OPEN EYES
Are your eyes open? Can you see all around you and gain a perspective of whether or not you are safe and secure or whether or not people are trying to use and abuse you? Are you using your inner single eye of spiritual discernment to know the truth or are you relying on your dualistic physical eyes to ‘believe’ in what you perceive as the truth?
Universal values and principles are known by the discernment of whether or not someone produces good fruit. NOT what someone says they are producing; but what they really ARE producing! It takes your inner eye to see into the hearts of others and come to know their true motivations.
If everything they do seems to edify only themselves and their families and friends it is quite clear that they are using their dualistic eyes of belief. If everything they do seems to edify the conditions of everyone, then they using their single eye that knows what is best for all.
Don’t be deceived by those who present logical arguments based on physical facts; for it is in what is NOT seen that creates what is seen. Logic deals with the result and intuition deals with the cause. As within, so without. Go to the source of all life and keep your inner and outer eyes open to that which appears to be true and sound.
When you look into the hearts of beings is when you come to know the truth of their motivations surrounded by the fruits they have bore. Your dualistic eyes see their actions and behaviors and your inner eye sees their true motivations. Be ye therefore discerning of both worlds in your heart! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
BEING WEALTHY
What is it about being wealthy that your fear? Are you fearful that you might be rejected by your family and friends? Do you believe that if you are rich that you have to be dishonest? Were you taught that it is good to sacrifice wealth now so that you will be wealthy in heaven?
All of these things are LEARNED behaviors based on repetitive thoughts that you have accepted as true and have become cemented beliefs in your subconscious mind. Do you feel guilty if you are earning more than your family members and friends? Are you always trying to fit in with the crowd instead of standing out in the crowd? Do you believe that all rich people are evil and selfish and because of that you don’t want to be like them?
Again, learned beliefs that you have not validated because you have already accepted them as true. Are you always defending your infirmities and keep getting sick because you get attention from others? Are you jealous of others who seem to always get what they want instead of being happy for them? Do you believe that it is more spiritual to be poor and destitute than to be rich and fulfilled?
Again, more learned feelings that you have accepted as true without extensive validation. Have you moved from one relationship to another and end up with the same type of person? Do you repeatedly speak judgmentally about money and rich people as being bad? Do you repeatedly make excuses to justify where you are now financially?
Again, more learned beliefs unchallenged by validation. Finally, do you see yourself as the one who defends others who are being taken advantage of by donning your Robin Hood suit? Are you looking for sympathy from others because you are sick, broke or frustrated?
Have you moved toward stability in your relationships by maintaining your health, developing your wealth, living in prosperity and always knowing that you exist in abundance? Are you watching life go by or are you participating in it? Please go and take the prosperity quiz by Randy Gage.

NUDGES
When it is time to move on, the omniverse gently nudges you. If you do not notice its nudges, it will jar you. If you do not notice its jars it will turn your world upside down until you listen.
You are always being moved forward in time by your future destiny and it gives you subtle clues as to how to proceed. If you continually allow your ego to run interference on its advice and direction you will end up in a valley of doubt, worry and fear.
You don’t need to know what might happen! You need to trust in that which allows you to slide effortlessly into peace; that which understands more than you will ever know; that which emanates the joy of living; and that which bathes you each and every moment in Divine love everlasting.

MONEY
Money is NOT the root of all evil. The LOVE of money is not the root of all evil. The lust to fulfill the ego’s selfish yearnings over the Divine desires of the Spirit of God IS the root of all evil.
This lust comes from the belief in the ego’s ability to control, dominate and manipulate Divine order to its own end; a fool’s journey!
The more you seek to gain more than others from the greed for conquest the more you separate yourself from that which supplies everything!
In essence, you are cutting yourself off from your own good to satisfy your ego’s conviction that it is in control.
Let go of the yearnings to wield power and authority over others and challenge yourself to be that which you were created to be.
Share your talents, skills and abilities in Divine service to others and give that which you desire the most.
In this action you will be freeing yourself from the control that your ego believes it has and which your spirit knows it doesn’t have. Be ye therefore honest with yourself and giving to others! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
YOU CANNOT LOVE MONEY
What I am saying is that you cannot 'love' money.
What Timothy had said was, "But the root of all these evils is the love of money, and there are some who have desired it and have erred from the faith and have brought themselves many miseries" ~1st Timothy 6:10 (Aramaic Bible in Plain English).
The word 'love' was used but the correct translation is 'covet'. If you lust or cover after money it consumes you.
When you read the correct and direct translations you learn that what was taught in most churches and Sunday Schools is completely WRONG!!! Peace. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
FOCUS
Believe it or not, most people who have a great deal of money do not focus on money all of the time. They focus on living in freedom and making the time to what they can for their family, friends and community. They are NOT inherently evil. They have money because they have gotten past the desperate NEED for it and have channeled what they want in their lives into a workable paradigm.
Go after your passion in life and do it to the fullest and money will NEVER be a problem. When you make it a problem you are resisting it and making it more than it actually is. Money is the medium of the exchange of value in products and services. It naturally flows when you let go of the NEED to have it and develop the want of manifesting your Divine purpose in Divine order.
As the joy of love flows from your heart into your passion, so too will money when you focus on what benefits yourself and others. Let go of the programming that we all have been taught that money is filthy lucre; it doesn’t grow on trees; and that it creates greed. It is what people do with money that is either positive or negative just like the correct statement about money is:

