NOT IN TOUCH WITH SPIRIT

When someone you love won’t believe you, denies your experience and talks down to you like you are beneath them, feel the hurt and realize that they are not in touch with their spirit. If they were, they would give you the opportunity to tell them the truth, give consideration to your experience and treat you with respect despite their opinion of you. Their behavior clearly reflects that their egos are in charge and there is no room in their heart for anything other than what they ‘believe’ has happened. They have forged a wall of beliefs that are so rigid and unmoving because if they allowed any other possibility to exist, it would shatter their comfort zone.

Pray for their peace, understanding, love and joy. Let them go and know that you have lived in honesty and have done what is right. Their hurtful words are designed to make them feel better and not you at all. What they don’t realize is that their emotionally charged opinions, attitudes and beliefs don’t take the experience of others into account. Someday they might grow up and come to know that it was them who chose to build those walls and NOT you.

Come to know that the pain you feel from hurtful words is because you truly love the person who is hurtful to you. Trust in the Divine to implement and unfold Divine order; it is your job to discharge the hurt and replace it with Divine love. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

THE LONG JOURNEY

It takes thousands of years for one photon of light released from solar fusion to make it to the surface of the Sun. During that time it refuses with hydrogen recreating helium and releasing more photons ad infinitum. Finally after its journey from matter to energy and back, it gets released from the confines of the Sun and takes 8 minutes to get to the Earth. It arrives as pure light or plasma in the solar wind or from a CME (Coronal Mass Ejection). It arrives on Earth and again converts from energy back to matter when it is absorbed through photosynthesis or heat creation.

It is the same photon changing states over and over again and continuing the process of life; much the same with our spirit. We all share the same Spirit of God and when that spirit flows through our individual bodily chemistry we express it as our individual souls. We release that spirit upon the death of our bodies and it never dies. It is eternal and will embody someone else someday.

We are all connected from spirit to energy to matter and back. Why not be thankful for that experience and share the gift of Divine love with all every day? Why not be the beauty that we were created to be? Why not? ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

THE EMBODIMENT OF LIGHT

Every molecule in your body is the embodiment of Light. It is energy in a denser form that expresses itself in union and in tandem with other molecules to produce the necessary chemical interactions that release themselves as thought energy. This thought energy projects itself to move more molecules and create an environmental expression that creates a cause that the environment reflects back to you. Your emotions then react to that ‘effect’ and move more molecules within your body. It is an ongoing electro-chemical process that is ‘moved’ by the transference of energy from one state to another.

We are immersed in our environments and they are a part of us as we are a part of them. The transference of energy is impersonal and continues without our participation at a molecular level. When we become aware that we can affect the motion of molecules from within through effective prayer, meditation and service, we begin to transcend our awareness of the confines of molecular interaction into the freedom and healing of the experience of being Light.

We are beings of Light learning to unlearn what we have been taught in order to experience the freedom of reality from the inside out and not from the outside in. Breathe in the environment and breathe out your Light. We are all connected from the Light within. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

DOGMA AND PERSECUTION

To all those races, sexes, and Gentiles who have had to put up with the dogma and persecution of the various sects of Christianity come to know one thing; it was the followers of Christ who committed those atrocities against you and not the Christ.

It was those who chose to live in fear instead of the love of Christ. He spoke with love and authority and no one listened to what he truly said. They heard what they wanted to hear to control, dominate and manipulate you to their own end. They are living in pure hell and they don’t even realize it.

Become one with the Christ within you. All of the great religions have spoken of this reality and it is called by many names. HELPING OTHERS

When you expect others to fulfill their potential it is incumbent upon you to help them to understand the tools that are available for them to become fulfilled.

Posturing about their opportunities and abilities without realizing that they might not have your vision is assuming that they have had the same type of experiences you have had. It is NOT demonstrating Divine love; it is living form without substance.

Anyone can learn what to do to unfold their Divine purpose in Divine order but in order to traverse the path they need the support of Divine love from those who do understand the form and share the substance. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

WALKING IN THE LIGHT

Walking in the light doesn’t mean that the path you traverse is always well lit; it means that no matter what path you are on you will be guided safely to your perceived destination by Divine love.

It means fine tuning your inner ear that perceives Divine silence and listening for the thoughts and images that direct you forward. Being internally perceptive as well as externally perceptive requires daily immersion in the well of Divine love.

There are NO excuses except what your ego manufactures to protect itself from sharing its perceived power with the Spirit of God.

