Manipulating the flow of factual information for one’s own benefit is selfishness, self-aggrandizement and sheer ego. It stems from the internal conclusions and subsequent beliefs that they are better than everybody else and that they are ‘entitled’ to be treated differently; in a favorable and ‘special’ manner. This is implied ‘favoritism’ fostered by the yearning for separation; in order to differentiate between them being ‘special’ and someone else ‘not’ being special.
Ego will lie, cheat and steal to protect itself from harm. It is NEVER in the wrong and will always blame others for its mistakes. It is a necessary part of whom and what we all are, but it needs to be ‘balanced’ by the Spirit of God within each and every one of us. Without that balance it will run rampant to feel ‘special’, ‘privileged’ and ‘entitled’.
The truth is that we are ALL equal because we have the Spirit of God within us. It is our egos that decide and yearn for ‘special’ treatment; it is the Spirit of God that teaches us the equality and unity in all of life when we frequently ‘listen’ to its guidance. By allowing our emotional ‘impulses’ and ‘yearnings’ to steer our course we are NOT balancing them with guidance from the Spirit of God within!
Ensuring the free flow of information for everyone IS operating from the spirit more than the ego. Be honest, be truthful and NEVER give false witness. If you ever bear false witness, it is obvious just ‘who’ is in control. Bearing false witness identifies that the ego is fearful of the outcome of a situation as NOT being favorable to itself. It is ‘rearranging’ the ‘perceptions of others in order to justify what it ‘wants’ others to ‘perceive’. This is control, domination and manipulation at its peak!
It is natural for our egos to try to protect us from harm. After all, it is a construct of our survival mechanism rooted in our reptilian brains. Thoughts are nothing more than electro-chemical interactions in our brains that are ‘copies’ of reality and NOT reality itself. These copies are filtered through our belief systems in order for us to be kept from possible harm. If we hold on to erroneous beliefs over accurate ones, we can make decisions that are beneficial only to us and also be detrimental to others.
Stop trying to protect yourself from ‘perceived’ inconvenience and harm; allow life to be and contribute to it by ensuring that everyone live in complete equality and unity with the Spirit of God. Be ye therefore perfect! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

EMBATTLED

TUNNEL VISION
Perceptions of shortages, lack of resources and limitations in options are the result of tunnel vision. In order to see what is beyond your perception you need to accept what is as it is, seek Divine guidance on how to proceed and move towards the manifestation of the realization of accomplishing what you seek.
What exists beyond your tunnel vision is the perception of the abundance of the omniverse which has always been there but was obscured by your individual clouds of perception based on erroneous beliefs.
Stop buying into what your beliefs tell you and start allowing what the Divine guides you to do. Why would anyone in their right mind listen to a limited perspective when an unlimited one is ALWAYS available?

STOP MAKING EXCUSES
When will you stop making excuses about why you haven’t been manifesting your innermost dreams? Will it be when you perceive a crisis is upon you and you must act now or is it when you have met all of the conditions you have put on yourself in order to pursue your dreams? Making excuses about not being whom and what you were created to be is living in fear.