THE SATISFACTION
OF BEING RIGHT
Why is that too many people nay say what others do? Is it because they somehow know that what others do will lead to their undoing? Or is it because they want to be recognized for dispensing sound advice based on THEIR experiences? The ego always wants others to recognize its value and worth. It will go out of its way to prove itself right just to be recognized for its ‘superior’ knowledge. Huh?
How can a construct of biological processes from an individual perspective have ‘superior’ knowledge? It can access ‘superior’ knowledge but it cannot possess it. Superior knowledge comes from Divine communication only. Listening to the ego’s yearnings for control, domination and manipulation and carrying out its demands further separates you from Divine understanding. Listening within to the Divine desires in your heart and carrying out what Divine guidance has revealed brings your ego into surrendering to Divine Oneness.
Only in letting go of any perception that you are right about what is beyond the valley of the ego will you be able to ‘see’ beyond your current circumstances and into the realm of living in a Divine perspective. Climb to the mountaintop and see the beauty surrounding you more than the din of egoic selfishness. Lift yourself out of the chaos ad go within to your center of peace. It is there that all is real, understanding is prevalent, joy abounds and Divine love truly rules. Be ye therefore centered within! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
WHAT YOU HAVE
OBSERVED
What you believe about something is not what that something is; it is what you have observed, perceived and evaluated in its relevance to you. Just as our shared reality is an electro-chemical copy of that reality in our brains, it is not what that reality is.
Our beliefs are choices of the significance of our repeated thoughts to our ongoing survival. We are naturally wired this way for self-protection. Every day we must immerse our beings in the center of peace to discharge any and all erroneous beliefs that we hold as true without their ongoing validation.
Without that, we will continue to believe what is not true in favor of what is true in order to feel safe, secure and comforted. It is in choosing to allow that which elevates our consciousness to ‘knowing’ reality that we have forged the path to thriving amid the erroneous beliefs that are actively holding us back from our individual fulfillment. ~Dean A. LIVING FROM THE PAST
If you base your life on what you once were, you are living from the past. If you base your life on what you are going to be, you are living from your future. If you base your life on what you are now, you are living in the only reality that exists.
Where you are now is the result of who you once thought you were, what you have experienced, where you came from, how you got here, when you ‘arrived’ and why you proceeded here.
Where you will be is the result of who you are now, what you choose to do, where you plan to go, how you plan to get there, when you plan to arrive and why you are choosing to be there. In this moment you are experiencing a current reality that can become the reality of what you know you were created to be simply by letting go of what has happened in the past and what can happen in the future.
By being here now and realizing that time unfolds based on your choices and decisions of ‘how’ to proceed, you come to conclude that you were created to ‘be’ more than ‘do’. Too many people believe what they do and what they create are who they are. Instead, be what you are and create ‘from’ that and NOT the other way around!
BE ye therefore PERFECT; NOT do ye therefore perfect! Base your life on what you know is right for you! Only you know that and what others believe you are matters not. Focus more on ‘being’ than ‘doing’ and you will come to know that you are the expression of Divine love everlasting looking for a place to share that love ad infinitum! Be blessed! ~Dean A. BEARING GOOD FRUIT
When you choose to ignore that which is slapping you in the face it reveals that you are more self-centered than concerned, more self-recognizing than giving and more self-aggrandizing than living in equanimity.
Whatever is more important to you is always revealed in the fruits that you bear. There is NO escaping this! Know that what you hold true and fuel emotionally will be co-created in your existence.

If the true divinity wanted worship, then the Divine would be anthropomorphized in every belief system.
Since it isn't, it is safe to entertain the thought that what the Divine wants is for us is to love one another and all of life more than worship a divine ego!

HAVING A LITTLE FUN?
What can be said about those who care more about being serious than having a little fun? Are they too stiff to let go or are they simply too focused on how others perceive them?
Could it be that we are so blinded by our perceptions of reality that we miss the value in our experiences? Or are we too consumed with form and not concerned enough with substance?
We are the answer to every question whether we realize it or not. Somewhere inside of us is the answer and it is up to us to find it. Go within and know the truth more than believing what you are experiencing outside of yourself.

