that you harbor they will influence all of your expressions.
Unfolding your Divine purpose in Divine order in a timely fashion only comes when you remove any and all erroneous beliefs from your belief system. If you truly want to fulfill your Divine purpose then why would you harbor any beliefs that don’t contribute to the manifestation of your Divine purpose?
Only you can remove these erroneous beliefs by becoming aware of their existence and educating yourself as to how to remove them. A person can only learn when they are teachable.
Become humble in the spirit every day and you will begin to see what is working for you and what is not. Make the steps to dismiss any and all concepts that contradict YOUR reality.
We all share a common reality and when our individual reality is based on unsubstantiated facts then we are opening ourselves to misinterpreting the collective reality and forging erroneous beliefs that don’t serve the unfolding of our Divine purpose.
Be true to yourself and others by dismissing beliefs that contradict the collective reality with unsubstantiated ‘facts’ like “I don’t have a body.” Why would you go on fooling yourself with opinion instead of fact? ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
ARE YOU GENDER BALANCED?
What does it mean to develop your feminine side? It is the joy of changing your mind after you have firmly made it up because your true feelings have surfaced and you know what is best for all concerned.
What does it mean to develop your masculine side? It is the joy of making up your mind after you have changed it because you have observed what doesn’t work and embrace what does.
What does it mean to be gender balanced? It means that you not only observe what works and what doesn’t work but you allow others to discover that on their own without forcing your agenda on them; while respecting their right to make their own choices that are different from yours.
When the feminine and masculine sides are in balanced in an individual, Divine order is not only perceived but it becomes a priority. It is allowed to transpire without interference from one’s ego in controlling, dominating and manipulating events, situations, occurrences, circumstances and the behavior of others to the advantage of self. It is placing yourself in the slipstream of Divine order to become whom and what you were created to be without any struggle or resistance. What is genius? By definition, genius is an exceptional and ‘natural’ capacity of intellect impressed with intelligence and ingenuity and expressed in creative and original work in science, art, music and humanities. It is the capacity to utilize a ‘natural’ and inherent insight to observe, collate and evaluate situations, circumstances, events, occurrences and the behaviors of others and to understand exactly what the original motivations and causes were that created these expressions. It acknowledges and accepts the observed ‘truth’ revealed by the senses.
Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe once said, “The first and last thing required of genius is the love of truth.” It takes what appears to be a common and everyday occurrence and awakens us to the marvel underlying its manifestation. Goethe expressed this as follows:” It is the great triumph of genius to make the common appear novel.”
Genius invigorates one’s being with the confidence needed to succeed, even though it might face many challenges in the expression of being successful; take Dr. Stephen Hawking for example. He was told he would die years ago but his drive and determination to seek the truth of our existence literally kept him alive and ‘successful’.
Goethe said, “Beware of dissipating your powers; strive constantly to concentrate them. Genius thinks it can do whatever it sees others doing, but it is sure to repent every ill-judged outlay.” A genius implies that in of and as itself, it is special. However, the fact is that we are all special. We all have the capacity to embrace genius when we seek to be greater than we are.
True genius is in mastering the whims of the ego and allowing the guidance from the Spirit of God to fulfill the expectations of our inner desires and manifest our Divine purpose in Divine order. The following statement sums it up: “For a man to achieve all that is demanded of him he must regard himself as greater than he is.” ~Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe.
Albert Einstein, the most recognizable embodiment of genius, once said, ““Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” He also said, “Genius is 1% talent and 99% percent hard work.” Furthermore, Einstein focused on what creates genius in all of us and that is the development and use of our imagination: “Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.”
Through the development and freedom of our imagination, we can begin to observe external patterns and rhythms of the perceived dualistic reality and organize them into a workable model of universal impression and expression of all that exists. Einstein sought, through his genius, a Unified Field Theory (a unification of the General Theory of Relativity and Electromagnetism), or a Theory of Everything (explanation of all physical constants of nature without a basis of nature to be ‘fields’), that he never found in his lifetime.
Genius always desires to go one step further in order to discover the truth. It requires us to be committed and to act upon that commitment in a ‘timely’ fashion. When we move toward the realization of our desire to ‘know’ and ‘manifest’ it, it moves towards us concurrently; not because it actually ‘moves’, but because our awareness opens up from its possibilities into its probabilities.