LEARNING
We learn in several different ways depending on what aspects of our lives that we identify with the most.
If we are predominantly in the physical realm, we are athletic and identify mostly with our bodies as just who and what we are. We are mainly controlled by our egos. We either don’t believe in a Higher SELF or we simply believe that what we sense is all there is and everything else is just conjecture and fantasy. We can be extremely doubtful, worrisome and fearful or over-confident, arrogant and egotistical.
If we are predominantly in the emotional realm, we can be argumentative, warlike and challenging as well as supportive, kind and loving. We are reactive and don’t feel responsible for our actions. We believe that it is always someone else’s ‘fault’ and we never take the blame because we are not accountable for what ‘happens’ to us. We usually try to control, dominate and manipulate the thoughts, beliefs, actions and behaviors of others to ‘feel’ your own power.
If we are predominantly in the mental realm we learn, think, speak, imagine, deduce and induce reality by thinking critically. We are reactive and proactive and learn from our mistakes. We embrace responsibility and accountability because we take pride in being the best we can be. We usually try to reason things out by ferreting out the facts from others’ opinions and we are true to the spirit of being truthful and accurate.
If we are predominantly in the spiritual realm we learn, think, speak, imagine and know reality by allowing Divine love to flow through our beings. We are usually proactive and genuinely share Divine love with all. We encourage and empower others to be the best that they can be. We operate more from the knowing of the Spirit of God than any beliefs. We make the time to regularly commune with the Divine every day and we treasure the gifts of the spirit. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
ARE YOU WORSHIPPING THE MAN?
Yeshua was a rabbi; a student and teacher of the Pentateuch (Torah). In the New Testament Yeshua time and again teaches lessons from the original five books of Moses. He particularly quotes Deuteronomy on several occasions. Yeshua knew the law of God as relayed to Moses. From that structure he grew into the teacher that he was; one who took the written word and made it the living word.
He taught all of us that the Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath. He took the promises of God in the Pentateuch and made them real. Yeshua served all of us by relaying the truth and for that he was persecuted; and in the face of persecution shared Divine love. He was a role model for all of us and it was his ‘spirit’ that gave us salvation. Not the man, the spirit.
When you worship the man you are insulting God. When you dwell on the blood of Jesus instead of the love of Jesus you have completely missed the point. Christ made the gospel for the common man. He took it from the priests and monarchs and brought it down to earth. He felt the touch of the man on his garment who desired to be healed.
He sat down and ate with Matthew, the hated tax collector, and was chastised for doing so by his disciples. He spoke in the language of the money changers at the temple. He was real and focused on ALL of us knowing that the Kingdom of God is within each and every one of us. He showed us God is our source and NOT humankind.
Yeshua taught form the heart and the inner well-being of Divine love. He gave of himself selflessly and lifted people up. He taught us how to be fishers of humankind; how to lead by sharing Divine love with all of Creation. He taught us how to respect life and live in Divine love everlasting!
His message of love in the face of all ego and evil has lasted for thousands of years. Feel the spirit of Christ within you guiding you to the Spirit of God. Bridge the gap from ego to God. Transform your life by accepting the spirit of Christ within you to know the Spirit of God, just as Yeshua did. Stop worshipping the man and live in loving God. Peace be with you. HOW WE LEARN
How do we learn about ourselves in relation to our lives and the lives of others? Do we simply observe reality and determine its value? Is there a Sensory Hierarchy that we experience from our environment? Or do we simply perceive based on what we have previously perceived in relation to what we are perceiving now?
There are four ways that we ‘learn’ from our experiences in our environment. In the physical realm we learn from the collation of kinesthetic and tactile information. In the emotional realm we learn from auditory and visual information. In the mental realm we learn from our thoughts, feelings, beliefs, words, imaginations, affirmations and visualizations. In the spiritual realm we learn from meditating, listening, sharing and empowering others.
We observe our environments, perceive what our experiences mean to us and either react to (fight or flight) or proact from (evaluate and plan out) our experiences.
Following are the realms and their learning centers:
PHYSICAL REALM
Kinesthetic – Musculation – feeling of movement, discomfort, pain and vibration in your body.
Tactile – Feeling of objects and chemicals in your environment.
Tactual – Touch – feeling of liquid or solid physical contact.
Gustation – Taste – feeling of liquid or solid chemical mixtures.
Olfaction – Smell – feeling of gaseous odors and fragrances.
EMOTIONAL REALM
Auditory – Hearing – feeling of mechanical sound waves.
Music – Sounds having rhythm, timbre, melody and harmony that awaken your emotions positively.
Voice – Sounds from words that have meaning to you and create thought processes that are compared to previously learned information.
Noise – Sounds not having rhythm, timbre, melody and harmony that create dissonant, discordant and negative feelings.
Language – Sounds that have meaning from words that you have learned to comprehend and understand.
Visual – Seeing – feeling of electromagnetic light waves.
Movement – Observance of objects moving forward in time.
Color – The ability to distinguish different visual frequencies and feel their tones.
MENTAL REALM
Learning – Listening, processing and memorizing information.
Thinking – Collating images, words and movements in concentration or contemplation.
Speaking – Uttering words from the images you see, sounds you hear and feelings you feel in your mind.
Imagining - Creating graphical pictures in your mind to represent observations.
Affirming – Creating feelings from words that assume the end result as if it has already happened.
Visualizing – See a picture of the end result of your innermost desires and feeling the joy from experiencing the images.
SPIRITUAL REALM
Meditating – Becoming still, silent and focused within your mind and heart by blocking out all external chaos and letting go of all thought.
Listening – Hearing what has been said and actively embracing the feelings generated by it.
Sharing – Giving what talents, skills and abilities you possess to help others discover theirs.
Empowering – Encouraging others with Divine love and experiencing it as a result. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
YOU ARE?
You are much greater than you might perceive. Despite all of the chaotic expressions that are present in this dynamic omniverse you survived.
You continued on in the face of adversity and became a living and breathing entity. You have learned options and have declared choices based on what you think and feel.
Are they the ‘correct’ choices that contribute to the growth and expansion of all of life? Or are they designed to only serve you? Following are eleven observations about ‘what you are’:
You are the embodiment of Divine love. When you breathe in, feel Divine love. When you breathe out, express Divine love. When you look in the mirror every morning, see Divine love. When you open your mouth; express words of Divine love. When you hear the sounds of chaos around you, listen to Divine love. Divine love is that which you are and will always be; when you know that, Divine order moves natural order to fulfill your Divine purpose perfectly. Trust the Divine to do what is best for all concerned and it will manifest right before your very eyes. Be ye therefore perfect!
You are probably a racist and a moron if you think that the Affordable Care Act is better for you than Obamacare because you believe that they are two different things.
You are probably a racist and a bigot if you think that it’s un-American that a black man lives in the White House.
You are probably a moron if you think that your congressional representatives are only there to represent you.
You are probably a moron if you think that a constructed entity (corporation) is a living and breathing person that has needs, wants, desires and expectations of a living being.
You are probably a complete idiot if you think that your freedom is predicated on a document that was designed by white misogynistic land and slave owners.
You are probably a complete idiot if you think that the government and its constituents are there to provide the way for you to pursue happiness.
You are probably an egotistic selfish bastard if you feel that your needs, wants, desires and expectations are more important than anyone elses’.

