A friend here on FB just relayed a story about dropping her son off at school this morning. She repeatedly told her son how much she loved him.
Her reaction exemplifies most parents' behavior during these trying times. We all need to act to end this senseless violence. Our fear of terrorism has turned our own people into terrorists.
It's time for all of us to smarten up and create an atmosphere of trust and certainty instead of fear and ignorance. We now need to live in an everlasting peace; together, we can all bring it about.
It will take everyone to learn just how to love each other for whom and what they believe; no matter how different we are from one another we are all human! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
Whatever any one of us believes is a result of what makes us feel comfortable and secure in knowing what underlies those beliefs. We become secure in the knowing that our beliefs are justified, valid and true. In reality, that is our individual experience ONLY and not anyone else’s. We can convince others of our experiences and if they ‘believe’ them to be true and valid, they might adopt those beliefs as well. However, those beliefs will not be ‘real’ to them unless they experience the underlying feelings that are associated with experiencing the results that crafted those beliefs.
There is no substitute for actual experience in generating feelings that underlie our beliefs. We can convince ourselves of the truth and validity of others’ beliefs but they will not become a part of whom and what we are unless we are challenged by the experiences that created them initially. Our individual perceptions coupled with our individual pre-programmed experiences create feelings that ‘react’ to situations, occurrences, circumstances, events and the behaviors of people.
If we operate solely from our egos we feel threatened by our experiences in maintaining our individual self-survival. If we operate from the Spirit of God within we learn to proact maturely by allowing our egos’ reactions to pass through us without attaching any emotions to them whatsoever. Our stake in the game moves from self-serving to all-serving. We come to the realization that we are connected with all of life and our reactions affect our environments just as much as our environments affect us. It becomes paramount for us to regularly discharge erroneous beliefs that don’t serve others and ourselves.
As a result, we align ourselves with Divine order in a serendipitous and synchronistic fashion that co-creates our expected desires in the flow of natural order. Releasing our attachment to our beliefs and allowing the flow of Divine order to move through us becomes automatic and we thoroughly experience the expression of health, wealth, prosperity and abundance each and every day of our lives. ~Dean A. What is the role of the Director in a motion picture production? “They control a film's artistic and dramatic aspects, while guiding the technical crew and actors. Directors are responsible for overseeing creative aspects of a film under the overall control of the film producer. Together with the producers, directors develop a vision for a film. Once this vision is developed it is then the director’s job to carry out the vision and decide how the film should look.
Directors are responsible for turning the script into a sequence of shots. They also direct what tone it should have and what an audience should gain from the cinematic experience. Film directors are responsible for deciding camera angles, lens effects and lighting with the help of the cinematographer and set designer. They will often take part in hiring the cast and key crew members. They coordinate the actors' moves and also may be involved in the writing, financing and editing of a film” [Wikipedia.com].
What is your role as the Director in your life? You guide your learning, formulation and expression of the artistic and dramatic aspects while guiding yourself to carry out technically what you need to do and what you need to ‘act as if’ you could do. It is the combination of observing and replicating learned behaviors and the ability to imagine what you could ultimately ‘do’ with your life.
As you oversee the creative aspects of your life you have to produce your desired results; that is the job of the producer. “A film producer oversees and delivers a film project to the film studio or other financing entity, while preserving the integrity, voice and vision of the film. They will also often take on some financial risk by using their own money, especially during the pre-production period, before a film is fully financed. Many film producers also obtain competency in other fields (directors, screenwriters, actors) but that is not always the case.
The producer is often actively involved throughout all major phases of the filmmaking process, from inception and development to completion and delivery of a film project. However, an idea or concept for a film can originate with any individual, including a screenwriter, a director or a producer” [Wikipedia.com].
As you direct and produce your ‘production’ of your life, you develop an inner ‘vision’ of what you want to manifest in order to feel fulfilled. As the Director, you develop methodologies to implement the co-creation of your ‘production’ in an efficient and effective manner in order to accurately ‘reflect’ the desired ‘vision’ in the real world.