Once we make the decision to open ourselves up to a greater perspective, things begin to happen that we hadn’t considered or even thought were possible. The secret to opening up to your inner genius is to start moving toward it NOW! Genius is fully actualized in being bold enough to trust in the Spirit of God and not get in the way of the manifestation of your Divine purpose being unfolded in Divine order.
Being a genius imbues many characteristics that are developed in you by making the choice to act on them at critical points in your life. Geniuses are NOT born, they are made as once stated by Dr. Alfred Barrious. He further stated that geniuses have 24 characteristics in common and each and every one of us can develop these traits in ourselves. Make that step toward unfolding your inner genius as Goethe revealed in the following statement: “Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness.
Concerning all acts of initiative and creation, there is one elementary truth the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favor all manner of unforeseen incidents, meetings and material assistance which no man could have dreamed would have come his way. Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin it now.” ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

ARE WE PERFECT?
Day after day, post after post and saying after saying we see the suggestion that we are not perfect. Is there honor in claiming that we are not perfect? Is it considered that claiming imperfection is being more spiritual? Or is it a subtle and low key suggestion that reinforces our perceived separation from the Divine? Being perfect means conforming absolutely to the description or definition of an ideal type; excellent or complete beyond practical or theoretical improvement; exactly fitting the need in a certain situation or for a certain purpose; entirely without any flaws, defects, or shortcomings; accurate, exact, or correct in every detail [dictionary.com].
When we allow the flow of Divine love to move through us we are conforming absolutely to the ideal of Divine love; as it flows through us we are the personification of excellence. We are exactly fitting the need for our Divine purpose to be manifested in Divine order. We are in the flow and any shortcomings, flaws or defects are no longer apparent and no longer distract us from our primary focus; sharing Divine love. We become accurate, exact and correct in every detail; we become the expression of Divine perfection.
When we listen to sayings, quotes and aphorisms that suggest or reinforce the fact that we are not perfect beings created perfectly by the Divine, we begin to develop inner beliefs that this is so. When we believe that we are not perfect, we will create ongoing expressions that reinforce those beliefs. Accept your Divine perfection and allow it to flow through you unfettered by the erroneous beliefs that we are not perfect beings created perfectly by the Divine to manifest our Divine purposes in Divine order. The acceptance and allowance of this is NOT ego fooling itself; it is Divine love relaying the truth to your being and bathing you with the essence of the Divine.
When you believe that you are not perfect it is the ego telling you this because it wants you to depend on it for its ‘wisdom’ and guidance. There is no wisdom with the ego; there is only knowledge and belief that is used to ensure your survival in the physical realm of existence. It you truly want to ‘realize’ and operate from the Spirit of God within you it is necessary for you to accept and allow your Divine perfection. If you don’t, you will continue to live from the ego’s guidance and continue in believing its deception that it is correct in believing your imperfection. The most effective tool the ego has is in the belief that you are ‘separate’ from the Divine. Your acceptance of this is the foothold it gains on maintaining the beliefs that you are imperfect as a being.
You are a spiritual being experiencing life in the physical realm in which you express your divinity through your body by your thoughts, beliefs, words, actions and behaviors. If you believe you are imperfect, then you will express that imperfection to match those inner beliefs. It you believe you are Divinely perfect, then you will express that perfection to match those inner beliefs. To enter the Kingdom of God the key is not in righteous and pious behavior, but by faithing in the perfection of Divine love. If you repeatedly separate yourself from Divine love by defending your beliefs that you are imperfect, then you are, in effect, separating yourself from living in the Kingdom of God.
The Kingdom of God is within you right now and it is the impression of peace and the expression of perfection. Be ye therefore PERFECT, as your Father in Heaven is perfect. Listen, believe and express Divine love; that is living in perfection. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
ARE WE LIVING IN
DIVINE LOVE?
How do you know when you are living from Divine love? When you give and share peace, understanding, joy and love with others even though you are going through the perception of personal hell.