You are probably an enlightened individual if you allow the Spirit of God the share Divine love through you every day.

BELIEF IN DIVINE SEPARATION
Who am I? What shall I do? Where do I go? How will I get there? When will I arrive? Why is this happening to me?
These are all questions that come from a belief in Divine separation. Knowing the Divine within allows you to know who you are, what you need to do, where you need to do it, how you should proceed, when you will get there and why you need to act now.

A LITTLE HISTORY
It was early 1979 when I started working for Frank Zappa’s manager, Bennett Glotzer, former partner of Albert Grossman. I had just turned 25 and was learning the music business from the bottom up. I did everything from being an errand boy (usually driving his black Ferrari around Beverly Hills) to coordinating a radio promotion campaign. I had to visit Frank on occasion at rehearsal and at his home in Laurel Canyon to sign documents. The first time I met Frank was in his home. He was at his Bechstein piano in his living room surrounded by thousands of LP’s. He was always very nice to me and was never smart-assed or condescending. You could feel his ‘brilliant’ vibe when you walked in the room with him. I worked on the record promotion for his single “I Don’t Wanna Get Drafted”, which made it to #5 on the Radio and Record Chart.
During my time working for Frank and Bennett, I was rehearsing with Bobby (Hoffman) Starfire, former replacement guitarist of Blues Image (Mike Pinera; “Ride Captain Ride”,). Mike gave Bobby a call in the late Spring and said he was reforming Iron Butterfly. He needed a keyboard player to replace Doug Ingle, a drummer, because Ron Bushy wasn’t available and a bass player (Lee Dorman wasn’t available either). Bobby called me to play keyboards and we recruited Gary ‘Hoppy’ Hodges on drums, who played on the Buckingham Nicks first record before they later joined Fleetwood Mac. We recruited Rob Whitehouse on bass and began rehearsals of all of the Iron Butterfly songs. Mike Pinera never showed for rehearsal and made his grand entrance two weeks later when we played at the Sunken Gardens Theater in San Antonio, Texas. We had already opened up for the rock group Head East in Springfield, IL and for Steppenwolf in McAllen, Texas.
Several years later I got to meet Ron Bushy, the original drummer for Iron Butterfly. He and I became good friends and he had an awesome family as well. In my next installment, I will tell you more about what happened when Ron was recognized and heralded by one of the most famous drummers in the world. When reality is based upon what you sense and perceive you are not seeing the entire picture. I choose to see beyond what I sense and perceive to see the entire picture.
If someone chooses to limit their understanding of reality that is their choice, but please don't tell me that I am not dealing with reality simply because you choose to 'believe' a limited viewpoint.

STUPIDITY AND IGNORANCE
The difference between stupidity and ignorance is that the latter can be fixed with the desire for the truth, walking the path toward the truth and evaluating the facts over other people’s opinions.
The former can be fixed as well when the person’s heart and mind are opened to the Divine truth within.
No matter where anyone else is in their lives share Divine love and plant the seeds of truth. They might not take root now, but someday they will in Divine order. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
REFLECTING BACK
In sharing that which you seek you move the omniverse to reflect that back to you over and over again.
When it does, you might not sense it, but you will feel it in your heart. Respond to the gifts you’ve been given with appreciation and gratitude and you will start the cycle of giving and receiving all over again.
It is in your action of sharing that the omniverse rearranges that which you sense and that which you feel to fulfill your Divine purpose in Divine order. Be ye therefore perfect! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

When you can’t see beyond the nose on your face, you are probably cross-eyed. When you can’t hear beyond what people say, you are too self-absorbed.

