SPHERE OF INFLUENCE
The conservatives and libertarians don’t give a damn about what happens to anyone outside of their sphere of influence because it doesn’t affect them directly; the only time they do care is when it hits home and they have to deal with it directly.
In other words, when selfishness overrides selflessness the ego is king and everyone else are peasants who must fend for themselves.
When selflessness rules, everyone is treated equitably and the Spirit of God blesses everyone with Divine love creating peace, understanding and joy for all.

RACISM FESTERS
Racism festers when the white separatists blame the black man. It justifies their ignorance and beliefs that they are superior in some fashion.
What it actually does is reveal that their egos are in command and NOT the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God brings us all together; it does not attempt to separate.
It exudes Divine love; not hatred and bigotry. It allows us to grow and expand; not stifle and restrict.
Only when all of us recognize and PRACTICE equality will we be moving in the spiritual direction and moving away from the selfish focus. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

The Spirit of God is always present and it takes an individual to embrace the awareness to allow its inner well-being to flow through them into their world.
It is the ego that is the dam that stops up and prevents the flow of Divine love because it doesn't believe in abundance unless it creates it!

WHAT IS A LIE?
What is a lie? It is the ego’s attempt at controlling, dominating and manipulating historical reality to benefit itself. It is taking advantage of another and altering what has truly happened with what they want you to believe has happened.
It is the ultimate act of selfishness and it reveals a person who does NOT know Divine love. If they did, they would accept things as they are and speak the truth no matter what. Liars might win for a season, but the damage they do to their souls is almost irreparable.
The only way they have hope for salvation is to admit their lies and tell the truth. If they do, they align themselves with Divine love; if they don’t, they will be subject to the consequences of selfishness and derision.
Always bear true witness; for in bearing false witness you have sealed your fate. May God be with those who lie as a lifestyle; for their lifestyle will be subject to the lies they have perpetrated. Be ye therefore truthful at all costs! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
SELFISHNESS
Selfishness is the result of making the choice that what you want is more important than what others want. It is the decision that prioritizes you over others.
When it is the only reaction that you manifest in your life it speaks volumes about you. It clearly states that your ego is in command and NOT the Spirit of God.

CHARACTERIZATIONS
I have been accused of attacking Republican politicians’ character over their substance with my graphic ‘characterizations’. It was said by a reader that “without a context or a reference, it's just an ad hominem ‘I don't like them cause they're who they are’ attack.” It's not an ad hominem because who they are comes from what they say. It is their words, lifestyle and behaviors that I attack.
If they keep spewing bullshit, then the meter of bullshit goes up! Their individual selfish skew is SO obvious to me that I will continue to ‘characterize’ them as being who they are by their behaviors.
If you look at what a person does and doesn’t do, you can see quite clearly where their character is and how they will carry out their agendas. Success and failure leaves clues. If you know how to read them, you will by what Christ said:
“But by their fruit you will know them. Do they gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles? So every good tree produces good fruit, but a bad tree produces bad fruit. A good tree is not able to produce bad fruit, neither a bad tree to produce good fruit. Every tree that does not produce good fruit is cut down and falls into the fire. Therefore by their fruit you will know them. It is not everyone that says to me, 'My Lord, my Lord'', who enters the Kingdom of Heaven, but whoever does the will of my Father who is in Heaven.” ~Yeshua, Matthew 7:16-21 (Aramaic Bible in Plain English). ~Dean A. TELL THE TRUTH
DESPITE THEIR IGNORANCE
Piss off a conservative! Tell them the truth even though they deny it. Even in the face of indisputable facts they will retreat into their belief system and tell you that you don’t know what you are talking about because you are a liberal.
Tell them that they don’t have a clue because their conservatism blinds them to the fact that the world is constantly changing despite their erroneous conservative beliefs. History has taught us that what has worked in the past has to be molded, shaped and fine tuned to adjust to our awareness of newer paradigms.
Those who are inflexible and don’t adjust are not growing and expanding. They are stifled, stagnant and egotistical. The Spirit of God provides for all of us with unlimited abundance liberally.
Conservatism by its nature believes in limited resources that can be controlled, dominated and manipulated by the plutocrats. Go ahead, piss them off.
Soon enough their antiquated philosophy will die off and make way for the new progressive paradigm of living in the Kingdom of God! Be ye therefore steadfast, progressive and liberal! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
YOUR FAITH MAKES
YOU WHOLE
Always know that it is your faith makes you whole. Why? Because by extending your trust in the Divine you co-create an open channel from your heart to flow Divine love into your being healing your life.
When you don’t trust in the Divine and have no faith in your Oneness, you constrict that channel and suffer the consequences of Divine separation.
It is always your choice to either allow Divine love to flow from your inner well-being or resist it with your erroneous beliefs and selfish actions.