Operating from Divine love means you forgive yourself and others for aberrant behaviors, you apologize to yourself for your reactions to those behaviors, you give thanks for your awareness in understanding you are Divine love and you share your blessings of Divine love with the entire omniverse.
Living in Divine love is our natural state of existence; if we perceive that we aren’t living in Divine love it is because our egos are very good at convincing us that we aren’t.
Listen to the Divine emanating Divine love from your heart. That is the true guidance we all need to be perfect in our expression of the truth into reality. Be ye therefore perfect! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
ARE WE ALREADY PERFECT?
You are only as perfect as you allow yourself to be. When you choose to ignore the perfection within you and defend falling short of it, it reveals that your ego is lazy, selfish and in command of you.
When you are living from the perfection of spirit you don’t gloss over details, you don’t dismiss things as being too trivial for your attention and you acknowledge the divinity within all. You identify with your inherent perfection and you strive to express it in every moment of your life.
Anything less than this is operating from the ego. Be ye therefore perfect and live from the perfection at the center of your being. You ARE ONE with the Divine. Live like it!!! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
ARE YOU LIKE A FIG TREE?
Are you always settling for less more than expecting the best? Are you so humble that you pass up fulfilling opportunities because you are trying to be ‘spiritual’? Do you care more about what others think about your behavior than what you need to do to fulfill your Divine purpose? If so, then it’s time for you to have a tune-up.
If you are consistently missing the obvious opportunities in your life for growth and expansion then you are out of alignment with Divine order. You are here for a Divine purpose and it is up to you to actualize that purpose.
When Christ encountered the fig tree that wasn’t fulfilling its purpose what did he do? Did he caress it and feel sorry for it? Did he beg God to forgive it and bless it? He cursed it! Why? Because it had been given everything freely from God and did not produce the fruit it was designed to create.
What would Jesus do if he encountered you? Would he caress you and feel sorry for you? Would he beg God to forgive you and to bless you? Would he curse you? You have been given everything freely from God through grace, love and free will to produce the fruit of your Divine purpose. Are you co-creating that right now?
If not, go within and listen to the still small voice of God and receive your tune-up. Align yourself with Divine order every day and reap the benefits of Divine communication. Return to God what he has so graciously given you without a diary of agony and a litany of grief.
If you are consistently saying ‘woe is me’ you are like the fig tree that is not producing the fruit you were created to express. Stop ‘performing’ for the world and be honest with yourself. ARE YOU FLOWING
DIVINE LOVE?
What does it mean to have Divine love ‘flowing’ through you? ‘Flow’, means ‘to issue or proceed from a source’ [dictionary.com]. In order for a ‘flow’ to occur, there has to be a source, a path and a destination; without any one of these, there is no ‘flow’. If Divine love is the source and we are the ‘path’, then our environment is the destination. We all are ‘channeling’ Divine love to a greater or lesser degree with every breath we take. But how do we know we are ‘flowing’ Divine love?
Our emotions are the indicators of our inner awareness of the flow of Divine love. If we are experiencing the ‘joy’ of the awareness and ongoing manifestation of our Divine desires, then our emotions will be ‘projecting’ that joy into our environment and matching experiences will be ‘reflected’ back to us. The same goes for experiencing the ‘anger’ and ‘frustration’ of the manifestation of the ‘yearnings’ of the ego; our emotions are then projected into our environments and we experience the matching reflections of those emotive thoughts.
If we are experiencing intense emotions we are fueling whatever thoughts we hold to be true. But what drives these emotions? Our deep and fertile desires! When we identify with either ego or Divine desires and add emotional fuel to them, we are aligning them with Divine order. Divine order ‘flows’ Divine love to ‘affect’ natural order. Thus, we get reflected back to us whatever we ‘intensely’ desire emotionally. Whether the source of the desires is the ego or Divine, the omniverse moves in response to the ‘intensity’ of the emotions seeking to fulfill those desires.
However, if you are experiencing emotions that are projecting ‘resistance’ to our desires, then what we are ‘resisting’ will be projected into our environment and it will be reflected in our subsequent experiences in our environments. In other words, whatever we ‘allow’ or ‘resist’ will become our realities. Accepting or rejecting thoughts, ideas and evaluations is a mental activity where we have no stake in the game. However, allowing or resisting those thoughts, ideas and evaluations involves ‘emotionalizing’ them into the co-creative process of manifestation.