KNOWING THE TRUTH
How can you know the truth? How can you see beyond your senses and know the truth? How can you listen to it and deal with what it brings if you allow your pre-conceived notions, erroneous beliefs, selfish reactions and attitudes to occupy your presence? It’s actually quite simple.
Faith is what leads you to Divine trust and sharing Divine love is what aligns you with Divine order. Know the presence of the Spirit of God within and rely on its guidance. The Divine IS the best friend you have and when you allow yourself to get out of your own way Divine order moves natural order to create harmony in your life. It’s actually that simple.
If this is true, then why doesn’t everyone do this? If you do not know the Divine within then you will rely on your beliefs to sustain you. If you share Divine love with all you will feel the presence of Divine love in your heart. Most people look for the Divine outside of them and share with others according to their beliefs and not according to what they’ve been guided to do.
Regular, consistent and daily communication with the Divine is what it takes to finely tune your human instrument. If the Divine appears to be far away from you, it's simply because you are looking in the wrong direction; you need to open the door inwards toward the Divine. Look within for what you know and stop living by what you believe.
Pray for Divine guidance by allowing things to be as they are and not attaching any emotional constrictions to them. Speak to God with a voice of allowance and understand that you Divine purpose has been given to you to unfold it in Divine order.
Living in your Divine purpose is always there; you just have to align yourself with Divine order each and every day in deep meditation to experience that which is your center; Divine love everlasting! Listen to your inner well-being speaking to you in the divine voice of silence. In the presence of divine stillness you transcend beyond the din of chaos.
Go into the world and serve the Divine by sharing Divine love with everyone you meet. Be a conduit of that which, supports, sustains and fulfills everyone. OUT FOR THEMSELVES
The Divine essence is within you whispering to your heart with a silent voice; a voice that only can be heard deep within your heart when you still your being. This inner state of Divine peace is where you come to understand and know your faith and trust in the Divine. This silence and stillness is not heard by your heart in the outer world of chaos, separation and division.
It is only ‘felt’ within your heart when you go within and know the Divine. Listen to the whispers; be still; know God. All of your answers, solutions and resolutions to your perceived problems are within. You just need to be still and listen to your heart. Never allow the beliefs and behaviors of others to disturb or disrupt your experience of inner peace.
When certain individuals displaying such obvious behaviors of selfishness, childishness and acrimony affect all of our lives, we need to put a stop to it. Those of us who know the Divine and know that we are in this together, need to take action. Know this about ignorant and selfish individuals; they are only out for themselves!
Ask yourself this question: How can individuals that are so blatantly out for themselves even consider that we're in this together? Money and power is their God while they profess that the Divine is their God. They say what is convenient to those who don’t know any better in order to pad their wallets and support their extravagant lifestyles. Be not fooled by their confessions of loving God, for it is NOT the God we know. It is their collective construct of a warrior God that they have anthropomorphized into being like us.
If God is love, peace, joy and understanding and we are created in His image, then anyone who behaves otherwise is not living from the unity of the Divine with ALL of life. The world resists, fights and argues of whom and what God is when it is deep within them.
As long as they think only of themselves they will never see God in all of life. Until they go within and be still, they are operating from their egos and NOT God. END RESULT
If at first you don’t succeed, you didn’t do what was necessary to succeed and you need to realize that the unfolding of any desire needs to be a goal, needs to be seen as an end result and needs for you to trust in the Divine to make it be.

WHAT DO YOU SEE?
When you look in the mirror do you see someone you like? Do you see the person you had thought you would be by now? Or do you see a frustrated, downtrodden and tired person who has been beaten down by others?
Whatever you see is just the outside manifestation of what you accepted as true within you and allowed to exist in your life by the choices you have made. Is it too simple for you to make better choices and see the reflection you wish to see? Only you can determine that.

Only you know just whom and what you are deep within your heart. Are you allowing this inner blessing to flow from your heart into your world? Or are you purposefully burying your Divine gifts because you fear others will put you down, laugh at you or reject you?