NOT A 'GAY' AGENDA
Asking to be treated as everyone else is treated is not a 'gay' agenda. It is something that no one should have to ask for; it should be freely given.
The only real agenda comes from the warped Christian viewpoint based on misinterpretations in the Bible.
Homosexuals have been around long before Christianity even was conceived. It's about time that we all recognize them as being people just like us.

LIVING YOUR DREAM
Why aren’t you living your dream? Why are you doing all the right things, at the right time with the right people and still not living in your dream? Could it be that you are not doing one thing that is holding you back? If so, what IS that one thing?
It is in your understanding of the process of letting go. Letting your dream go into the omniverse to be fulfilled will NEVER happen as long as you keep trying to determine HOW it is going to happen.
Your ego wants to be recognized for its ingenuity and it keeps trying to control, dominate and manipulate events, occurrences, situations, circumstances and the behaviors of others AND yourself to demonstrate its self-worth.
When things appear to be going against your fulfillment pivot from them and give thanks for them occurring. Why? Because when your ego fights and resists what is occurring it creates more of the same in your future.
Accept things as they are; reject what you know is not working; allow yourself to be guided by Divine love and watch your fulfillment unfold perfectly in Divine order. Choose to not attach any emotions to what is happening and expect the best to come about in Divine order for EVERYONE!!!
That, in itself, is ‘trusting’ the Divine to initiate Divine order to MOVE natural order for the good of everyone. Stop allowing your ego to ride herd over your every move.
When you trust completely you let go completely and allow the best to unfold. Be ye therefore trusting and allowing! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

WHAT GIVES?
THE EGO'S DECEPTION
Claiming that living imperfectly is living a fabulous life is listening to the deception of the ego.
As long as the ego claims it is imperfect, it has a way out of accepting responsibility for its actions.
Living perfectly in Divine love is the greatest delight! Why? Because if you declare imperfection that is all you will ever see and experience.
Claim your divine right of living in Divine love perfectly and delight in the greatest joy known to humankind! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
LIVING IN FEAR
Living in fear of what 'might' happen actually contributes to making it happen by the emotional resistance of it possibly happening. Whatever you focus your thoughts on and fuel with your emotions co-creates the end result of those thoughts and emotions. Why not deal with ignorance by allowing it to be what it is and moving toward what it isn't? We are not going to change the ignorance of others by fighting it; we will change it by not allowing it to be spread unchecked by the truth.
Ignorance relies on erroneous beliefs. Beliefs are nothing more than repeated thoughts that we accept as true without the necessary validation of their recurring probability. Without feelings behind them, beliefs are simply thoughts that have been repeated so much that we accept them as being true without testing their validity. When feelings fuel our beliefs they become our intentions to speak, act and behave to fulfill their obvious agenda. Whether based on fear or faith, the omniverse responds with the like condition in order to substantiate our premises. What appears to be true is actually a reflection of our projection and becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
We need to continually validate our beliefs with ‘facts’ and not conjecture in order to experience truth. In our world we are constantly hit with ‘possibilities’ of things happening without knowing whether or not they will ‘probably’ happen. Our contribution to the possibilities actually helps co-create the probabilities of them happening because we ‘believe’ that they will happen. This is why it so important for us to constantly test our beliefs in our belief systems so that we don’t co-create what we don’t want unconsciously instead of co-creating what we want consciously.
As long as we observe the facts, validate their possible outcomes and look within for the answers to their probabilities, we will be on the road to truth more than conjecture. Be ye therefore prudent in acceptance of what appears to be true without being properly validated! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

LONG AGO
This picture was taken in the early fall of 1979 at the Christening of my son, Parmon Christian Banks. He is now 37 years old and has a family of 6 children. I named him after the Greek philosopher “Parmenides” whom I admired a great deal.
However, he now goes by Chris and has dropped his first name. In the picture, in the front row from left to right, is myself, my wife at the time, Mirna, my son in her arms, Ann Wright (Chris’s Godmother and mother of Gary “Dreamweaver” Wright and Lorna Wright (whom I performed with) and my mother, Marie R. Banks.
In the back row is Lorna Wright (who told me that I should have named him “Robin” (Ha Ha)), the friend that introduced my wife and I, Jan Dubin, and my brother (now deceased) Charles. Taking the picture was Chris’s Godfather, Frankie Gaye (Marvin Gaye’s younger brother (now deceased)).

