Because you see something in another person does not mean that it is a part of you. It could be a part of you that you have mastered, or it is simply something that you choose to believe is NOT good behavior. That does not mean that you are complicit in creating it; it means that you RECOGNIZE it for what it is and you choose to either react in anger or proact with love.
What you project does create your reality is true on the more subtle levels of awareness, but in reality your vibration does predicate your experience and if you choose to vibrate at a more loving level, you will be exposed to situations that will challenge your choice to live with love because YOU ARE AWARE OF THEM; not because YOU am creating them.
Judgment of behavior is not a bad thing; it is a tool we have been given to determine correct/incorrect behavior that has consequences. Questioning yourself is being responsible. Love can 'understand' and 'empathize' with why certain things exist, but it doesn't have to stand by and allow those things to exist either.
Blaming someone else for their aberrant behavior is projecting a discernment of that behavior, and it not necessarily a judgment of that behavior. Identifying where things are coming from affords us the possibility of effectively dealing with them by knowing that their source is from ego and NOT the Divine. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

PAYING RESPECT

The Creator brought you into this world through your Father and Mother and the Divine will take you out of this world in a manner that reflects how you love others.

How do we move ahead into a positive future as humankind? What do we need to do to make this world a better place in which to live, grow and expand? First, we need to be honest with each other and take a stand for the truth. Second, we need to understand that encouraging others to contribute their talents and abilities to the growth and expansion of us all is of paramount interest to not only our mutual survival, but the thriving of humankind as well. Thirdly, we need to point out the LIES of those who wish to control, dominate and manipulate us and make it punishable for them to use those lies to construct laws that constrict anyone from positive growth and expansion.
If you make a statement, then you must provide the verifiable FACTS to back up that statement or your ‘opinion’ will be dismissed as erroneous and the product of agenda manifestation. Lastly, we must not interfere in the choices and lives of others as long as those choices don’t infringe the rights of others to worship as they choose, live as they choose or make the choices that govern their lives according to their individual beliefs and feelings.
Until we can accomplish each one of the above points we are doomed to live under the veil of the collective ego and succumb to its insatiable desire to control, dominate and manipulate others to its own end. Take a stand for truth, unfolding individual purposes into the collective, identifying prevarication and allowing each other to follow the unfolding of each one of our Divine purposes in Divine order. ~Dean A. NEEDS TO SUCCESSFULLY
REINTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY
Understanding – Each person that commits a crime has to come to an understanding of the fact that they committed a crime and the reason why what they did is considered a crime.
Rehabilitation – Fulfilling their punishment for committing a crime is necessary for them and society to heal as a result of the crime they committed. They must learn during incarceration what behavior is acceptable in society and they must be trained and practice that behavior while in prison.
Motivation – They must be instructed in how to set goals and what steps are necessary to meet and exceed those goals. During incarceration they need to find their individual skills, talents and abilities and study how others mastered those abilities and develop a mindset that is confident in being successful in whatever field they choose to enter upon release.
Reprogramming – Each individual must learn that the reason they displayed aberrant behavior is because they were programmed through their reactions to family, friends and society that led to their individual beliefs that the only way they could survive was commit acts that were against the laws of society. They need to learn that they made improper choices in how to function in society.
Responsibility – They must learn that they are ultimately responsible for the crimes that they committed and after they serve their time, they should be reintegrated into society at a half-way house that monitors their progress and provides support, education and guidance. Society’s responsibility is to re-integrate former prisoners into the community by ensuring that employment, education and social opportunities are made available for them to succeed so that they can operate independently from societal monitoring.