KNOWING GOD
Why do you believe in God? Is it because you want to believe, you were brought up in church and accepted His presence or was it a personal revelation? Have you ever thought of why some don’t believe in God? Is it because they don’t want to believe, they were brought up not to believe or it came from their personal revelation?
The problem is that whether or not you ‘believe’ in God is not the issue. The real question is, “Do you know God?” Is God your source of existence or is God an old man on a throne somewhere out in space? If God is your source you know that the Divine is beyond everything including your imagination. God is not something you anthropomorphize because it is convenient for you in order to understand the human condition.
Knowing God does not mean that you can ‘prove’ the Divine’s existence to yourself or others. It means that you allow Divine love to flow through you in Divine order, feeling the Divine’s presence and inner peace. Even those who don’t believe in God can know God simply by tuning in to their inner peace and experiencing the joy in living. The name of God is a derivative of Yod.
The Tetragrammaton is comprised of the Aramaic letters YHVH (pronounced Yod Hey Vahv Hey). Through many derivations it was converted into ‘Yahweh’ and then Jehovah. The word God itself came from the tenth letter of the Aramaic alphabet which literally meant ‘hand’. The ‘Hand of God’ is literally the Divine reaching ‘down’ to his creation and sharing Divine love with all of creation.
Technically, the Aramaic (early Hebrew) language was read from the right to the left and was consonant oriented. The vowels were purposefully left out for non-Jews to not be able to understand the ‘secretive’ meaning. Hey, the fifth letter of the alphabet meant ‘behold’; Vahv (pronounced Waw), is the sixth letter meaning ‘to be’; Hey, in this case meaning the Divine Spirit of God; and, Yod, the tenth letter meaning hand. In summation, this means ‘Behold that which is the Spirit of God extends to us His Divine hand’.
From this early time there has always been a connection between humankind and God. The response of God to Moses when he observed the burning bush was, “I am that, I am.” The original was ʾehyeh ʾašer ʾehyeh; which means “I will be what I will be’ without the tense restriction of time (‘will’).
The presence of God, literally meaning ‘I’, has always been the Higher SELF; whereas, the lower self is ‘i’. When the smaller you (‘i’, self, ego) ‘believes’ in God (‘I’, SELF, the Divine Infinite Spirit of God) it means that you ‘feel’ that connection and you need to come to the realization that you are NOT ever separate from God. When the smaller you (‘i’, self, ego) does NOT ‘believe’ in God (‘I’, SELF, the Divine Infinite Spirit of God) it means that you do NOT ‘feel’ that connection and you rely on the smaller self (ego) to guide you.
The problem is based on ‘beliefs’ and NOT knowing. Knowing is an experience of the presence of God and believing is an experience of ‘convincing’ yourself of the presence of God through supplication, prayer and doing good deeds. When you truly ‘know’ God you not only feel your connection you live and act ‘from’ that connection.
It is not going to this church or that church; chanting this mantra or another; living an ascetic or hedonistic lifestyle; or even regularly reading your favorite holy book and practicing its tenets. It is simply looking within for that which was always there but you couldn’t see because you were looking outside of yourself.
The door to the Divine swings inward. As Yeshua said, "The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you." ~Luke 17:21 (King James Bible).
Believe in God and don’t harass or put down those who don’t; because, if you do, it reveals that you truly don’t ‘know’ the living God that says “I am that, I am.” ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

QUESTIONING YOUR ETHICS
What do you do when someone you have admired and respected all of your life questions your ethics behind your back? Do you retreat into a shell and lick your wounds or do you experience the rejection and hurt and move on? Do you tell that person how you feel or do you simply remain quiet and interact with them knowing that they don’t trust you?
Whether you confront them or not what they have done is not about you but ultimately about them. They feel somehow either superior to you or more righteous than you. They need to question you to prove to their ego that they are better than you. Somehow, that doesn’t seem like something for you to respect any longer.
Don’t allow the ‘pseudo-superiority’ or ‘righteousness’ weapon they inflict upon you to disturb your peace. When you KNOW that your ethics are intact and based on truth never allow anyone to try and convince you otherwise; whether it’s behind your back or to your face.

JARRING YOUR COMFORT ZONE
Whether you choose to listen to your inner voice of peace or not, you will encounter challenges that will jar you out of your comfort zone and force you to make the choices you have been avoiding.

Following are eleven ifs and whens you might want to consider when taking an honest look at yourself:

When you think only of your needs, wants, desires and expectations, you are cutting yourself off from the privilege of sharing Divine love with all.
When you think and feel that your life is more important than any other life, you do NOT know the Spirit of God within.
When you think and feel that the lives of others are more important than your life, you are NOT allowing the Spirit of God within to guide you to your Divine purpose unfolding in Divine order.
When you tell others that you care when in fact you don’t, you are planting seeds of rejection that will grow into trees that are rooted in your own self-destruction

Your ability to share Divine love with all is not dependent on what others do to you; it is what you do to yourself.
Your state of health is not dependent on external things that you perceive you cannot control; it is based on what thoughts, ideas and feelings you hold as true and the resistance to your natural state of perfection.
Your state of wealth is not dependent on the economy and other external factors that you perceive you cannot control; it is based on your attitude about your natural state of wealth and the resistance to your worthiness to experience it.
Your state of ongoing prosperity is not dependent on what others do to invest in your lifestyle; it is based on your acceptance of your talents, skills and abilities and your allowance of their expressions in helping others
Your ability to accept omniversal abundance is not dependent on what you perceive as true; it is based on your allowing Divine love to flow through you completely every day of your life.
Where you are right now is a result of where you have been, what you have accepted as true and what beliefs you have forged as a result.
When you are rigid, opportunities for growth and expansion pass through you and around you; when you are flexible, you move with the flow and absorb what you need to do, when you need to do it and who you need to do it with for the betterment of all.