A CONTRIVANCE
The Bible is a contrivance of 'books' written by those who failed to understand the deeper meaning of life.
For Christ's sake, they were either sheepherders or soldiers who struggled to survive. The concepts of Sola Scriptura, Sola Fide and the Trinity were invented by men in the attempt to control the masses.

STOP!
The next time someone does something that angers you and you feel the anger escalating, stop. Take a deep breath and pivot your emotional reaction to lash out at them and simply allow their aberrant, ignorant and selfish behaviors to pass through you without attaching any reactive emotions to them.
When you react, resist or fight back you are adding fuel to their fire and it will persist until you give in to emotional reaction. Instead, by taking a deep breath you are pausing in the moment and diffusing the reactive response.
See the aberrance, ignorance and selfishness for what it is; it is coming from their egos and NOT the Spirit of God within them! Feel their inner divinity and proact from your inner divinity to align yourself with theirs.
Make a plan to share Divine love in that moment and ACT on it. Understand that their egos are in control and that if they knew that they might act differently.
By sharing Divine love you open the door to their awareness of their true self; and yours! Be ye therefore more proactive than reactive! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

WAS JESUS A REPUBLICAN?
If Jesus was a Republican he would have never ridden into Jerusalem on a donkey. He would have ridden an elephant, wouldn’t he?
He rode on a donkey because he WAS a liberal who believed in love, peoplehood and the Divine within. Republican Jesus NEVER existed, despite the intense conservative rhetoric and spin doctoring we are subjected to in the media.
Riding in on a donkey is a symbol of peace. If he rode in on an elephant, it was a symbol of winning a battle against his enemy; besides, elephants weren’t readily available in Jerusalem.
Besides, Yeshua didn’t enter Jerusalem to battle anyone; he came in peace, yet was taken down by what he stood for against the establishment. They ignored his acts of healing in favor of protecting their warped egos.
Liberal Jesus is who existed as Yeshua; not Republican Jesus. Remember that next fall when the Reps are screaming from the Right about the values of conservatism; an antiquated philosophy based on selfishness and limitation. Don’t buy their wares! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

READ THE RED
In seminary school I had to learn how to translate the original Aramaic and Koine Greek in order to understand what it said and the cultural and geographic idioms as well.
The only thread of consistency is what is spelled out in the words of Yeshua in the red. Prior to that, I had read the Bible since I was a child over and over again.
It is a contrivance of the few whipping game over the many. It is NOT the holy word of God. That was an invented concept by the Catholics and espoused by Martin Luther.
The Trinity was invented at the Council of Nicea. The list goes on. I suggest going to the library and reading the truth. Peace. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
THINK ABOUT THIS
Think about this. If you spend most of your life pining for the glory, peace and freedom of a supposed afterlife what does that say about you right now? Does it say that you are living in the moment? Does it say that your life to you isn’t worth it? Or does it say that you just ‘believe’ that the blessing of your life that has been freely given to you is not valid until after you die?
Whatever it says or doesn’t say will never change the fact that you have been given life and a Divine purpose which only you have chosen to fulfill or dismiss. That, in itself, speaks volumes about just who you are. When you live from your ego you look to yourself for all of your good and you believe it comes to you because you deserve it. You elevate yourself over others to please your contrived self-image.
The fact is that you have an inner well-being that is blessing you with Divine love each and every moment of your life that flows directly from the Spirit of God. It is you who chooses to allow this flow or resist it. So, the next time things appear to not be going good for you remember that it is you who has made the choice to resist Divine love and NOT God punishing you for your aberrant behaviors.
Be responsible and accountable for your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, words, actions and behaviors. Stand up and proclaim that your ego has been fooling you all along and that only the Spirit of God within you can bless your life with health, wealth, prosperity and abundance.
Choose to live in peace, understanding, joy and Divine love by getting out of your own way and sharing that which has been given to you to help others. That’s your Divine blessing; sharing with Divine love that which has been given so lovingly to you. Be ye therefore living in the now. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
THE PROBLEM
Having a scrupulous intellectual honesty is great; however, when the ego kicks in and says that its viewpoint is correct and others aren't, therein lays the problem!
Atheists operate more from their egos than from the Spirit of God. Their reality is predicated on what they sense. Consequently, they are limiting their scope because our senses are too limited to experience the enormity and inner beauty of the omniverse.
Most of the atheists I have encountered are more ego-centered than being considerate of others' 'beliefs' or conclusions. They dismiss what they term as ‘my beliefs’ as beliefs without considering them as being my ‘knowing’.
Atheism IS a belief system just like religions. Spirituality is NOT a belief system; it IS an experience of your inner divinity despite the contradictions, beliefs and agendas of others.
It is KNOWING the divinity within and living from it MORE than your ego. Be ye therefore living from your inner spirit! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