If our cars have the ‘potential’ to get us from point A to point B, the only way it will get us there is if we have ‘fuel’ in the car and we get in and ‘drive’ it to our destinations. We, as the drivers, are like the mind and mental processes; it still requires the ’flow’ of the fuel to rev up the engine and create motion to our destinations by the guidance of our mental processes. The driver can either use GPS, maps or directions to get to the destination; however, the driver can also ‘feel’ the Divine guidance and arrive there as well.
Previous experience is a teacher of the environment and a learned understanding of our environments can summon the ‘flow’ of Divine love to give us Divine guidance. Our choice of which emotions to ‘attach’ to will determine the arrival at our destinations. If we choose to attach to the negative emotions of ‘frustration’ and ‘anger’, we are feeling that we have been treated ‘unfairly’ and it keeps re-occurring. If we hold onto these negative emotions and keep repeating them, we are co-creating the manifestation of the conditions in our environments to re-experience these negative emotions. Conversely, if we choose to ‘attach’ to the positive emotions of ‘happiness’ and ‘contentment’, we are feeling the ‘joy’ of life and that will keep re-occurring.
The degree to which we are experiencing the complete flow of Divine love will be reflected in our attitudes about life. If we experience joy in serving and helping others, we are co-creating that state within us. If we ‘look down’ on others for their ‘positions’ in life, we are co-creating that state within us of ‘resistance’; and subsequently we will repeatedly encounter the anger and frustration of dealing with those ‘feelings’ about others. We are what we think about; moreover, what we think and ‘feel’ about.
Our emotional attachment to our accepted thoughts, beliefs, feelings, actions and behaviors determines our individual ‘flow’ of Divine love ‘through’ us. If we choose to allow any negativity to pass though us without emotionally attaching to it, we will send it into oblivion. If we choose to resist any positivity passing through us without emotionally attaching to it, we will send it into oblivion as well.
If we choose to resist any negativity to pass through us, we are emotionally ‘attaching’ ourselves to it and it becomes a ‘part’ of whom and what we are. If we choose to resist any positivity passing through us, we are emotionally attaching ourselves to it and the state of its existence will not be a part of us. The process is actually quite simple; accept what is ‘good’ for us and ‘allow’ it to manifest. Reject what is ‘bad’ for us and don’t ‘resist’ it.
If we truly want joy, peace, understanding and the flow of Divine love though us, we will allow the complete fulfillment of health, wealth, prosperity and abundance to be our ‘reflected’ experience. Remember, it is our egos that ‘resist’ these states because ‘it’ wants to be in charge and pat itself on the back for its ingenuity in bringing these state about. Our egos are NOT our source; the Divine is. The Divine is NOT some anthropomorphic being outside of ourselves, but the dynamic expression from the static source of all creation; the Divine Infinite Creator known as the Spirit of God! ~Dean A. Are we all brainwashed by the ease of access afforded by our technological society? Do we expect instant gratification for reality because we have become accustomed to it virtually? Brainwashing is “a method for systematically changing attitudes or altering beliefs, originated in totalitarian countries; especially through the use of torture, drugs, or psychological-stress techniques. It is any method of controlled systematic indoctrination, especially one based on repetition or confusion: e.g. brainwashing by TV commercials. It is also any instance of subjecting or being subjected to such techniques: e.g. efforts to halt the brainwashing of captive audiences [dictionary.com].” It can also be referred to as being ’psyched’ out by someone who has a mesmerizing persona; a Svengali or Bible beating preacher.
These techniques mostly work because the person being influenced subconsciously ‘wants’ to believe these ‘things’ are true. An open mind can be both ‘good’ and ‘bad’ at the same time depending on a ‘gullibility factor’. Most people are gullible because they are too trusting of others or are naive to a deceptive person’s motives. Why? Because they do not know how to discern the behavior of others and cannot correctly judge their motives. When we were children we read children’s books, comic books or watched ‘super human’ movies. We fantasized about saving the world or being admired for helping others. This was our egos looking for recognition and admiration. As we grew up we came to learn how to be ‘human’ and deal with the adult world. In most areas of life we have done this except when it comes to our spirituality.