ANGER
Anger is the feeling that you have not been treated fairly. It is the resultant emotion that has come from the frustration of dealing with the source of the anger and the fear that the source will never change. You feel guilty for allowing yourself to not be treated fairly. You experience shame as a result. You are hurt that someone was so brazen that they did something to you that you didn’t like.
You feel a loss because you are experiencing their ego lashing out at you. You feel incomplete as a result. Helplessness is underlying and that creates anxiety and fear. All of this stems from you feeling unworthy and empty because someone else has violated your feelings of peace and joy.
Never allow another to anger you to the point where they steal your peace and joy. Anger is a natural reactive emotion that is alright to feel because it awakens you to whom and what you need to interact with in an ongoing manner. Be ye therefore perfect! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
McKay and Rogers in The Anger Control Workbook suggest nine feelings that might have preceded your anger:
1. Guilt--a sense of having done something wrong.
2. Shame--a deep feeling of being unacceptable, flawed, or contemptible.
3. Hurt--a feeling of being devalued or denigrated by others.
4. Loss--a feeling that something you needed or counted on is lost or missing.
5. Hunger/frustrated drive--an aching for something; a strong sense of incompleteness.
6. Helplessness--a feeling that there is nothing you can do about your pain; crucial elements in your life are beyond your control.
7. Anxiety/fear--a dread of something that could happen; a sense of danger; a fear of certain things or situations.
8. Feeling unworthy--a sense that you aren't good enough, that you are bad or wrong or without intrinsic value.
9. Emptiness--a sense either of numbness or a hollowness that requires constant attention and activity.
NICKEL AND DIMING
One day this past year I had a whopper of a day. I had to fire two clients. One of them kept sending text after text telling me I had an ego problem. At every turn he was questioning what I was doing. Telling me how to do it; always trying to get one over on me.
It reminded me of the old Blondie cartoon where Dagwood is arguing over the bill with the contractor. He said, “The bill is $3000; you said it was only going to be $2000! The contractor responded, “That’s before I knew you were going to help.”
I sent him a message telling him I know longer wanted to do business with someone who always tries to nickel and dime me to death over EVERYTHING. This 40 year old man texted me saying, "I’m gonna teach you about business." I laughed and texted back, "I was in business before you were a twinkle in your father's eye."
It's amazing just how big his ego is; probably because he is 5'2" and has a little big man complex. He works out every day and buffs himself up to compensate for his lack of physical stature. What a waste. With his knowledge he could be helping people and the only thing he does is over-validate his ego. When people don’t value your expertise because their egos think that they know everything, it is time to vacate.
The second client begged me to fix his sister’s computer and never showed up when he said he would. Earlier, I told him not to mess around and be there on time to pick it up. I spent my day fixing his sister’s computer and he didn’t have the decency to call at the time he was supposed to. He texted me that his wife spent the money at the store and that he couldn’t pay me. I called another client and sold the computer to them to cover the costs.
I don’t want to be so hard lined to anyone; however, when people don’t respect you enough to at least call and make other arrangements or try to whittle you down at every turn, no one needs those kinds of egomaniacs in their lives. Be nice, be kind and be firm. Homey don’t play. I am tired of these types of people and will no longer be in their service.
My peace is more important than their egotistical yearnings. I wish them both the best and I feel more at peace now than I ever did working with them. God bless those who respect others; they understand that the Spirit of God within and share that over all else. Peace. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
CONSULTATION
NOT WORTH YOUR PEACE
Get rid of those who make life too difficult. They always make you pay in some way for doing business with them or interacting with them. It isn't worth your peace.
Evict those who always try to rent space in your head or think that their lives have more priority than yours. They'll dirty the carpet, never clean the floors and never change the litter box. Send 'em packing and keep your peace.
The Divine within is in command and not them. Spend your precious time with those who get it; otherwise, you are wasting your time speaking to those who choose not to hear and listen. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
TAKING ROOT
When you allow that which hinders your progress to take root, you have abandoned the truth within.
You are acclimating your values to the things that you perceive are outside of you; your values are the benchmark that are the determinants of your perceived progress.
Your point of allowance is not based on what choices that you haven’t made, but on the choices that you make.
Root out the weeds in your personal garden so that they don’t choke the life out of your progress in unfolding your Divine purpose in Divine order.

You are the embodiment of Divine love. When you breathe in, feel Divine love. When you breathe out, express Divine love.

AN AGENDA TO MANIFEST
When you have something to sell and an agenda to manifest, you will use the facts available to spread fear among those who are gullible enough to buy into your complete and utter bullshit.
You will say what people want to hear, in a low and sustaining tone and repeating the ‘fact’ that you know what you are talking about. This is the most blatant attempt at controlling, dominating and manipulating others to bring out their fear and align them with your obvious agenda to hawk your wares.
The best con-artists present the illusion of the facts only going to their conclusions by using publicly accessed information to ‘convince’ you of their veracity. Don’t fall for it. It is a ‘shell game’. Why you are following their ‘logic’, they are dressing the facts up in order to for them to fit their conclusions.
Where you think the marble is under the shell is a result of you being ‘distracted’ by manipulators using convincing arguments calming and intently. When you listen to this long presentation from an ‘expert’, you will find that the only thing this expert is doing is promulgating fear in order to motivate you to consider him an authority figure and that you MUST follow his guidance.