When you love the divinity in someone else more than the behavior of their ego, it will awaken that spark of divinity in them when the time is appropriate for them to fulfill their Divine purpose in Divine order. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
FEAR
I’m sure all of you have heard of the acronym for FEAR as False Evidence Appearing Real. It is true that fear is an emotion you can experience within that can appear real to you. It is either a primary emotional reaction to an immediate perceived danger or a secondary emotion that arises after many other emotions are layered one upon another and create a state fear. The focus on what we fear can be evidenced in FDR’s greatest statement that “There is nothing to fear, but fear itself.” This statement implies it is only OK to fear the state of fear.
But is that truly a positive reaction? I will suggest a new term here. We need to TEAR down the walls of obscurity and see things as the Divine projects them into our perceived dualistic reality. True Expression Arranging Reality (TEAR) is in essence the Sprit of God moving the act of creation with Divine love into the dynamic condition of Divine order. In turn, Divine order moves natural order to implement the expression of Divine love into our perceived dualistic reality.
If you fear, you are not living in faith. If you are truly living in faith, you cannot fear. Faith and Fear cannot occur concurrently! We need to develop and maintain faith in God’s True Expression Arranging Reality to TEAR down the walls of obscurity and perceived illusion and not succumb to FEAR (False Evidence Appearing Real). When you live in truth you allow Divine order to implement your Divine purpose perfectly and you don’t interfere in the process of unfolding by fearing the results of your unfolding.
Call forth things and results that are not yet manifested as though they are manifested and Divine order will move natural order to make it so. And so it is! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
STOP MAKING EXCUSES
Now that you are awakened from your nightly slumber, what excuses will you make to NOT become what you were created to be? What distractions will occur to steer you off of focusing on becoming the REAL you? The telephone rings; is it a needy friend calling for help, a bill collector nagging you or some contrived emergency that you hadn’t anticipated? Did you forget about your morning medical test, doctor’s appointment or school meeting? Anyway, you rush off to put out fires and the most important time of the day for YOU is left behind. Your ego tells you, “it’s OK, I’ll meditate later.”
Excuses come pouring out and your whole day goes by without keeping the most important appointment in your life. It is the time you spend in solitude with the Divine Creator of the entire omniverse; the time where you immerse yourself in silence and peace. It is the only time you experience inner peace and listen to the Divine guidance custom tailored for YOU! The importance of this time to you is what determines the course of your life. Make it a priority.
Make yourself a priority. How can the measure of what you give to others mean anything when you won’t even give yourself inner peace? Spend a small segment of your day each and every day in Divine bliss. It will bathe your spirit with peace, understanding and joy that you can bring with you into your hectic day. Please, no more excuses. After all, you are totally worth doing what is necessary to maintain balance and order. You just have to do it and STOP making excuses! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
QUIT FOOLING YOURSELF
Be true to YOU. When you quit fooling yourself by listening to the demands of the ego you will come to know the Spirit of God. It is then, and only then, will you learn HOW to become what you were created to be. All else is foolishness, irresponsibility and selfishness.
Stop wasting your precious time on activities that don’t bear the fruits of love, dedication and co-creation of your Divine purpose in Divine order. You have been given the free will to choose which way to go. It is up to you to make the choice, travel the path and become fulfilled.
Living what others believe you should do will not get you there. Only when you get out of your own way and listen to Divine guidance will you arrive at manifesting your individual destiny.
Step boldly knowing you are guided by the Creator of the entire omniverse. With that type of action and guidance, you will never go astray. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
Do your run your own race? Or do your run the race that others have told you that you MUST run? Do you march to the beat of your inner drummer or do you step in line with what others THINK you must do? The more you come to understand exactly what you have been created to be, the clearer your inner sense of your Divine purpose will become and how to allow it to unfold in Divine order. However, many people identify with whom and what others, or some book, tell them who and what they are. Is this the correct way to Oneness with the Divine? Or is it a side road that leads you away from your Divine purpose? Only you can know that.
If you depend on what others say or what some book tells you is your Divine purpose, you have missed the point completely. You are allowing things ‘outside’ of yourself to govern your inner world of spirit. Your spirit is ever present and does not depend on some obscure definition contrived by someone who has shared their own experience with Divinity. In their sharing, they have used their own terms and understandings to express their experience in order to share the truth of that experience OR they are trying to manifest an agenda of creating a belief system that others can follow and support.
Take Scientology or Mormonism for example; contrived religions by charismatic egotistical individuals who elevated ‘their’ view to ‘the way it is’ as revealed to them by ‘intellect’ or God. Furthermore, let’s take the concept of the ‘Holy Trinity’. Is it real or contrived? Are there really 3 individual ‘spirits’ or is there only one Spirit of God? The Biblical scriptures are quite clear on this. Not once is it ever mentioned in the Bible because it was an invention of the Catholic Church. Yet many followers of Christianity swallow it hook, line and sinker because some charismatic preacher without sufficient knowledge of history told them it was so. They began to run that preacher’s race and NOT their own. Biblical scholars of the Catholic Church declared that the Bible was the ‘holy word of God’ and used it as weapon to hold over the heads of their constituents to become the ‘middle man’ between them and God. It is mass ego validation.
When the Divine reveals a path to you that leads to the truth, you have a choice based on your free will to either follow that path or follow the path of your ego. When you blatantly resist what has been agreed to by many historians whose true agenda is to relay the truth of how things really happened, it is your ego that is taking hold and NOT your inner spirit. You begin to run the race of your ego’s quest for self-survival instead of the Divine race of seeking out the truth. You will encounter one challenge after another until you ‘allow’ the spirit of truth to lead you to the truth. When you run your own race the only way you will win is if you don’t allow the distractions of others and their ‘opinions’ from influencing your decisions to stay on course.