Many of us still read the religious ‘comic books’; the Bible and Quran or any other religious book that claims Literary Authoritarianism. We believe in these stories and accept them as true even though we have no concrete evidence to prove they actually transpired. We choose to have ‘faith’ and ‘believe’ that they existed because it comforts our egos and keeps us in mediocrity. Religious texts have become our ‘security blankets’ that we refer to when things go awry.
But why do we keep looking outside of ourselves for things that can only be found within? We are conditioned or ‘brainwashed’ by our environments to be compliant with our perceptions of reality. Perception of reality and reality are two different things! Reality exists as an extension of the omniverse just as we exist as an extension of it. Perception of reality is, in reality, a copy of reality that we process in our brains to have meaning for us. The seemingly ‘independent’ reality becomes subjective to our perceptions after they are ‘filtered’ through our individual belief systems for validity. If they don’t align with our rigid belief systems, whether or not some of the beliefs are accurate or erroneous, we reject or accept what we experience as being relevant or not relevant to our ego-guided self-survival mechanism.
We utilize our ‘copies’ of reality to determine what our next move will be based on our perceptions of reality and NOT reality itself. We have, in effect, been ‘brainwashed’ by our perceptions into ‘believing’ something and not caring whether it is true or not; let alone being valid or not! This is the point where we have brainwashed ourselves into believing that we are not being brainwashed. Our emotional security blankets have made us warm and cozy and we do not want to leave our comfort zones. Years go by and we marvel at what others accomplish and experience while we sit in the security of our own little bubble not even knowing what we are missing by experiencing the true joys in life.
Burst that bubble of being brainwashed into believing that what some ‘comic book’ says is the truth! Go within and KNOW the truth directly from the Divine and stop allowing your emotions embedded in your belief system to rule your life! Speak from the Divine instead of just believing. Do the greater works that Christ had spoken of and BE the Divine in action! It is our individual and collective destinies! ARE YOU ATTRACTING
OR ALLOWING?
There continually seems to be an ongoing debate about the reality of the Law of Attraction. Does is physically work? Do you broadcast energies that physically attract objects in space by the repeated thoughts and beliefs you hold as true? Or are you just a relay of energy that harnesses the invisible scaffolding of dark matter and dark energy that supports energy and matter? Could it be that these explanations are accurate or are they way off base?
It is more likely that what we explain as the experience of the LOA is in fact, the Law of Allowance. When something becomes focused in our awareness we think about it often. We repeat the process of thinking until these thoughts become beliefs. We begin to see opportunities for the realization of these thoughts and feelings. What is similar to this? Have you ever bought a car and drove it for a little while and you start to notice the same car wherever you go? You never really noticed it before because it wasn’t predominantly in your consciousness. Now that you have become accustomed to what you are thinking and feeling you notice the reflection of it more in your awareness.
By focusing on certain thoughts and feelings you now begin to observe events, occurrences, situations, circumstances and people that were always there doing their ‘thing’; you were not aware of these things because your focus was elsewhere. Whatever vibrations you generate from thoughts and feelings are what will be noticed in your experiences.
As you accept these experiences as being positive and supportive of your dreams, ambitions, goals and fulfillment of your Divine purpose, you become more and more aware of their occurrences in your life. Your acceptance of these vibrations create a state of allowance where you ‘clear the channel’ to living in your Divine purpose by less constricted access to the Divine love within you. As you live in Divine love manifesting your Divine purpose in Divine order, your experiences will reflect that inner alignment and it will ‘appear’ that you are a magnet that attracts things to you, when in actuality, it is you who has cleared your access to the inner channel of Divine love.
The omniverse exists as chaos moving into order by your observations, perceptions and actions within it. You are the magnifying glass that focuses the ever-present energies that exist independent of your awareness of them. As science has demonstrated time and time again, the interference of the observer affects the outcome of what is observed. You are the mechanism by which the omniverse observes and perceives itself.