Each and every morning she used to get up to the call of the elder statesman cat Ziggy gently combing her hair. Ziggy passed on a couple of months ago and she still mourns him. Every day she gets up and gropes for her glasses and heads for the kitchen. Before she has one sip of morning coffee she feeds our furry friends. They dance separately in excitement as she tries to wake up enough to feed them. She dons her robe to go outside and feed the ferals who have no one to love them and no food to eat. They live in the back shed in order to stay warm and guarded from the weather. Every morning they are there waiting for her. If she doesn’t come right away they start their chorus of beckoning sounds in reaction to their hunger.
Whether hot or cold, dry or raining, windy or snowing, their needs are for their basic survival. I have seen her go without so that they could not. I have seen her talk to them, pet them and love them. I have seen her immediately put down what she was doing, no matter how important, to meet their needs. Her dedication to support their life with food and love is exemplary. Without her, they would never survive. Without her, they would not live as long as they have. Without the love in her heart for their very lives they would not survive.
I saw her take an 8 oz kitten, who was heading for being a possum snack, and bring him back to health. He cried in excruciating pain every time he visited the litter box. She cleaned his rear and applied Vaseline until he was healed. He is now over ten pounds and is the alpha male in our home. I’ve seen her be responsible to life and accountable for maintaining it.
Who is she? She is my talented and beautiful wife Elizabeth; the woman who I fell in love with one morning when she was admiring her Morning Glories. She is the woman who has stuck by me when others attacked, tried to take advantage and accused me of things I would never do. I am one blessed man to have her in my life. When I begin to feel that I am overwhelmed and persecuted, I think of how much she believes in me and supports my dreams. I virtually place myself in the shed as a feral cat and look up to her in thanks for being there every day to make sure that I survive.

Do we exercise ‘free will’ or do we simply follow a determined path to our ‘destiny’? At the lowest levels of the perceived dualistic reality it seems that movement comes from pre-determined patterns of expression that grow, expand and follow a course to a conclusion. These expressed patterns are not a strategy but a simple movement from one ‘state’ to another much the same as the zeros (off) and ones (on) of a digital bit. As these movements ‘graduate’ to the quantum level of expression they appear random and uncertain. When they pass from the realm of apparent ‘chaos’ into the realm of apparent ‘order’, they move into the physical level of the ‘perception’ of order amid chaos.
The omniverse ‘appears’ to function according to the ‘laws’ of physics because that is the way pre-determined patterns unfold into natural order. Where does free will enter into this? Some scientists believe that there is no free will and that the omniverse is a giant clock that unfolds according to the laws of physics. In other words, what we do with what we have has no effect on the ‘grand scheme’ of things. We are simply pawns in a game of chess and we have no free will to alter the ‘strategy’ of the game. They akin the game to be more like checkers and not like chess. Movements can only exist from one position to the next according to omniversal laws. What they fail to see is that the unfolding of natural order arises from the expression of Divine order.
Divine order is ultimately affected by what choices we actively make. The true illusion is not that we haven’t the ability to choose, but that our choices actually matter. When we believe that we are living in a deterministic fashion we acclimate ourselves to playing the victim and make choices that are NOT responsible; after all, no matter what we choose to do we are just pawns in the game and our movements are ‘determined’ by forces beyond our apparent control. When we believe we have ‘free will’, we nurture our sense of wonder and know that we must make responsible choices in order to be ‘victorious’ or successful in our perception of life.
Our beliefs are actually what ‘determine’ our course of action toward unfolding our Divine purpose in Divine order. What ultimately brings our Divine purpose into complete fruition is ‘knowing’ that we understand that purpose and acting in a responsible fashion to bring it about. According to Einstein, the past, present and future exist concurrently and that it is our individual ‘perspective’ that perceives the dualistic illusion of them being separate as being real. If our past affects our present and our present affects our future, then it follows that our future affects our present and our present affects our past.
In the realm of ‘belief’, time unfolds in one direction. In the realm of ‘knowing’, time unfolds in both directions. Knowing is allowing the future conclusion of your actions to affect what you do right now, as well as what you are doing right now is co-creating what you know will happen. Believing is allowing the present steps you are taking to affect what comes about as a result of those steps in the future. In some ways, our steps are pre-determined by the omniversal grid of natural growth and expansion but it is our perception and ‘belief’ in free will that ultimately activates our ability to ‘know’ where we are going.
When beliefs become rigid and unyielding, they are erroneous at best. When they bring you into a Divine state of ‘knowing’, they allow you to see beyond time and space into the realm of understanding the unfolding of your Divine purpose in Divine order. When you ‘know’ what to do you are taking a future conclusion and moving toward its actualization. Beliefs are repeated thoughts that you accept as true and are the starting point of an expanded awareness of the perceived dualistic reality as being the stage of expression and the illusion of reality.
Knowing is the inner peace of the presence of the Divine that enlightens your being to move toward your destiny. You are not ‘fated’ by the omniverse unless you give up making the choices that allow you to unfold your Divine purpose in Divine order. Fulfillment requires moving from peace into order, not peace into chaos. Use your belief in free will to supersede any belief in determinism. Graduate to knowing the Divine by making the time each and every day to experience the presence of Divine love within you right now.
Choose life, peace, understanding, joy and Divine love by choosing to live in health, wealth, prosperity and abundance. Move from being the victim of your own yearnings to the victor of your own Divine desires. It’s as simple as making responsible, sensible and effective choices that confirm what you already know deep within your heart. Be ye therefore perfect! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

