EXPRESSING LOVE
Our Divine Spirit of all creation has created us by expressing love for us to learn how to express love with each other and all of creation.
When we choose any other direction than love we are moving away from Oneness with our Creator toward the self-serving force of our egos.
We can stop ourselves from moving in that direction by allowing the joy, peace and understanding of the Spirit of God to guide the unfolding of our Divine purpose in Divine order.
Choose to live love every moment and embrace who and what you are. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTIONS
It has been said that asking the right questions can lead to answers that bring you closer to a deeper understanding of your Divine purpose. Socrates employed a method known as the Socratic Dialectic which used a dialogue of answering questions by asking questions instead of attempting to answer questions. The goal of this dialogue is to establish the truth by reasoned arguments. It uses logic to get closer to an understanding of self. Differing from a debate and from the use of rhetoric, asking more questions ultimately leads to a greater understanding of the truth.
Socrates valued the truth as the highest value in life and that it could be attained by rational arguments. Debates are arguments between those committed to their points of view and looking to win their arguments. Rhetoric is where someone uses discourse in seeking pity for their stance and position on certain issues in order to win others over to their understanding of life. In our current world, debate and rhetoric too often take center stage over a rational dialectic. By asking the right questions we begin to open our minds more to receive Divine guidance through intuition.
What questions do we need to ask ourselves in order to gain a deeper understanding of self and ultimately, SELF? Who, what, where, how, when and why are the six questions that open the door inward towards SELF and puts a check on self. Who are you? Are you your car, your clothes, your body or your creations? Or are you an infinite spirit manifesting yourself in a physical body. Are you a body having a spiritual experience or are you a spirit having a physical experience? What are you? Are you an amalgamation of blood and guts or are you an individualized expression of the Divine Creator? Where are you? Are you a timeless spirit or are you a finite being stuck here in a corner on this rock called Earth? How do you become one with your inner spirit? Is it something you have to set as a goal to attain or is it something that you just allow to happen? When is it that you become manifest with your Divine purpose? Is it when you realize that the Spirit of God is within you and you listen to its guidance or is it when you just become determined and willful to manifest your desires? Why are you here? Are you here to manifest and share love or are you here to make others yield to your ego?
Answering these questions reveals just where you are in relation to your understanding of spirit. Always questions every question you ask of yourself. As was once said on the TV series “Kung Fu”, “I seek not to know the answers, but to understand the questions.” When you begin to understand why you ask any question in the first place, it leads to a greater understanding of self in order to open the communication channel with SELF. Your Higher SELF is the Spirit of God expressing love through you where your lower self is your ego and its quest for self-survival at all costs. Aligning yourself with your Divine purpose in Divine order is your ultimate goal. Asking the right questions helps to align you with SELF in order to open the channel of Divine communication through intuition. May your lotus blossom beautifully from within and touch everyone in your world this coming year. Question yourself. Question others. Question Authority. Question your questions. Peace and blessings to all. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