REMEMBER WHAT'S IMPORTANT
Always remember that what you forget will always remind you to remember what’s important. What’s important?
That you always be reminded of what you have forgotten because it was meant for you to act on it in some way.
Being forgetful is part of remembering just as much as remembering is a part of being forgetful. Why do we forget anything?
Because in the reminding of what we have forgotten comes the passion of co-creation that is necessary for positive action.
Remembrance is easy when you make the time to immerse yourself in your inner spirit. Forgetfulness is a tool of co-creation; it’s part of the honing process.
As long as you know that your ego reminds you of something that you want to forget, you will remember that you are essentially a spiritual being having a human experience and not the other way around. Don’t forget! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

RELIGION AND POLITICS
We all live with religion and politics whether we want to admit it or not! Our laws, freedoms and liberties all revolve around religion and politics. It is because we all avoid these topics of conversation that our leaders make decisions FOR us and not BY us.
We need to raise our voices in a giant chorus of using the morals of religion to craft our laws to apply to ALL; especially, our politicians. We allow our politicians to lie, accept bribes and manifest corporate agendas with impunity.
We allow religions to infiltrate our government and impose their belief systems upon all of us. Perhaps it’s time for us all to stop avoiding talking about politics and religion and start an effective and constructive dialogue that establishes the proper ground rules in our government.
If we resist or avoid that which needs fixing, it will continue to remain broken until we deal with it and allow our mutual understanding to grow and expand into applying effective solutions. If we are responsible and accountable we NEED to discuss politics and religion! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

MY SECRET LIFE
I have been accused by an ex-friend of having a ‘secret’ life; one that is hidden from the rest of you. One where I enter alone and plot to deceive every one of whom and what I truly am. And why would he say this about me? Could it be that his delusion is so strong that he is projecting his own aberrance on me? Or could it be that he is right on the money?
The fact is that I do have a secret life. It is one where I go every day and be one with the Divine. It is where I go to escape the potholes of the world and bask in the peace, understanding, joy and Divine love that only the Creator can give. It is not in a bottle of alcohol or a drug induced stupor; it is not deceiving anyone; it is not in being someone other than who I am.
When others don’t understand your relationship with Divine love they sometimes seek to undermine it simply because they don’t understand it or don’t believe in it; most of all, they don’t allow it to exist and look to drugs and alcohol to satisfy their comfort zone.
They blame you for their problems because they are not accepting the responsibility of living their lives sober and they are not holding themselves accountable for their actions. They are being themselves because you made them do it. Get away from these people; pray for them, but don’t allow them to rent space in your head.
When you can’t see beyond you and your needs, how will you ever be able to understand and help others meet theirs. When you don’t trust your friends who have been good to you and have been there for you when you were down, you deserve all the consequences you get.
Sometimes what appears to be bad in your life is NOT your fault; it is there for you to handle it maturely and without acrimony in order to live the principles you espouse. Be ye therefore centered in your ‘secret’ life! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

BE A LOVER
Once you get over being a fighter the only thing left is for you to be a lover.
Allow the Divine within to guide your steps and you will never have to fight again.
It is when you choose to fight that you have lost before you have even started.
God loves you and you will stop fighting when you love yourself as the Divine loves you.