Harness your thoughts and feelings to project that which you KNOW you want in your life and make the steps to co-create the actuality of those thoughts and feelings. ARE YOU BEARING
HEALTHY FRUIT?
Matthew 21:18-22 (KJV): “Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered. And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away. And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away! Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”
Are you bearing the fruits of your life and offering it to those who hunger? Do you spend each day making your leaves look pretty and not developing the content of your inner self in order to bear the fruits of an abundant life? When Jesus encountered the tree he was hungry and the tree could not supply his need. Did he bless the tree? Did he ignore it? No, he cursed it to no longer bear any fruit. Have you not been offering fruit for so long that when the opportunity for you to be blessed comes along that the only thing you have to offer is superficiality and not content? Jesus did not react. He pro-acted and the tree withered away to the marvel of the disciples. In their astonishment, Jesus clarified this event by telling them that they had the power, through faith and removal of doubt, to not only prevent superficiality, but to remove negative content from your life and the lives of others. After Jesus left the fig tree anyone who passed by would no longer be fooled by its superficiality because it was obviously dead and withered. He told the disciples to ask for their blessings in life through prayer in a state of believing and they would receive whatsoever they asked! Furthermore, he earlier warned the prophets to know false prophets by the fruits that they bear:
Matthew 7: 15–29 (KJV): “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.”
A good tree brings forth good fruit. Do Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly bring forth good fruit? Hardly! They bring forth anger and self-righteous indignation. Jesus furthermore said that a good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, nor can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. If a tree brings forth evil fruit then cast it into the fire. Remove it from your life and leave it to its own devices. Just as water seeks its own level, so will these angry and foolish people reap the rewards of their aberrant behavior. Don’t dwell on it or allow them to rent space in your head! Just as they proclaim and announce their righteousness, they are bearing the fruits of derision and anger. Jesus said that if they heard his word and didn’t do what he said, whether they professed him or not, they would NOT enter the Kingdom of Heaven. A wise man digs for the facts and does not rely on the opinions of others. He builds his house upon the rock. As a result, his house will stand. When a house is built on innuendo, opinions and anger, it will surely fall. Where do you stand? Are you building your house upon the rock? Or are you building you house upon the sands of opinions? Just as the people were astonished by the doctrine of Jesus, be astonished by the fact that Jesus spoke with authority. He KNEW the truth. He stated it, didn’t have to debate it or defend it.
It is important to keep your emotional state pure. Your emotional state affects your conscious control over your experience. Your resultant emotional state will determine the outcomes you receive in your life. Live and embrace anger, and your will encounter situations, time after time, that will trigger your anger. Don’t fool yourself by pretending that you are not angry or happy about something. Embrace your feelings in private and dig for the facts that bring you to that state. If you pretend to feel different, or ignore how you feel, you will create a vibrational state of in your being of acceptance to the things you do not desire. You basically feel powerless. Jesus told us that we HAVE the power to make mountains move! Why don’t you listen to him! Analyze the facts and take the steps to alter your feelings so that they align with the results you seek. As the old passes the baton to the new and gives way to paradigms of considerate awareness, we become aware of the older models' ‘excuses' for aberrant behaviors in the name of what we refer to as ‘business'. In its strictest sense, business is the purchase and sale of goods in an attempt to make a profit. In order to be in business one must either have possession of the goods or services or purchase them for resale. One then must market those goods or services to others having them readily available for sale.
The expression of these actions is the attempt at making a profit. Buy at a price; sell at a higher price; the difference is the margin of profit. Those who do well at this derive an inner sense of power from it and begin to expect this process to continue if they repeat the same steps ad infinitum. However, market conditions change and fluctuate like the wind and what was once the hot item becomes passé. Becoming accustomed to this process certain individuals allow their egos to take hold and look for ways to ‘milk' or ‘bilk' profits out of those less aware of these processes.
When you have just enough to pay your bills and not anymore to ‘enjoy' the ‘icing' in life, certain individuals through corporate veils find ways to take advantage of your lack of ‘disposable' income. Banks and their bean counters consciously and non-vociferously carry out their clandestine agendas of robbing you of your ‘disposable' income in order to increase their bottom lines in the name of ‘business'. The greed of the ego has taken reign over the ‘fairness' of treating customers with dignity.