IT NEVER WORKS
When will we all learn that fighting and resisting NEVER works? When will we stop programming and reprogramming aggression and violence into ourselves, our children and the world? When will we see the fruits from this programming as result of us ignoring our responsibility for co-creating it? When will we realize that the choices we have made to fight and resist that which we believe is against us is the cause of our own undoing?
Every war we have chosen to wage we have lost; the War on Drugs, the War on Diseases and the War on Poverty. Until we STOP waging war on what we BELIEVE is against us we will be caught in an endless loop of restocking the troops in order to continue the battle. Carl Jung clearly stated that what we resist persists. Christ clearly said “Resist ye not evil.” Yet, we ignore the advice of those who knew more than us about how life really works in favor of our own selfish yearnings to control, dominate and manipulate what we BELIEVE is against us.
Instead of allowing it to be what it is and NOT attaching any resistive emotions to it, we continually choose the road of aggression and violence. We ALL need to GROW UP!!! We all need to be responsible and accountable for our childish actions. Until we do, we will continue to live in war and reap the fruits of death and destruction. SHARING THE LIGHT
As the ground cracks from the ongoing pressure of the forces of change, an inner light is revealed to escape from its prison of concealment of the status-quo. As the light escapes we see the result of the inner forces of change and come to know that the light of truth is within each and every one of us.
By sharing that light we allow peace to grow between those living in chaos; we allow understanding to be sought instead of derision; we learn to live in joy with each other more than sorrow; and we learn to share our talents, skills and abilities with others in Divine love.
We are the solution to our perceived problems and it is up to us to learn from each other how to think, speak and act accordingly. THE MORE CHARGE
Like a magnet hovering in a copper pipe; the more charge it has when it interacts with the copper pipe, the more it appears to hover before gravity kicks in. As in life, the more charge you emit, the more you can float on air!
Slow down the onset of negative beliefs that hold you back and squelch your progress. Float down the pipe of despair and solitude; settle peacefully on the ground as your inner charge breaks your fall.
Be that which is positive, uplifting and calming. Don’t fight the forces that hinder you; allow them to be and hit the ground running with Divine joy! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
THE SAME TIME
If you believe that time and space are just an illusion, then try being in the street at the same time of a car and feel the illusion. They are a reflection of a projection that operates according to physics; most of the time!
We exist within this matrix of the perceived dualistic reality and we are inextricably tied to it! When we learn that we are the consciousness observing the sensed dance of perception, we will come to know that the illusion of reality is a needed part of a shared reality.
As a wave has a crest and trough to be complete so are we complete when we balance our lower selves with our higher selves. We move forward in grace and live in a sea of Divine love. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

WHAT YOU DIDN'T DO
It’s never about what you did, it’s seems to always be what you didn’t do. You are living in the result of what you have done and what you haven’t done. Your actions are a result of what you have been thinking fueled by your emotions. Your behaviors come from the actions you have chosen to take. What you don’t do is just as important as what you do. If you have overlooked or forgotten something critical in your life do NOT beat yourself up over it. Learn from it!
Know that what you have forgotten is something that you ‘believed’ was a certain way or acted in a certain way. Never pass over details with assumptions that they will act that way you have always thought that they have acted. What you assume will undo your progress. Examine every area of your life and strive to correct your erroneous beliefs for you to thrive in your Divine purpose. Everyday see what you desire the most; feel the joy of having it; and let it go into the omniverse for it to do its thing. Never fret over how it will happen; trust that it will happen just the way it is supposed to in Divine order.
Trust means that you cut all the strings and let it happen in Divine order. You are a beautiful expression of Divine love. Be that more than what you ‘believe’ you are. Your beliefs will fool you each and every time. Know the blessings of Divine love and share THAT each and every day. It’s up to you to allow your greatness to unfold. Choose it, allow it and feel it. It has been, is and always will be you who ultimately has the choice. Be ye therefore forgiving of yourself AND others! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
YOU CANNOT LOVE MONEY
What I am saying is that you cannot 'love' money.
What Timothy had said was, "But the root of all these evils is the love of money, and there are some who have desired it and have erred from the faith and have brought themselves many miseries" ~1st Timothy 6:10 (Aramaic Bible in Plain English).
The word 'love' was used but the correct translation is 'covet'. If you lust or cover after money it consumes you.
When you read the correct and direct translations you learn that what was taught in most churches and Sunday Schools is completely WRONG!!! Peace. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
PASSING PEACEFULLY
Whatever it is that you allow in your life will pass through peacefully. Why? Because when you don’t react, reject or resist it you are not fueling it with emotion.
Understanding that it is just passing through brings you joy. Living in joy begets Divine love and that, in itself, brings peace; and the process keeps repeating itself leading to the complete and utter perfect fulfillment of your Divine purpose in Divine order.
Let what you don’t want in your life leave gracefully and allow what you do want to enter peacefully. Be ye therefore an observer more than reactor! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