When you are entrenched in the battle, you seek not the light of understanding, but the ability to overcome what you perceive is harming you. The tunnel vision of being in combat mode restricts your vision and fine tunes your abilities to resist, fight and defend what you perceive is yours.
Moving towards peace brings infinite understanding. Divine understanding brings inner joy. Inner joy brings feelings of Divine love. Divine love brings feelings of inner peace. It is a virtuous circle of being the Divine in action.

PERCEPTION OF REALITY
When you believe that everything is based on your choices it is empowering to your 'perception' of reality. However, to believe that your choices affect factors beyond your perceived control and dynamic influence is utterly ludicrous to me.
If your choices can stop an 'accident' of a comet or asteroid hitting the earth, this I gotta see! Let’s get real people about the cause and effect of reality. It is NOT based on your perception as such; it is based on the omniversal laws of movement by energy exchange between objects and forces that exist outside of your direct influence.
You can perceive all you want that your choices make a difference when the natural world is acting naturally; the truth of the matter is that Divine order affects natural order by your allowance of it and NOT your perception of it being willed into existence by your ego’s choices, or lack thereof. ~Dean A. IF THE SHOE FITS...
Billionaires who got rich off of the backs of the worker class know who they are; if the shoe fits, then they should wear it in honesty.
Some are philanthropic and some take their 'financial status' into government to affect the laws that protect their accumulation and non-taxing of their wealth.
This IS hypocritical! Cronyism applies when the rich 'believe' that they are better than the rest of us and can craft laws in government to protect their interests.
Don’t buy their line that what they are doing is for the greater good of all; it is for THEIR greater good ONLY! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
THE FREE MARKET
The 'free' market is NOT free! It is manipulated by those who have a great deal of money. That has been proven time and time again! What the proponents mean when they say ‘free’ market actually means a ‘deregulated’ market where they can buy and sell whatever they want at whatever costs and margins they determine for them to make a profit; and re-circulate that money while minimizing any tax burdens.
Free, in this sense, is stacking the deck in their favor and at our expense financially, economically and environmentally. Don’t allow the ‘free market’ proponents to piss on all of us and tell us that it is raining. Impose regulations that limit their over-the-top financial advantages (including unfair tax shelters), don’t allow our economy to be unduly influenced and reject negative environmental impacts.
The negative downward trend in the market began with Reagan and has been recently hitting all of us the past few years. Put a stop to the bleeding. The band-aids aren’t working anymore. JOYS AND PITFALLS
Ah, the joys and pitfalls of human interactions are invigorating! Revealing the absurdity in things and the greedy motivation of humans trying to appear ‘helpful’ has given me an edge on life that stimulates me with each and every breath.
I feel blessed form my inner well-being and I am moving forward with Divine love. No matter what befalls me I know that I am loved by the Divine. I know that I will be blessed more and more each time a new ‘surprise’ presents itself.

SEA OF ENERGIES
We are immersed in a sea of energies that have eddys and currents that move us whether or not we splash while treading water.
If we move with the currents and are thankful for the results no matter what, we acclimate ourselves to Divine order.
The benefits of negative outcomes are NOT realized unless you are grateful for EVERY occurrence. When 'shit happens' it is a blessing in disguise.
You did not necessarily create it; it is up to you to deal with it in a proactive fashion. Be ye therefore aware of the subtle movements of Divine order in the omniverse. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
DELUSIONAL MIND
It is amazing how the delusional mind of an alcoholic can create scenarios in their mind that NEVER fit reality. When it's all about ‘you’, everything else that exists is secondary to the maintenance of your aberrance.
When you have conversations with an alcoholic and they never remember them, it is a clear indication that certain parts of their brains are shut down to reality.
Living with delusion is the only thing that remains to comfort them and maintain their state of aberrance. May God bless them and awaken them to the presence of the Divine within. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