The winner of a race leads the pack or is closest to the leader and paces themselves to overtake the leader at the appropriate time. ‘I’ll Have Another’, a past winner of the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness is a prime example. The horse was behind the leaders most of the race and won the race after the jockey made his move at the appropriate time to take the leading position. In reality, there is no race at all. Life is the unfolding of your Divine purpose in Divine order and it is YOU that either allows the influence of others or some book to become the key understanding in the unfolding of your purpose. Why go to a source outside of yourself when the Divine Spirit of God is within you right now? It is there speaking to you in the voice of silence; guiding and directing your thoughts, ideas, beliefs, words, actions and behaviors to unfold your Divine purpose in Divine order.
Make the time to listen, understand and follow that inner voice. It is the truth of spirit that reveals your Divine purpose. How do you know it is real and from the Divine? If it tells you to create experiences that contribute to the growth and expansion of all, then it is Divine in nature. If it tells you to create experiences that place your needs, wants, desires and expectations over the lives of others, then it is from the ego. Learn and practice discernment. It is one of the tools you have been given to balance out occurrences in your outer and inner environments. It is based on YOUR experiences and observations concerning your life; whereas judgment is based on your understanding of others’ experiences in their lives without you having knowledge of their individual experiences and observations.
It is not our job to judge others, but we can discern what is good for us or not. By daily and consistently aligning ourselves with the spirit of truth we come to learn the rules of living and we will begin to respond automatically to distractions from unfolding our Divine purpose in Divine order. Tune out the distraction and rhetoric of others and their personal and judgmental agendas and focus on manifesting YOUR Divine purpose in Divine order.
Run your own race. Make your own decisions. Be who you were created to be unfettered by the external distractions and conclusions of others. Only when you master this will you be able to live in the flow of Divine order and be joyous with the results. Peace and blessings to you and I hope you win the race! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
GOD VS. EGO
"In every moment you can be a host to God or a hostage to your ego." ~Dr. Wayne Dyer quoting from ACIM. Now I will include an ACIM explanation of this: “Chapter 11 ~God vs. Ego. What's your name? Who's your Daddy? ~Time of the Season, The Zombies. Either God is insane or the ego is insane. Which would you bet on? Remember, the "ego" is the part of you that believes it is separate from God and has created a world to prove it. At least, it thinks it has. But it is impossible to create anything that isn't Whole, Eternal, Loving, and Joyful, so this world exists only in our dreams.
We can only see one world at a time: God's or the ego's. The ego is nothing more than a delusional system. The ego creates by projection (projecting a world without God), and God creates by extension (extending His Love to all His creation). The more you approach the center of God's thought system, the clearer His Light becomes. The closer you come to the ego's thought system, the way becomes darker and more obscure.”
Now this paragraph says that the ego has created a world to prove it. In a sense it has, but many ACIM’ers take this literally. The ego creates an ‘assumption’ of the world but NOT the world itself. It states that the ego thinks it has. In actuality, the ego has created its ‘impressions’ of the world and NOT the world itself. It further states that it is impossible to create anything that isn’t Whole, Eternal, Loving and Joyful and that this ‘world’ exists in our dreams. HOGWASH!!! This world that we experience in mutual sensory agreement is real in the sense that it is a projection from the Source Creator. The passage next says that the ego ‘projects’ a world without God and that God ‘extends’ His love into His creation.
The ego only reacts to perceived projections from the ONE source. Love is the ‘projection’ that ‘extends’ itself into the creation of all that exists. Some ACIM’ers take this as only the ego projects this reality into existence and this couldn’t be farther from the truth. It is close to it, but does not ring true when interacting with quantum physics. If you are a hostage to your ego you believe that just because certain revelations have become apparent to you that they are correct. If you are a host to God you understand that all the revelations come to you are in line with your understanding of reality.
The observer affects the experiment just by observing it! Just as the channeler of ACIM used what she had received and explained it within the framework of HER belief system and the terminology SHE understood. In many things she is spot on except in some critical areas. Her ramblings have led several generations astray from the center of truth simply be her speaking with authority and others accepting what she has said as the gospel truth. I took a stand again last week and explained about what I discovered after I turned over the ACIM rock. As a result, my dear friend on FB defriended me after vehemently defending ACIM. If you take anything positive at all away from the ACIM training, it is that God is a God of love AND understanding. Defending a book and what it says over a friend you have associated with for a couple of years, to me, is ludicrous. As I have said before, I don’t agree with many ‘explanations’ revealed in ACIM. However, I do like the feeling of love it shares.
I will miss my friend and her musings; however, I will not back down to what is so obviously and blatantly misleading to people I respect and care about. That’s why I take stands on what is revealed to me. If people don’t agree, they can discuss it or they can leave. It is their choice. Always be careful when receiving second hand information from a spiritualist, spiritual teacher or minister. Go to the source YOURSELF and discover YOUR inner truth. After all, you live in a world that we have ALL created because we are ALL individualized expressions of the Most High! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
If you think something is right, check it out first. Is it a good idea or is it an accurate observation? If you believe something is right, validate if it ‘feels’ good or not. If you speak something that you say is right, make sure it is not only true but can be validated.
If you know something is right, make sure that it is right for others. If your being resonates with your thoughts, beliefs, feelings and words, your actions and behaviors will reflect what you feel inside. Make the time to get to know the inner you.
Set a date every day to spend in quiet time with the Divine Creator. Your thoughts, beliefs, feelings, words, actions and behaviors will soon align with Divine order and reveal your inner Divine purpose.