As the Director, you turn the written ‘script’ of your life into a sequence of events that sets the tone and pacing of the unfolding or your Divine purpose in Divine order. You utilize and implement the right approaches to manifesting by expecting them to unfold perfectly in Divine order. As the Director you also choose who is involved in your ‘production’ by whether or not they know how to support you in your endeavors. You direct the unfolding by allowing the guidance of the Divine to steer your course. In this way, you will eventually ‘produce’ the desired results that you seek.
As the Producer of your ‘production’, you market your ‘production’ to those who will help you advance it to the point that it will produce a livelihood for you. Every day we direct and produce our lives and the current situations we are in reflect just how much effort we have put into both aspects of co-creation. Is your life yielding the results that you seek? Is it a production that others want to see and experience? Does the marquee have an announcement of when you will premiere your production? Or does the marquee have no letters on it and the lights are turned off?
Your life is a production of hills and valleys that culminate in a complete expression of whether or not you are expressing your Divine purpose in Divine order. Are you making a movie that you are proud of and want to show others? Or are you content in your movie being shelved in the archives as a life lived without revealing the song in your heart? A PROJECTION?
If life is only a projection of an illusion, does it matter what end of the spectrum we use to describe it? If the results of life are a reflection of the projection, then the inherent process is revealed from the action to the reaction, isn’t it?
When we accept what we believe is true without discerning the agendas of those ‘presenting’ the truth, we are fooling ourselves and allowing our understanding to fall into complacency.

There is a difference between judging another for their behaviors that you aren't expressing and you projecting those behaviors on another for you to judge them and feel superior for the fact that you have overcome them. What you project will reflect off of others. What reflects does not project; it simply reveals what is ‘there’ by their reactions and what is NOT in you. The next time some ACIM'er or misguided new thoughter tells you that the reason you recognize aberrance in others because it exists within you, tell them this: BULLSHIT!!! You can recognize aberrance for what it is without it existing in you.
If you recognize a murderer for being a murderer doesn't mean that you are a murderer. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, Sigmund. Remember, anything that is channeled by a human being is subjective to their own beliefs and experiences and not purely Divine. That goes for anything anyone (including myself) says or does.
We are all manipulated by our own egos even when 'channeling' the truth. Take what you need from what is said and if it chokes your going down then there is a reason for it. Just because some book or some teacher tells you 'that's the way it is' doesn't mean it is. It means that they 'believe' that's the way it is and they want you to believe the same.

LOOKING AT REALITY
A friend just posted a placard that said, “Nobody blames cars for drunk driving.” I responded with, “Nobody blames rocket cars for breaking the high speed record either!” and then followed with, “Nobody blames tanks for blowing away hundreds of soldiers!” Let’s look at the reality though. If a drunk driver gets into a vehicle to drive, we say that he/she is ‘impaired’; much like someone with mental health issues. Should we provide easy access for mentally ‘impaired’ people to get ASSAULT WEAPONS much like a drunk driver has easy access to his car? Both can kill several people at once. Hunting DOESN”T require ASSAULT WEAPONS!!! What does?
Killing many people at once is the ONLY reason that ASSAULT WEAPONS were invented. Don’t let any gun nut, NRA proponent or mouthy imbecile try to tell you otherwise. Freedom of owning guns by the Second Amendment was to form a MILITIA in case we were attacked again by the Brits or OTHER hostile invader; THEY WERE NOT MEANT TO KILL OUR OWN PEOPLE IN A SLAUGHTER-LIKE FASHION!!! Whoever doesn’t see this truly needs to brush up on their history and learn to stop living in fear.
It seems that as of late many Americans live from the LEAST amount of information possible and reacting from their emotional ‘gut’. Now, more than ever, our schools need to be teaching our children CRITICAL THINKING and our adults need to take some college classes in LOGIC!!! Not to change the way that they ‘think’ but to teach them HOW to think things through based on the facts and NOT some bonehead’s opinion. Wake up, America! HOW MANY YEARS?
Something interesting happens to you when you realize that you have fewer years ahead of you than you have behind you. All of what has happened to you and worried you in the past falls away when you come to terms with the mortality of your body.