THE ONLY REALITY?
If you are deterministic you 'believe' that space-time is the ONLY reality. Time (past, present and future), according to Einstein, exists concurrently. It is NOT rooted in 'objective time' but in 'real time'. Real time is what is required by science in the perceived dualistic reality of polar opposites. Objective time is a construct 'outside' of real time.
If science 'shows' that something does not exist, it is because they are observing the perceived dualistic reality of space-time. The lowest levels (Planck levels) of the PDR are pre-determined patterns of expression that yield 'quantum uncertainty' at the quantum level. Finally, at the physical level, chaos creates the illusion of natural order.
The objective factor in the reality of ‘illusion’ is the spiritual KNOWING and NOT the emotional BELIEVING that comes from interacting in the illusion of the PDR. What you believe is dependent on what you perceive in the soup of ‘reality’ (illusion).

TRAVERSING THE GAUNTLET
Traversing the gauntlet of harrowing experiences brings your tunnel vision to a new focus. It forces you to see beyond your comfort zone and your walls of mediocrity. It stretches your perspective to the point where you realize that your dedication to altruism is NOT universal.
When your focus is only on you, your tunnel vision validates itself by constricting your inner vision from ‘seeing’ the opportunities that are ever-present, but not recognizable due to your emotional state. Experiences that ‘appear’ as harrowing are there for your growth and expansion. They teach you that your emotional assumptions that others are seeking what is good for all is NOT what some others think and feel.
The existence of humankind is varied and some focus more on ‘me’ than ‘we’. Instead of seeking the truth, hammering out justice and living in equanimity, the ‘me’ seekers reveal their inherent selfishness with every word, action and behavior they demonstrate. Only a fine tuned observer can see through their smoke screen generated to give the ‘appearance’ of being ‘we’ centered.
How do see this? If their words, actions and behaviors foster separation and enmity, they are ultimately out for themselves. Dodge the metaphorical bullets fired by selfish and evil people by trusting in the Divine completely. Whether direct attacks or ricochets, your ultimate safety will be ensured when you live in Oneness and unity with all of life.
It is not your job or duty to understand what others are thinking or feeling. That is THEIR experience concerning their observations, perceptions and beliefs about reality. Your job is to focus on what unfolds in your life and to proact from that instead of react to that. Choosing to go within and know what is happening is an active choice whereas ‘resisting’ and ‘fighting’ in the perceived chaos is a passive choice and ultimately following the path of ‘what appears to be’ the least resistance.
It takes work to ignore what appears to be true in favor of what you know within is true. It requires vision and focus more than simple observation, perceptions and belief system constructs. It requires you to let go of what you believe in favor of what you know within.
See beyond your perceived circumstances and know that the Divine is there moving Divine order to fulfill your Divine purpose. Trusting that the best for all concerned will come about is being ‘we’ centered. Be ye therefore perfect! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

PEACE. BE STILL.

Why are we afraid? What makes us think of the worst things happening? Why is it that we leap to fear instead of leaping to faith? Is it because we don’t know how to completely trust in God? Or is it that we are so used to depending on ourselves? Fear is a reaction to what we perceive will harm us. Whether the perception of what ‘could’ happen or what ‘will’ happen is accurate or erroneous, we choose to believe what the worst thing is because we want to survive.
Survival is predicated on our ability to effectively react to our perceived ‘bumps in the road’. Reacting is something we do ‘after’ something else occurs and we perceive it to be threatening in some way. On the flip side, proacting it something we do ‘before’ OR ‘after’ something occurs. It is planting the seeds of co-creation in order to reap a harvest of bountiful fulfillment.
Studies have shown that our brains anticipate the unfolding of things in natural order. It is as if we already know the outcome and we watch the unfolding of the outcome like a movie within our minds. When your faith is small, you leap to fear to protect yourself not realizing that in choosing faith and trust in the Divine, you take the burden of survival away from you and put it in the hands of that which knows EVERYTHING!!!
When you know that the Divine is within you it is within your awareness to acknowledge this and sternly disapprove of the storms in your life. Facing the storms and chaos by declaring your Oneness is the solution to removing them and achieving inner peace. As Yeshua confronted the wind and sea he declared with sharp and stern disapproval of their threatening actions and declared. “Peace. Be still.”
We have it within each and every one of us to declare peace and rebuke the chaos. Bring the great calm into your life by knowing the divine power within you right now and trust it completely!