Our Daily Reading for May 11th -
"Pt. 1 of 2: "If Your Feet Are Firmly On Your Spiritual Path Keep Moving. If Not? GET OUT OF THERE!"

Do you have a past, present and future? Or are you just able to string one moment to the next in your brain like a frame in movie to create what appears to be movement in a direction? If that is so, then time is no more than a sequence of events that you perceive unfolding one after another in the space that you occupy. Some scientists say that time is an illusion and some say that space is an illusion.
What seems to be closest to the observable truth is that what exists in the perceived dualistic reality is what is called space-time. Combinations of elemental particles of what appears as matter (or the most dense energy) congeals to a common state of physical being by the gravitational pull of dark matter, or the substance that we cannot sense that holds our physical bodies together. It is called dark matter because it behaves as particles in gravity and we cannot sense it; hence ‘dark’. Combinations of elemental waves of what appears as energy (or the least dense matter) is a result of a mysterious force that we cannot sense that separates energy from matter based of its density and is known as dark energy. It is called dark energy because it behaves as waves of energy and we cannot sense it; hence ‘dark’.
The relationship between energy and matter is described in Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity (E=mc2). This formula reveals that if you accelerate the mass of an object of matter to the velocity of light squared it transforms into energy; or that there is an equivalency between matter and energy. Matter is nothing more than the densest form of energy and energy is the least dense form of matter. The unseen ‘objects’ and gravity from those objects of dark matter (or the appearance of those objects with mass and density) and the unseen forces of dark energy are all illusions that we perceive to be real. Everything that ‘occurs’ in space-time creates an electro-chemical ‘copy’ in our brains from what we sense. It is NOT the object or force but a copy of that object or force that we perceive as being real in the 3 dimensions (length, width, depth) of space and 1 dimension of time.
Some scientists say there are 9 or 10 dimensions of space and one of time (String Theory) and some say there is only one dimension that appears to be multi-dimensional space-time. Whatever ‘reality’ may be, we are inextricably tied to it simply because we perceive it; whether it is an illusion or a finite set of rules and principles that govern a physically perceived reality. We are immersed in this cosmic soup that we call reality and we affect it just as much as it affects us. We might not perceive our affectations, but they do exist since we co-create perceptions of events in the perceived dualistic reality.
The perceived dualistic reality is the range between extremes of black and white, cold and hot, closer and farther. It is a projection of polarity where energy and matter co-exist perceptually within the soup of dark energy and dark matter that we don’t perceive. Time is a construct of the existence of the perceived dualistic reality which affords us the ability to measure the unfolding and refolding of existence within our perceptions or existence. When we become totally aware of this moment, or when we are ‘being here now’, we are timeless. Yes the perception of time continues outside of us but the reality of timelessness within us becomes readily apparent.
It is in this moment of the now that everything that has ever existed, that is existing now and ever will exist are one in our timeless perception. It is within our grasp to tune in to this moment and ‘feel’ the information revealed from the very act of existence and affect the outcome of the course of subsequent events that occur from this moment. This means that we CAN co-create our ‘reality’ by being aware of our ability to do so and then directing our thoughts (energy) to affect the creation of objects (matter) in the perceived dualistic reality.
Being here now and living in the now from moment to moment is really all we have. It is the time where an external illusion of time exists concurrently with an internal reality of timelessness; a vortex, so to speak of energy and matter. Make the ‘time’ each and every day to meditate on the now. Experience the timelessness and presence of the Divine within your being.
Feel the omnipresence, omniscience, omnipotence and omniparience of the Creator of the entire omniverse and use your ability to co-create your reality from these Divine attributes. After all, we are all children of the Most High Divine Creator of the omniverse and we have the ability to co-create ‘our’ reality from the gift of Divine grace and expression of Divine love. ~Dean A. OBSERVATION
We can change the expression of reality just by observing it. Our participation in the unfolding of ongoing creation and re-creation modifies the results.
Are you participating in expressing a reality that contributes to the mutual growth and expansion of all? Or are you relenting to a perception of powerlessness and resisting the co-creation of the mutual good for everyone?