The banks use your money each and every day making ‘day loans' to other banks and financial institutions and make millions that YOU never get an interest in or derive a profit from in the name of ‘business'. It is outright usury without compensation to the investors which in reality are each and every one of us! When people become aware of these activities some react violently and some react simply by withdrawing their monies from their banks.
When confronted with ‘check cashing fees' a teller once said to me, "Why are you complaining, everyone does it!" I responded with, "Because everyone does it, doesn't make it right." That is what greed has done to people. It makes them justify their aberrant behaviors just because everyone else does it. We need to stop allowing the banks and corporate business from bilking our disposable income with time sensitive fees and charges.
Most people reliably pay their bills and shouldn't be punished for the fact that they are behind at times. The reasons they are behind are not always mismanagement of their funds but untimely payments to them from businesses. Not everyone receives a paycheck every Friday. Some get their monies based on the businesses receivables of 30, 60 or 90 days. In this economy it has been stretched to 120 days sometimes.
Be considerate of the other person and their financial situations. Tell the banks to stop financially raping all of us with their petty fees and charges. Stand up for the dignity of all over the excessive profit of the greedy. Be honest and diligent in your business and take a fair profit for your goods and services WITHOUT taking undue advantage of others. This is what business is about; NOT greed! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
Indifference is an emotion that has its root in apathy. Apathy is derived from the suppression of passion and concern because of some traumatic emotional event(s) that have built up walls to effective interpersonal engagement. Indifference is a lack of concern due to the acceptance of mediocrity and established comfort. Apathy is being fully disconnected from Divine love and indifference is a separation from Divine love due to the acceptance and security of mediocrity.
Hate is a reaction to not feeling love from someone due to their interactions and the perception that someone else has hurt you. It is not accepting responsibility and passionately desiring to hurt them due to your perception that they have hurt you or ‘could’ hurt you.
Love is more of surrendering yourself to your internal passions of tenderness and devotion to your Creator, another or yourself. Hate is resisting and fighting whereas love is allowing and surrendering. Apathy is not having an emotional stake in one’s perceptions while indifference is any lack of passion for involvement at all.
Know where indifference and apathy come from as well as love and hate. See them for what they are and know that in Divine love you are nurtured, whole and perfect. Anything less than that is in the realm of the mind, the ego, your beliefs and your subsequent behaviors and interactions. Be ye therefore perfect! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
ARE YOU IN CONTROL?
When you insist that you can control things in your environment that are beyond your control it is your ego that is asserting command in your life. It is fooling you into believing that you are better than others, more capable than others and more deserved of the ‘things’ that you perceive you need in order to feel better about yourself. It is an illusion that you perceive in order to justify the existence of self.
When you spend your time looking at and living from SELF, you are more inclined to ‘move with the flow’ and ‘allow’ Divine order to move through you to effect positive change in your life. Living in an ongoing state of trying to control what is not controllable by self, in effect, separates you from the blessings of SELF; that which is your Divine purpose being manifested in your life.
When self is in command it co-creates the perception of ‘struggle’ in order to convince you that it is ‘victorious’ and that everything is a battle between what is perceived as ‘good’ and ‘evil’. It is sheer foolishness because in reality, you are only separated from SELF when self convinces you that you are. It is a game designed to make you more dependent on self than SELF. All of your blessings and ‘triumphs’ in your life are not because self made then happen; it is because SELF allowed them to happen to bring you to the awareness that you are a spiritual being first and a physical being second.
If you ignore the signposts on the road of life you might end up at a washed out bridge and cannot proceed any further. You cannot get to your destination until you turn around, go back the way you came and take another road. You would have not taken the wrong road to begin with if you had listened to SELF. SELF knows the correct path and you would have taken it if you had simply ignored self and listened to the correct guidance.
It is your choice to either listen to SELF or follow self’s insistence that it can control what it can’t control. Allow the current of the stream of life to gently and graciously guide you to the fulfillment of your Divine purpose in Divine order instead of trying to control that which is uncontrollable. Break the illusion that you HAVE to do SOMETHING; you don’t.