One day, you will wake up dead in your body and completely alive in your spirit. Why not be completely alive in your spirit right now; in this very moment? Come to terms with your mortality and come to terms with your immortality as well.
You are an infinite spirit living in your body and when your body ceases to exist, you will carry on as spirit. Fear not what the body tells you is ‘good’ or ‘bad’.
Have faith in your spiritual connection and what it guides you to do and when to do it. Trust completely in the Divine and live in the truth; you will not feel fulfilled until you do. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
When we perceive that everything is falling apart and our lives are being ripped apart at the seams our ego has a tendency to ask, “Why?” It asks why because it perceives that it is in control of our experiences. The ego looks to its accomplishments and forged relationships to secure its own validity.
When things seem to be unraveling and not going our way, our egos are at a loss as to why this is happening. But exactly, why IS this happening? Because the Divine is leading us to something better! We will get there when we let it all go. We are not in control; God is! When we allow the Divine to lead our spirits unconditionally, we will arrive at our destinies.
When we stop trying to steer we ALLOW the Divine to guide us. Hand over the wheel, sit back and enjoy the ride. The winds of change will lead us into our growth and expansion of our spirits. It is the way the Divine works in the omniverse.
Observe the masterpiece and learn how it all works. We exist because the environment of the omniverse has grown and expanded into us. We are the Divine expressing itself as each and every one of us individually and collectively.
When we stop resisting the current and allow the presence of the Divine to flow through us is when we are gently led to safe shores. Let go and let God; that is the way to your Divine destiny! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
GENERATING FEAR
Okay, so let’s listen to a civilization who committed human sacrifice to appease their ‘gods’ (the Mayans). Let’s misinterpret what they said and sensationalize it to generate fear. Let’s realize that instead of knowing the facts that their king was supposed to return in the year 4722 C.E.; we went along with the ‘story’ of the ‘end of the world’. We have seen the results of that one, haven't we?
Let’s diss that now and begin to look for a ‘Rapture’ in the sky. Let’s all live in fear that we need to be righteous to ‘rise up in the air’ with Christ. Let’s miss his message of divine grace completely because of the invented stories (the Holy Trinity for one) invoked by the Catholic Church and perpetrated on the masses. Let’s believe the Protestant Eschatologists that claim the ‘end of the world’ is near. The same group led by the anti-semitic Martin Luther who blamed the Jews for killing Christ and demanded that they be relegated to the status of second-class citizens.
Let’s take up our swords and slash away at all who were branded by the Apostle Paul as aberrant; slaves, gays and those who didn’t believe Paul’s Gospel (not the Gospel of Christ). Let’s do everything that some book or some delusional preacher has taught us to do EXCEPT listen and follow the words and the heart of Christ. Let’s all stand with our limited knowledge of reality and forego all wisdom in favor of our beliefs. Let’s continue to childish in our spirituality and keep separating ourselves from the Divine. Sounds like a description of human history up to this point.
If we are truly in the “Age of Aquarius” and in the New Millenium of collectivism, then we need to start growing up in our spirituality. It’s time to leave the childish thinking behind and become an adult. It’s time to let go of the criticisms, attacks and agenda setting of those who defend their egos like they are God. It’s time to be more aware of others instead of just ourselves. It’s time. It's time to respect all people no matter what sex or race they are, beliefs they espouse or lifestyles they may live.
Make the move and become whom and what you were created to be and integrate your talents, skills and abilities into the whole of humanity to facilitate our rising up to the level of Divine love for ALL! The time has been long coming and it’s our time; time to stop the slaughters and killings of the innocents, time to STOP defending the aberrance of our twisted egos and time to commit to the expression of Divine love, now and evermore. We can do it.
The human spirit is the essence of the Divine and the Divine created the entire omniverse for us to grow and expand into our awareness of Divine love. We must step out of our comfort zones and into the challenges that are coming. Challenges for world peace, mutual respect and the implementation of Divine love to every living being we encounter. We ARE the cutting edge of Divine consciousness being expressed into the Perceived Dualistic Reality. We are the co-creators in this reality and it is up to us to act responsibly in the co-creations that we manifest.
