It always strikes me funny that those who espouse government conspiracy theories call upon supposed NASA ‘information’ and tainted emails between government officials as evidence to support their disbelief in ‘global warming’. They choose to be completely devoid of common sense and choose to support unsubstantiated rhetoric in favor of their obvious nay-saying.

Now, the last time I checked NASA IS a part of the US government! How can you claim government conspiracies and then use that government’s evidence to back up your claims? Isn’t that like calling your friend a liar and putting a spin on his research study to prove that he is a liar? Facts are facts. Opinions are opinions. We are entitled to our own opinions but NOT to our own facts (Daniel Patrick Moynihan).

The facts have shown that the increased levels of CO2 are raising the overall temperature of the planet! What causes this? Greenhouse gasses that trap the residual heat from the Sun in our atmosphere. You can nay say this all you want and it won’t amount to a hill of beans; more like a hill of the gasses from the beans that smell like bullshit. Go ahead; deny the facts with charts and rhetoric paid for by Republican think tanks (an obvious misnomer).

Go ahead, claim conspiracies about the facts while someone sprays chemicals over your head in the skies. While you were looking to nay say that which is true you are being distracted from what is really going on. That is your choice and that is your right. KNOWING GOD

Knowing God is listening to his still small voice within; just where Christ said to go! If you believe that God’s inner voice of silence is satanic, then you are NOT listening to God. You will know the truth of God by what you are told.

If what you are told adds to life then it is from God; if it takes away then it is satanic or egoic. How can listening to what God guides you to do be blasphemous and seditious?

How can listening to God come 'before' God? Anyone that believes that God’s inner voice of silence is satanic is not logical, has an egotistical agenda or is simply a fool. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

YOUR PROBLEMS

Stop fighting, resisting or running away from your problems! Until you do, they will always command your attention and hence, your life. Be free from confrontation and allow that which is to be what it is without attaching any emotions to it.

Never fight, resist or run away from your problems. They are there for you to grow and expand into allowing the Divine to guide your life and teach your ego that it isn’t all that. Life doesn’t revolve around you; it comes forth from you into the vastness of the omniverse.

Make sure that which you co-create ADDS to life more than it takes away from life and you will be living in health, wealth, prosperity and abundance.

The only reason you won’t is because you have chosen NOT to live in Divine peace, Divine understanding, Divine joy and Divine love and have chosen to follow the selfish selfish yearnings and whims of your ego. Be ye therefore living in Divine wisdom everlasting! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

TAKING IT PERSONALLY

Some of you seem to be taking my posts personally.

I’m so sorry, but I always say that if the shoe fits wear it. If it doesn’t, then throw it at me if you like.

THE 1%

The reason the 1% have grown in resources is because they fear that others will capitalize on what they ‘believe’ are limited resources. They scramble and hob knob to secure their ‘piece of the pie’ so that they can make money off of money at the expense of other peoples’ hard work.

There is nothing wrong with being rich and utilizing resources to make money off of products and services. There IS something wrong with taking advantage of people in order to make more income than you can ever use; much like what corporate banks and Wall Street does each and every day!

Until we the people, completely regulate the 1% and their aberrances, we will always be behind their eight ball. Regulation keeps the dishonest honest and deregulation makes the dishonest MORE dishonest and MORE aberrant. Don’t listen to the Mitch McConnell, John Boehner and their constituencies; they are the LIARS and their selfish agendas MUST be stopped. We can do it! Stop these liars and thieves from financially raping all of us. They should be tried for TREASON! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

COMMENTOR: With this concept I only ever have 1 question: HOW are we to regulate the 1% in a way that is effective and makes them accountable for crimes against everything? (The planet, the people, the animals)

We draft and enforce laws that encourage investment in HUMAN capital MORE than just financial capital. We look to the fact that our human resource is the most valuable asset that we have and we encourage innovation and progress. We educate people in how to think critically and live honestly with each other. it is doable; but how do we do it when all of us continually elect crooks to represent us? ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

FEELING THE SPIRIT

In essence, the message in the meme as stated: “Spiritual growth is a myth. We only shed our ideas of fragmented self and realize that we are already whole”, is correct on the surface. However, growth in anything requires a replacement of the old with the new that has been borne from the old.

Actually, spiritual growth is an accurate term describing the growth of our consciousness from that of a child to an adult and to complete person who trusts in the Divine. It is not that our spirit grows; it is that our ‘understanding’ of our true spiritual nature grows.