What you HAVE to do in order to become fulfilled is simply ALLOW it to happen by aligning yourself with your Divine purpose in Divine order. How do you do that? By getting out of your own way through squelching your perceptions that you can control events, situations, occurrences, circumstances and the behaviors of others to your advantage.
You are NOT in control; the Divine is. Allow Divine order to bring you ‘home’ to where you were created to be; now, and evermore. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
ARE YOU LIVING FROM
WITHIN OR WITHOUT?
There are many models of the expression of creation and we can use graphical representations to help us understand how things work in this vast universe. In the accompanying graphic we can use the symbology and nomenclature to help us get an idea of how it works. The graphic is based on a superimposition of the Divine expressions over the Jungian model. If we put the Spirit of God at the center of the pie chart expressing the energy of love into our universe we can see the manifestation of individual expressions as a result.
If we are extraverted we operate in the realm of Sensing to create Knowing. By tapping into Divine guidance through meditation we can begin to understand what we sense and come to a place of Knowing. By observing the unfolding of Divine order we can begin to understand what we are Sensing. After repeated observations and conclusions from sensing, we begin to think and feel according to what we perceive in our individual external environments; hence we are basically extraverted.
If we are introverted we operate in the realm of Thinking to create Being. By tapping into Divine will through meditation we can begin to understand what we think and come to a place of Being. By observing the unfolding of our Divine purpose we can begin to understand what we are Thinking. After repeated observations and conclusions from intuition, we begin to think and feel according to what we perceive in our individual internal environments; hence we are basically intraverted.
Whether we choose to live from within, without or both, the universe still operates according to laws and principles. Thoughts affect the Dark (unseen) Energy which in turn affects the Dark (unseen) Matter. Everything unseen molds and shapes what we perceive in a dualistic reality of expressed energy and formulated matter.
The Spirit of God and the ability to create is within each and every one of us right now. Feel the Divine order to understand Divine guidance. Think the thoughts of Divine will to understand your Divine purpose. After all, we are all One with the Spirit of God. We just need to realize it. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
ARE YOU LIVING IN DIVINE LOVE?
How do you know when you are living from Divine love? When you give and share peace, understanding, joy and love with others even though you are going through the perception of personal hell.
Operating from Divine love means you forgive yourself and others for aberrant behaviors, you apologize to yourself for your reactions to those behaviors, you give thanks for your awareness in understanding you are Divine love and you share your blessings of Divine love with the entire omniverse.
Living in Divine love is our natural state of existence; if we perceive that we aren’t living in Divine love it is because our egos are very good at convincing us that we aren’t.
Listen to the Divine emanating Divine love from your heart. That is the true guidance we all need to be perfect in our expression of the truth into reality. Be ye therefore perfect! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
ARE YOU MISTAKEN?
Mistakes are the perception that something was done in a manner that wasn’t appropriate, didn’t yield the sought after results or were emotionally expressed out of passion. The definition of mistake is “an error in action, calculation, opinion, or judgment caused by poor reasoning, carelessness or insufficient knowledge [dictionary.com]. It is the perception that an action was in error to bring about a desired and expected result.
What we might perceive as an error can yield the results we are seeking by allowing us to think we are doing the right thing when in fact we aren’t. We don’t always know the results of our actions and behaviors because we don’t see the entire picture. That’s why it is integral to spend daily time in prayer, meditation and service for us to become ‘in-tune’ with our Divine SELVES! That attunement to divinity affords us a direct channel to ‘understanding’ what we need to do and when we need to do it.
Our perceptions sometimes deceive us ‘purposefully’ in order for us to take the actions necessary to co-create our desired manifestation. If this is true, is there anything that is truly a mistake? Or is it that our perception tells us that it is a mistake when in fact it is NOT an error? Allow the Divine to guide your steps and don’t worry about mistakes.
Be ye therefore perfect by realizing that you are a child of the Most High and even if you perceive that you have made ‘mistakes’ that you are forgiven simply by asking for forgiveness. Don’t allow the commission of ‘mistakes’ to stifle your progress in life. Be focused on the end result and allow yourself to get there without judging your perceived ‘mistakes’ on your journey. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