The real message of life is Divine love. It is the time we share, care and smile more. We need to carry this feeling with us throughout each day of the next year. Carry the message that no matter what, we are loved. Out of all of creation we are successful in the fact that we are living beings experiencing an awareness of Divine love. We are truly blessed. CHANGING RAPIDLY
In a recent post by a friend it says “What you see in others exists in you.” I don't agree with this because what you see in others 'might' have existed at one time in you or what you see in others is something that you NEVER wanted to exist in you. This statement is a guilt trip and to me, highly inaccurate.
My friend responded with, “If you see it, you still have it in you, and if you forgive the other guy his faulty belief, your belief is forgiven as well. You don't see your faults. They're in the mind. But, projection offers you and opportunity to forgive yourself by forgiving the other. O.K., but I still think it has to be in you to see it. Believing is seeing. You see it, you believe it. That's how Jesus saved the adulteress. He knew all about projection. He asked the Rock throwers if they had any sin, and whoever didn't could throw the first stone. They all left and Jesus forgave the woman! That whole Parable was about projection and forgiveness!”
My response to him was, “Did Jesus have sin within him? He said to those of you WITHOUT sin, cast the first stone. They couldn't because they had all sinned in 'SOME' way; not necessarily in the same way as the adulteress! Just because you recognize a 'sin' or 'aberrance' doesn't necessarily mean you are 'projecting' that. If I see someone murder someone else I am NOT projecting them to murder ANYONE!!! I am recognizing their aberrance for what it is because I KNOW what it is from its reflection; NOT because I am projecting it!” ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
A LETTER FROM A FRIEND
"Thank you for an honest piece of writing today Dean. I'm a teacher (22 years now) and my heart aches so much for these innocent children, the faculty at Sandy Hook Elementary and their families. When I walked to my classroom the Monday after this tragedy, my perspective about our country and the world had changed. I have been extremely sad about Sandy Hook and have talked it over repeatedly with other educator friends and family members, and my gut instinct is to want more gun control in our nation.
I get attacked by many people who are gun owners for my feelings but I don't see the positive outcome of others owning guns with having unstable family members and friends around them. Nobody can "guarantee" that a gun owner's home will be safe with the thought of other disturbed or unstable family members or friends obtaining access to these guns.
However, no matter how much I am attacked by those who believe in the second amendment, I will "stick to my guns" about "wanting more gun control" because I don't understand the thinking of others who want to shoot innocent animals or people and have an arsenal of artillery in or around their homes.
My heart is completely broken over the tragedy in Newtown and I will do my part in working for more police and stronger awareness of who comes and goes at school campuses along with opting for stiffer gun control laws. Hope you and your family enjoy the delight of Christmas today."

They are for the forming of a militia to defend one's community against attack; not to leave the gun cabinets unlocked and allow an unstable individual to commit an aberrant act. Let's get real, people: If you choose to have a gun in your home you are living in fear and NOT living from the Spirit of God.

Don’t follow its lead for it will lead to your undoing all that you have learned.
Humbling yourself in the Spirit of God brings you home. It bathes you with Divine love and guides you to the realization that no matter what your ego tells you, it ain’t all that! Going within and tapping into the well of spirit nourishes your being with health, wealth, prosperity and abundance.

PRAY FOR THE SOLDIERS
Please say a prayer for all of the soldiers in the world who are on duty to protect the peace of this world. They are on duty, physically separated from their families and spiritually connected to all of us.
Send them all of your love and thanks for their dedication and sacrifice that they have made for all of us. Visit their families at their homes and reassure them that they are appreciated for their service to all of us.
Let them know they are loved. May there be an everlasting peace on earth where no soldier ever has to be separated from their families again.

BEING DISRESPECTED?
When someone disrespects you there is a choice you have to make. To point it out and state how you wanted to treated or say nothing. If you say nothing, you are creating the space for you to become a victim once again. If you say something, then you have made it quite clear how you ‘expect’ to be treated.