To live, or not to live: that is the question

It is nobler in the mind to rejoice

The peace and love of the Divine,

To not take arms against a sea of troubles,

And by letting them go end them? To live: to awaken;

Evermore; and by an awakening to say we are eternal

No more heart-ache and thousands of natural shocks

That spirit is heir to, 'tis a fulfillment

It is up to you to answer these questions honestly to yourself. If you can’t, your ego is in command and it will maintain its rule over you. Teach it to be the co-pilot to the Spirit of God within. PAINTING PICTURES WITH SOUND

A musician is an artist that paints pictures with sound. The palette of various tonal colors in unison and harmony are expressed within the precision of rhythm.

When a musician ‘aligns’ with other musicians in the expression of the sonic palette, it creates internal reactions and proactions of being ‘in the zone’.

The feeling of peace and alignment while 'in the zone' gives a musician a sense of purpose and meaning. I have experienced this many times in my life while playing in bands onstage, in rehearsal and in recording. When the 'groove' is felt completely it's as if you are riding the crest of the wave of spirit in perfect harmony and rhythm. You just let yourself go and become the music.

It IS an alignment of the physical and spiritual by letting go of the mental and emotional reactions and proactions. Your feelings are your guide to immersing yourself in the music; being one with the music requires the ‘letting go’ of any perceived ability to control the ‘flow’ of the music.

It is an experience that comes after years of learning, practicing and performing have been expressed. Much the same with anything in your life; co-create your individual ‘song’ by learning what it is, practicing the ways in which you express it and performing it perfectly in your life. ~Dean A. To all you closet racists out there I would like to challenge you with one thought. When you go and vote for a liar, deceiver and a person who doesn’t give a rat’s ass about you or your family (Trump), and when he implements all of his skewed and corporate agenda; and when you are worse off in one year than you ever have been in your whole life; I want you to remember one thing: You were warned.

You were informed. You were advised. And you still chose to follow what you ‘thought’ was right. Shame on you for hiding your obvious racism. Shame on you for denying the truth when it was right in your face; and shame on you for imposing YOUR view on the rest of us because you didn’t make the time to investigate the truth.

Once you come to the realization that what you imagine as real is how your life unfolds, you will begin to make the correct choices in what you hold as true.

You might be a winner with $$$, but you are a LOSER as a person. Your ego is so big that it magnetically sucks what hair you have left to your head. Everything you do is so that people will recognize you.

A WINDFALL

What's right is right and what's wrong is wrong. When you argue for what's right and stand firm on the truth, you create and windfall of energy that will lift you up and carry you through.

When you argue for what's wrong and force your way through based on lies, you create a backlash of energy that will suck you in and spit you out. What is right?

Anything and everything that supports the growth and expansion of life, the understanding of truth and the sharing of Divine love. What is wrong? Anything and everything that debilitates growth and expansion for you and others and denies the sharing of Divine love with ANYONE!

This is a simple acid test that can be used as a lifelong barometer for aligning your Divine purpose with Divine order. Be fruitful and forthright with others, yourself and the Divine. It is why you are here! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

SMELLING FEAR

Can we smell fear? Do we have a built in reptilian brain mechanism that ‘senses’ fear and other emotions? Recent biological research in the Netherlands shows that we can ‘smell’ fear and other emotions like ‘disgust’. In fact, most recent research in our ability to sense our environment shows that our senses work together in creating a ‘sensory snapshot’ of ‘slices’ of the electromagnetic spectrum that are ‘received’ by our senses and that we emotionally ‘react’ to through the constructs of ‘fight or flight’.

Our 5 physical senses are miraculous receptors of environmental stimuli. They receive electromagnetic and mechanical ‘waves’ in frequency ranges and convert them to chemical reactions that travel through our bodies to our brains. Our nerves operate on a ‘sodium-potassium’ pump that discharges electrical energy that our brains receive and ‘react’ with chemical interchanges that generate ‘thought’ energy to either ‘run toward’ or ‘run away from’ environmental stimuli. Our internal mechanism of environmental interaction is quite elaborate, yet very simple. It generally works quite well most of the time except when influenced by outside or self-induced ‘chemical’ alterations.

What about our speculated 6th and 7th senses? Our sixth ‘psychic’ sense has been documented by scientific research and postulated based on a ‘probability’ of its existence. We sense ‘feelings’ from our environments without respect to distance or proximity of the source of those feelings. These, in turn, get programmed into our subconscious minds that automatically respond to similar occurrences repeated in our environments.