GETTING HURT
Some people ask themselves, “Why am I so nice to everyone when I always end up being hurt?” It is because you are aware enough to know that it is the behavior of love and that's what you were created to share.
Getting hurt means you are in touch with your feelings and you know how to 'feel' your way through life. It means you know how to experience life to the fullest.

HAPPINESS IS
Happiness is recognizing that everything is managed efficiently by the Divine for the good of all and allowing that good to flow through you each and every moment of your life.
Immediate gratification is selfishly ego based and has nothing to do with the essence of happiness.
Being nice is the expression of experiencing true unconditional love and being mean is being selfishly ignorant of the fact that the Divine is present within all of existence. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

My intuition always guides me to love and there is NO pretending to be happy. My happiness comes from knowing that the Divine is in complete control of everything. Being nice is an expression of that love and understanding and there is nothing FAKE about that.
I am balanced and loving every time I recognize that the Divine moves me to realize my Divine purpose in Divine order. I seek not to please others by being a 'people pleaser'. The still small voice always guides me to be at the right place, at the right time and with the right people to unfold my Divine purpose in Divine order.

BEING NICE
I never worry about being nice. I am when I feel the Divine love within naturally. I never try to impress anyone by being nice. I just enjoy being nice because I feel Divine love within me. That is being authentic.
Being nice just to be nice without feeling where it originates is not being authentic. When I choose to operate from Divine love it comes out of me by being nice.
When I choose to reveal someone who is out for themselves only, I might not be nice at all. It depends on whom and what they are saying and whether they are lying or telling the truth. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
REMOVE THE COVER
No matter how bright a light is it will never be seen when it is covered by something. What blocks the light is something that will not allow the light to pass through. It is dense and immutable. It is forged with the properties that reflect the light back to itself creating chaos and confusion within the covering. When the covering’s opacity becomes translucent, it reveals the light but the light is still filtered by the inherent properties of the covering.
Much the same occurs when we purge erroneous beliefs and allow the Divine Light to pass through us and reveal its inner beauty. The simple act of daily meditation slowly removes the opacity to reveal the new translucency of the covering. We all have coverings of the spirit that we hold on to; it is up to us to clean that covering to allow the guiding light to shine through and be a beacon of expectancy to others.
When you lead by example you allow your inner light to guide yourself and others. Be a light unto the world and allow the world to see that within them is the same light that is within you. Peace and blessings to all of the movable light houses (workers) in this world. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