If they violate you again, then you have the same choice to point it out or do nothing. Being a forgiving person does not mean that you become a doormat for the egotistical ignorance and lack of class demonstrated by others. It simply means that you forgive them for their lack of the awareness that they have in regard to you AND you put a stop to it from ever happening again.
If it means that you no longer have contact with them, then so be it. Choose to live, work and play with those who respect you or you will be always dealing with the shortcomings of others and not enjoying the beauty which is YOU! Peace! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

CREATING EVIL?
Do we create evil in others? Do we have our inner demons that we wrestle with and keep at bay? Do we project negative behaviors on other when we recognize their aberrant behaviors? Or do we simply and innately know what's right and wrong and choose which direction to take for ourselves?
If we listen to the ego, we will judge another because we want to feel good about ourselves. If we listen to the Spirit of God, we drop our stones realizing that we have made mistakes before and that we have learned from them. It doesn’t mean that we are projecting evil into another so that we could recognize it; that is sheer and utter foolishness.
It is egotistical at best. The world does not revolve around us and others don’t exist for our entertainment. Reflect good back to those who demonstrate aberrance and perhaps they will see the good within them and choose to project that instead of aberrance. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
LITERARY AUTHORITARIANISM
When you choose the information from a book that you have emotionalized as knowledge over the sharing of a friend who bares their soul to you, it is you ego that is uncomfortable with the possibility that what you believe is true knowledge is not.
True wisdom is the letting go of ALL knowledge to embrace the revelations of the spirit within. It is discarding what someone else has experienced and written down in favor of what the Spirit of God has revealed to you. You might ask, “How do I know it is from my spirit and not my ego?”
The answer is simple; if it contributes to the growth and expansion of all and NOT just yourself then it is from the spirit. If it is only concerned about your edification then it is from the ego.
Discern correct action from correct thinking and emotional maturity. Only allow what works for all to be the reflection that you perceive. Anything else is selfishness and NOT mutual edification. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
THE CALL OF DUTY
Do you go beyond the call of duty? Do you make those extra steps to ensure that you have done a great job for your clients, friends or family? If you have, do they appreciate it? Or do they just ‘expect’ you to do the best or try to berate you into believing that you have done the least? Whenever anything at all gets created there is a process of unfolding. As things unfold people react differently to the ‘things’ that the either don’t understand or that they ‘assumed’ you were going to do for them or on their behalf.
This omniverse is a precise clock that ticks forward whether you perceive it or not. If you want specific results in your life you need to follow specific instructions to co-create those results and have the awareness to perceive them. What are those instructions? They are the guidance you receive from the Divine in understood silent words or still images. The solution to everything in your life lies in the Divine projection of those words or images onto the stage of your mind. How you react to those words and images reveals just how much you pay attention to them. How you proact from them reveals just how much you TRUST in the Divine!
If you dismiss the Divine guidance you are receiving then situations will keep re-occurring until you listen and obey. It is your ego that chooses to dismiss what the Divine is revealing to you because it needs to feel secure in itself and be the boss of your life. It HAS to be in charge to validate itself and its perceived existence. Remove the steering wheel from the ego and it will go into a fit. Why? Because it validates itself by being in charge and patting itself on the back for its ingenuity in controlling, dominating and manipulating others. Its view is limited at best and it drives your behaviors to support its view.
When you take off the blinders of the ego and completely trust in the Divine, something extraordinary happens. The heavens don’t part and rays of sunshine break through; you feel at peace within you NO MATTER WHAT goes on outside of you! You learn how to maintain your inner peace and Divine focus despite the outer chaos of the world. You move gradually and gently through the unfolding of your Divine purpose in Divine order. There is NOTHING miraculous that occurs; the outer world is unfolding and expressing natural order as it always does but now it is YOU who have changed.
It is you who have balanced your perceived needs with the inner guidance of the Creator of this entire omniverse. It is the process of moving from ‘you’ perceiving that ‘you’ are in control to completely understanding that it is ‘YOU’ that is in control. Allow that greater YOU to take the steering wheel and watch what happens! Watch the unfolding of the beauty within you into the outer world. Be ye therefore perfect! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