Our seventh ‘spiritual’ sense has been postulated as our channel of Divine communication. It is where we no longer ‘sense’ what is occurring outside of ourselves; it is what we ‘know’ is occurring without the backup of physical ‘facts’ and the perception of the truth and validity of those facts. This ‘knowing’ resonates in our ‘being’ and compels us to take action toward ‘averting’ or ‘concurring’ with occurrences in our environment as being ‘good’ or ‘bad’ to our well-being.

Daily meditation keeps this channel ‘open’ and ‘clear’ for us to ‘know’ what is truly going on in our respective environments. Our seventh sense is not something that we can prove physically, but that doesn’t stop us from using it. Much like magnetism; ask any engineer or scientist ‘what’ it is and they will come up with explanations of what it ‘does’ but NOT what it ‘is’. That doesn’t stop us from using the ‘effects’ of it to provide over 5 billion mobile devices throughout the world in order to communicate with each other.

All of our senses work together to create a ‘snapshot’ of our world that we subsequently ‘react’ to or ‘proact’ from in order to traverse through our lives and affect our environments. A healthy body, a balance of appropriate emotions, a clear mind and a ‘spiritual’ communion are the ingredients to an effective recipe for growth and expansion.

Use the gifts of our senses to navigate through life and co-create a world that reflects beauty, peace and love. It is up to each and every one of us to purge our beings from erroneous beliefs derived from our experiences and celebrate the beauty that life has to offer. Be ye therefore perfect. ~Dean A. FINE TUNING

How do we gain more knowledge of our lives? We learn to fine tune the perception of our environments and develop an understanding of how the pieces fit together. This gives us a working knowledge of life; however, it doesn’t stop there. We need to understand the knowledge we have learned and how to integrate it into manifesting our Divine purpose perfectly.

By listening to the examples of others and the platitudes of embracing wisdom, we learn how and when to use the knowledge we have gained. At the core of obtaining wisdom is the understanding of the equality of all; the respect for the divinity within each and every one of us. This benchmark provides a standard by which we discern our societal integration and judge our subsequent behaviors. Wisdom embraces equity, judgment and the deliverance of justice for all. It teaches the value of discretion in our interactions with all of life.

The path to living in Divine wisdom starts with a willingness to be educated, a thirst for knowledge and a determination to know the truth. Upon learning from life, others and the diligent absorption of the thoughts and feelings written down through the ages, we learn to seek the counsel of the Divine within by making the time everyday for communion with the source of all life.

The perception of an endless enigma and the unsolved riddles of life unwind and unfold when we allow the Divine to move Divine love through us, projecting the events, situations, occurrences, circumstances and people involved that are necessary to unfold our Divine purposes in Divine order.

Listen to the instruction of the still small voice of God and walk in the light of Divine wisdom. It is your destiny when you choose to allow Divine love to flow through you instead of resisting what you perceive is harming you. Wisdom comes from letting go. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

KNOWING THE MEANING

To all my wonderful friends: Before you cast aspersions on judgment, know exactly what it means. It is not what you might think it is, nor is it what is espoused in many 'spiritual' books. It is a tool to use to help you define and navigate on your individual path and not a stick to beat up another with to satisfy and justify your own thoughts, words, actions and beliefs.

Look up its definition. Read about how Jesus said your judgment is just when it is based on the wisdom of life. Stop throwing out the baby with the bathwater because some teacher, book or feeling taught you that judgment is a bad thing.

Until you realize that it is a way for you to learn about yourself, others and life in general, you will not be free from the constraints of your deceptive ego. Peace. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

When you allow someone to disrespect you over and over again, what does that say about you? Do you allow it happen time and time again and bite your tongue? Or do you say what’s on your mind and tell the truth?

It is up to all of us to either accept or reject people’s behavior toward us. When we accept their behavior and allow their dysfunctional behavior to prevail, we have a choice to either reject or resist their behaviors, or to simply remove yourself from their presence.

When the spirit moves your ego to say, “F this shit”, there is a reason. Follow it. No matter how things may appear, follow your heart. Trust in the Divine for the Divine is your source. Living with the stress of other people’s dysfunctional behavior is not what you are here for and it is not incumbent on you to accept it.

Be forthright and honest in all you do and you will allow yourself to grow and expand into the being you were created to be.

DEFINING WHO YOU ARE

What you allow to transpire in your life defines who you are, what you are becoming and how you are expressing your Divine purpose. Only allow what aligns your Divine purpose with Divine order in order to live in health, wealth, prosperity and abundance each and every day of your life.

Joy, peace, understanding, happiness and fulfillment are yours when you trust and allow the Divine to guide you. Don’t fool yourself into believing you are in control by resisting what you don’t understand.