As we expand our understanding of spirit into our lives we, in essence, are growing like the germinated seed pushes through the ground toward the light of the Sun. We shed the old to become the new with an awareness of SELF more than self.

The growth of our consciousness is NOT a myth or a misnomer; it actually does grow into a greater understanding of Creation. Sometimes things appear to be true and accurate until they are validated under the light of Divine understanding.

DESPICABLE!

Several years ago I volunteered to pick up donation food for some of the struggling families in our neighborhood. The church that I pick up the food for takes care of many families. The pastor works herself so hard every week helping single women with children to survive. One night, she called me because her car had broken down and asked me to pick up the donation food from the Wawa stores. I went to the first store and they were so nice to me. The manager and the workers were smiling and friendly. I got the food and drove to the Newark store for the second pickup. I had been there before and the manager and workers were friendly; however, I did not know that the store had new managers.

I brought in the special bags that they require for food pickup (???). The manager could not find the form I had to sign in the folder for food donations. He went to the computer and tried to find it and couldn’t. I suggested that he copy one of the old forms and I would sign it. He refused and told me that he couldn’t release the food without a signature on a ‘clean’ form. I reluctantly thanked him and went out to the car. I kept wondering why he couldn’t make a copy so that I could get the food to help these families. As I sat in my car I watched one of the workers take the bag of frozen ‘extra’ non-sold items and drop them in the dumpster out back. I was livid! Simply because HE couldn’t find a form that, if he was organized and efficient, would have been readily accessible.

As a result, the food I had gotten from the other store had to be stretched out between two families. Now, I must say, I am very appreciative to Wawa Corporation for their diligence in helping those who need extra food in the community. Their employees and managers have always been helpful until last night. Just because someone cannot find a piece of paper that allows Wawa to get a tax deduction for food donations does not justify throwing good food into the dumpster that could have fed hungry children.

I believe this manager should be disciplined for his ineptitude and sheer selfishness. I don’t care about his political or religious affiliations; I don’t care about what his excuses are; I don’t care that he is so lazy and inept that he cannot be organized and helpful. What I care about is the fact that his actions affected others who were dependent on his accuracy and efficiency. And what did he do?

He took the easy way out and threw out the food. When anyone of us chooses what is more convenient for us over what others desperately need is pure selfishness. I will be writing a letter to Wawa about this selfish and inept manager; who cares more about procedure than the content of helping others. It is nothing but pure ego and selfishness. If you disagree, then look in the mirror and see the manager there. I suggest you do something about it before you end up like him. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

TOO MUCH IS NEVER ENOUGH

What can anyone get too much of yet it is never enough to satisfy them? Drugs, alcohol, food, money or attention? Drugs and alcohol can be a psychological or physiological addiction where a person thinks they need enough or they chemically feel they need enough to feel better than how they currently feel. Money is a big addiction for many not because it has attributes in of and as itself; it is what one feels they can do with money that they yearn for or how it makes them feel to have more than most. Attention is another addiction that people substitute as love because they have never truly felt what real love is and how it makes them feel.

Then, what is the biggest and most lethal addiction? Is it what you believe about yourself and others or is it what you want them to believe about you and how you treat others? Ego is the worst addiction because it always looks to itself for all the vain glory, attention and/or money. It believes that everyone wants the power to control, dominate and manipulate others into doing what they yearn for and feel that it ‘deserves’. It will lash out at the truth to justify its own actions in ensuring its own survival; even at the expense and detriment to others. Each and every day it reassures us that its judgment is sound; even more than the guidance of the Spirit of God.

Most of humankind is addicted to their egos without even knowing it. They believe that they are something that they are not in order to feel good about themselves. They deny the truth in favor of their personal agendas in order to ‘get their piece of the pie’. They believe that in ‘having’ that piece of the pie that somehow they are endowed with the power to please themselves unceasingly.

In reality, the only addiction that is a ‘good’ addiction is the daily practice of prayer, meditation and service to others. Praying allows you to look beyond your ego and recognize that any perception you have of being in control is illusory at best. It makes you distinguish between your needs, wants, desires and expectations in order to let go of how they will be fulfilled. Meditation allows you to experience inner peace, Divine understanding, joy and Divine love. In the silence and stillness the Divine reveals ‘how’ you are to proceed. Service allows you to take the guidance you have received and share it with others to bless their lives. All three practices constitute Divine communication and allow you to unfold your Divine purpose in Divine order.