Allow what you perceive as detrimental to your existence to pass through you without cognitive resistance and you won’t attach any negative emotions to that flow of energy.

Remove the non-cognitive emotional reactions by allowing Divine love to center you and nurture your growth and expansion into emotional maturity.

Be responsible for your ‘reactions’ and convert them into proactions by praying for guidance (asking), meditating to receive guidance (seeking) and serving others with your talents, skills and abilities (knocking).

IT'S BUSINESS?

The excuse many business people use to justify screwing over others is, "It's business." Well, getting the 'business' is different from being in 'business'. The true nature of business is to derive a profit from providing a valuable product or service to others.

This is adding value to people by creating innovation and not taking advantage of them. The next time you hear a business person saying, “It’s business” when people are hurt in the process, know that their egos are in command and their selfish desires are more important than anything else to them.

MEDITATION TECHNIQUES

Many meditation 'learning' techniques require concentration on a mantra or image until it dissipates and you enter a 'meditative' state.

Meditation is NOT concentration, contemplation or evaluation.

It is not ‘reasoning’ at all; it is remaining in silence, stillness and peace by allowing the chatter of your mind to flow naturally into oblivion. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

A BLACK HOLE

A black hole has several parts that explained by scientific constructs. The outer layer of a black hole is called the ‘ergosphere’; it is the region where matter and energy can be ‘extracted’ from the influence of the tremendous gravity of a black hole.

The next layer down is the ‘event horizon’. This is the inner layer where matter and energy ‘break down’ due to extreme gravitational influence. It is the ‘point of no return’ for matter and energy because they cannot escape the gravitational pull of the black hole.

The final region of a black hole is known as the ‘singularity’. It is a single point of infinite gravity smaller than the size of a hydrogen atom that either ‘crushes’ or ‘obliterates’ all matter and energy or simply ‘bridges’ it to another ‘universe’. It is a construct of something we don’t fully understand but we identify by its perceived characteristics.

Our consciousness operates in much the same manner. We extract influences from our immediate environments (like the ergosphere) that we either reject or accept internally. These influences are not too powerful at this point because they have yet to be emotionalized.

When these influences enter our subconscious minds and become emotionalized, they enter the ‘point of no return’ (like the event horizon) and get pulled to our centers of ‘singularity’. At the point of singularity these influences are ‘bridged’ and projected into our individual realities where we either react to them or proact from them.

It is always important to our individual well-beings to pay attention to what we ‘extract’ from our experiences and what emotions we allow to reinforce our evaluations of those experiences. The infinite gravitational power of a black hole is the same power of the ’singularity’ of our consciousness on a desired outcome when we allow our inner spirits to guide us to its fruition.

The Divine always answers ‘Yes’, but how that yes comes about is not dependent on our assessment of how it should come about but on how it should benefit all of life. When your realize that God is your pilot and the only thing you need to do is move the wheel in the direction you are guided to, then, and only then, will you experience the complete unfolding of your Divine purpose in Divine order. ~Dean A. RUNNING OUT
OF EXCUSES?

What do you do when you have run out of excuses to become what you were created to be? Do you invent more excuses? Do you isolate yourself from others? Or do you make the proactive decision to hunker down and grind out the changes you need to make?

JUDGMENT IS A TOOL!

Judgment is a tool by which we navigate through life. Jesus NEVER said to not use judgment. He said that if you do, you will be judged.

He also said that when we understand the wisdom of God our judgment is just. Would you rather be judged for having just judgment or for having bad judgment?

DOING NOTHING?

We all have the choice to attack the aberrance of others or love them from a distance. I have tried both approaches and they both work. Attacks jar loose the complacency of those who need more than love to awaken them. Sometimes we have to communicate with others in the language they understand; like Jesus did with the moneychangers.

We live in a world that is dualistic in nature and we need to use the tools at our disposal to initiate change. Jesus said not to remain in your closet to affect change; he said to love your neighbor as yourself and participate in life. Jesus himself pointed out the aberrance of others in not bearing good fruit in his interaction with the fig tree. Did he ‘love’ the fig tree? No, he cursed it for NOT bearing good fruit.

Love is a Divine tool and as James said, “Faith without works is dead.” Doing nothing in the face of aberrance is tantamount to participating in that aberrance. A leader never walks the path for the followers; the leader walks the path and the followers must follow the leader themselves in order to arrive at the destination. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

LYING TO YOURSELF

Denying who and what you are is lying to yourself. Do you want to live a lie or do you want to be whom and what you were created to be?

Embrace the seed that the Divine has planted in your heart and nurture it no matter what occurs. That seed is your destiny and that seed is for you alone.
